[9.0] "Not as bad as many are trying to show. And to be completely honest, it's not bad at all. Gradwell is a great character and a decent wrestler who never leaves anyone indifferent and who is always happy to see on the screen. His gimmick is just gold, he aggressively digs into other wrestlers, turns them against him, after which he is beaten. This is all repeated, but it works in a comedic way and sometimes gives great matches (against Dragunov, for example). I think people need to try to treat it differently and look at it outside the context of a low rating. However, the fact that no one has yet removed the rating based on one (! ) tournament (! ) match says a lot. But I willn't tire of repeating that Sam is a good employee who has found his role and is successfully developing it. Upd: More than a year has passed since I wrote my comment, and Gradwell has become even better, he was a real icon of NXT UK right up to the closing, showing convincing and excellent matches, ALWAYS having a storyline. I have no idea why they keep giving him shitty grades, this will always remain the main mystery for me. It seems that people recognize him as a talented performer only after a while, like Taichi, stating for some mythical and incredible progress, instead of initially looking at the wrestler not through the prism of rating and positioning by the promotion itself."

[8.0] "Since his return to the ring in 2020, Gradwell has become one of the more interesting characters on NXT UK. A solid brawler in the ring, who is able to go deep into a fight when needed."

[5.0] "While I have vaguely followed McKenzie off and on, I can agree on some points made of him. I must point out though, that as a critic of these wrestlers, you must not think with a WWE mindset. To grade every individual that steps between the ring ropes by WWE standards is highly unfair. I won't say McKenzie is perfect. For 7 years, he still has his weak points, I can agree that he has good physical assets and perhaps he could well establish his career as a heel instead of a face. Could he improve on his timing, move set and overall in-ring performance? Absolutely. I watched some of his matches and his weaknesses in the ring are quite obvious. It's easy to say a person is mediocre or horribly flawed when they enter the WWE for the first time, but it's obvious too that WWE was simply scooping up local UK talent to stock its UK Championship Tournament. I hope for his two matches he was decently paid. But overall, I won't write off McKenzie as a disappointing young talent. He obviously needs more time to improve his work and with determination he will. I hope he took his time with the WWE tour as a learning experience as he continues on in his career."

[3.0] "I´ve only saw this kid in the firs round of the wwe uk tournament. Great introductory vignette that showed a lot of intensity and sparks of a great heel. Then the match started and he did very few things. At some points he was moving at slow motion and throwing forearms and punches really really weak and bad looking. He should work on his punches, become a powerhouse heel and improve a lot in the ring. He has the Charisma and the promo skills, but needs a lot of work in the ring."
