[9.0] "I've been a fan of Miu Watanabe since her debut in TJPW thanks to her infectious, positive personality (L-O-V-E! ) and power-based offense really standing out to me in the realm of Joshi wrestling, but this year she has taken a major step up to where I feel it's fair to call her one of the best wrestlers in the world today. It's not just having the best Giant Swing going in the biz (and second only to Claudio Castagnoli's prime swings all time); now closer to a decade of experience she has elevated her selling and match psychology to become a model top babyface. Every match she has, no matter her opponent, I am rooting for her and feeling every bit of struggle and exhilarating triumph along the way. She has truly become the next top TJPW face (sorely needed after the departure of Yuka), and while some might take issue with the strength of her booking I truly believe she has the presence, sheer ability, and crowd support to justify being put on such a pedestal. The only reason I am only rating Miu a 9 instead of a 10 is because I feel she's going to improve even further from here, and I'm excited to witness where that goes."

[10.0] "3, 2, 1, let's go! Miu has been putting on the best main event matches of any wrestler I've watched in 2024. I highly recommend watching any of her PPV matches. My rating of Miu is based on Bret Hart's three categories for ranking wrestlers: look, promo, and in-ring ability. Miu's look was likely dialed in long before becoming a wrestler, since her career began as a pop idol. She still performs at TJPW events and sings her own theme song as well. However, don't be deterred as she isn't some one-dimensional cute pop singer, as Miu is pretty jacked. Her ring gear also looks fantastic. As for promo ability, she clearly has a lot of hooks to capture the audience and is super comfortable speaking in front of live crowds. She's been a performer since she was a teen, so she looks completely comfortable in front of a camera and is among the most charismatic wrestlers of the modern day. In terms of in-ring ability, Miu might almost be too good for TJPW as she could easily hang with any of Stardom's top talent. She is usually stronger than her opponent and can pull off moves that require a lot of endurance, including the fastest giant swing you've ever seen. Miu also has good mat wrestling ability and usually starts matches with a display of holds and submissions. Her slams are powerful and are appropriate for a main event talent like herself. With her charisma and ability to make fifteen minute matches look easy, Miu Watanabe is able to enthrall crowds and will likely keep rising in popularity as more and more wrestling fans witness her l-o-v-e for puroresu."

[9.0] "A total package for TJPW: great in-ring, charismatic, immensely likeable, and completely over with fans. There's not much negative to say, in a few years she'll be in talks to be one of the best wrestlers in Japan. She really has everything you could want in a wrestler and I can't wait to see what the future holds for her."

[10.0] "L-O-V-E LOVE PURORESU! It's fitting that one of TJPW's brightest stars has one of the best entrance themes. Miu Watanabe is still young but has already established herself as being the promotion's future ace, especially with her recent and thoroughly-deserved first Princess of Princess Championship victory. TJPW has sometimes been criticised for the stagnancy of its title scene, with the top belt usually being traded back-and-forth between company pillars Miyu Yamashita, Yuka Sakazaki and Shoko Nakajima - All of whom are excellent wrestlers but have certainly made it difficult for the company to create real contenders to challenge them. Fortunately, Miu Watanabe's talent is undeniable and she's managed to break through. Miu is the complete package in terms of a TJPW wrestler: She has such a bubbly and charming personality (seriously, try to find pictures of her where she isn't smiling) with the wrestling ability to boot. Miu's incredibly strong for her size and her moveset fittingly makes good use of this, with her giant swing being one of the best in the business. Miu's also the de facto leader of TJPW's Up-Up Girls idol unit. I don't usually care for idol culture but Miu's energy in UUG's performances before every show is infectious. Very excited to see how she progresses."

[10.0] "One of the crown jewels of the current TJPW roster. Young, very expressive and has an impressive strength-based offense. Her giant swing and Tear Drop facebuster are incredible, and she puts up a good fight every time she's in the ring. Now that she's the PoP champion, I am extremely excited for the future of TJPW. So much charisma and energy, an all-timer right before our eyes."

"Miu is so funny to me, because even tho she comes out as this bubbly idol, with theme song about how much L-O-V-E LOVES PURORESU, the thing that hooks me in (and im guessing other people also) is how much of a fucking powerhouse she is the ring, its almost like a flip is switched when the bell rings and she starts demolishing her opponents with backbreakers, chops, slams and of course, her very inovative set of swings. She is also an amazing underdog when needed to as you can in her match against Miyu Amasaki that they had in 2022. Just a complete fucking package and one of my favorites at the moment"

Teej of course, is a strong company to be a part of and I get the feeling the idol stuff comes first before the wrestling career(even if she's a good wrestler). I just feel like she needs to advance at this point and start breaking out. That is of course if she want's to."

[8.0] "I like Miu a lot, her power helps her stand out in TJPW but what I really enjoy from her work and an element of her work that gets somewhat under rated is her selling and ability to draw you in. Consitently the best thing on TJPW shows for the past 12 months and be interesting to see if she does stay long term and what her ceiling is."

[10.0] "Have you ever heard her song? Do you like it? Why not? Why would you not like that sh*t? That's a hit in any country. Twice in many. She is a really good wrestler too who seems to be getting better and better. Super expressive and has emotions that come through."

[9.0] "Miu, in my opinion, has the brightest future in TJPW right now. She's full of charisma, is great in the ring, and a joy to watch. I think she has all the qualities to be a star wherever she goes, whether that be staying in Japan or branching off to the states. I think Miu will be a huge star within the next few years."

Her bottomless energy and likeability are such a joy to see, she is such a great babyface and also a dominant force in the ring that can bring the best out of anyone. She is mainly known for her absurd strengh and giant swing, and she can do so more much more: she is fast, precise in timing, and a good technician, both in tag in single action."

[9.0] "I am boosting her up to a 9 based on her current work. She just keeps delivering quality matches. She is exciting to watch wrestle and seemingly never botches. Her gimmick is simple but is great as a 'main character' face type. Her powerhouse wrestling style is awesome fun and she, even with the visible muscles, is ridiculously and deceptively strong. Future top star of TJPW for sure; unless Stardom snaps her up."

[9.0] "I am blown away by how great this girl is. She has it all: The beauty, the genuine personality, the in-ring talent, you name it. In a few years, she will become a major threat to Miyu Yamashita's position as The ACE of Tokyo Joshi Pro. This will probably become the female version of Mitsuharu Misawa vs. Jumbo Tsuruta. The young up-and-comer who is finally ready to dethrone the long running ACE and take over that position vs. The long-time ACE, who now realizes that after years of being on top, their position is being threatened, and proceeds to transform themselves into a menacing, mean-spirited, hard-hitting, ruthless badass who is fighting so hard to protect their spot. I love it, and I can't wait to see it happen."

[9.0] "My favorite TJPW wrestler apart from Miyu probably. TJPW has a problem with pushing new people and giving them the top title but they need to do it with Miu, she's too good not to, plus her in ring style and freakish strength makes her different to the rest of the roster . Needs to be POP champion in 2 years max, if not, I would consider jumping ship. Top talent."

[9.0] "Her rating should be way higher. She makes me think a lot of Cesaro with her giant swing and big power moves with a relatively small size but very muscular. She is one of the best wrestlers in TJPW, who always deliver on tag or solo matches. Also, her theme song is a pure banger."

[9.0] "I'm a massive Miu Watanabe fan. She's quickly becoming one of Tokyo Joshi's best in-ring wrestlers, so much so that they're trusting her to help Miyu Yamashita train the newest TJPW wrestler Yuki Arai, and she's also one of the promotion's best entertainers. Also, she mighttttt have usurped Cesaro for having the best swing in the business today."

[6.0] "Miu has shown a lot of promise early on in her career. She has been a great seller since pretty much day one and is great at playing the underdog role. The main thing that really makes her stand out though, is that she is deceptively strong, which on the current TJPW roster, is very showing. Her idol background has also helped her, as she is very comfortable in front of a crowd and always shows a lot of energy and charisma when on the mic. Definitely not the finished article yet, but I feel that Miu has a lot of potential."

[7.0] "As it stands currently, Miu is an unpolished but very promising young Joshi hoss with a lot of potential, I feel like she really shines in tag matches where she can showcase her impressive feats of strength and hard strikes. Be it in her song performances as a member of Up-Up Girls or in the ring as a competitor, Miu puts in a lot of effort and energy and I think eventually it's gonna pay off."
