[10.0] "23 years & Counting in the business & Still A++++ & maybe even more because now she's a smarter worker as well. I've followed her career since 2004 on WEW PPVs. She carries a level of Seriousness in her work & while she doesn't get that much mic time (and I wish she did get more because she's underrated on the mic), she represents being "real"."

[8.0] "Martinez has never been my cup of tea, but I have to admit that she has left a big legacy in pro wrestling. Her runs in the bigger promotions, WWE and AEW, came as she was beginning to decline, but prior to that, she was widely respected all around talent across the independent scene. Strong, nimble, good striker and technician, Martinez brought intensity and believability when she was at her best. I think her later runs will give her a bad rep for the next generation of fans, but those who saw her in the early to mid 2010s will appreciate what she was capable of."

[4.0] "I have only seen her from her NXT and AEW runs, and I think it's fair to say that they have not been good. She's not good in the ring, I don't understand what everyone sees in her that's so great. I don't personally see it."

[5.0] "I gather that she's had a long and solid career. I can respect that, but this rating is based solely on what I've seen from her in AEW, and she hasn't been great. Kind of a "meh" character, and her in-ring stuff isn't very great."

Not sure why she wasn't picked up sooner, or maybe it was her decision but I don't think people realize how good she is, and that includes me. Still, just watch her match with Tessa Blanchard and one will see just how talented she is. Not much in the charisma department though and her mic skills can be lacking. Overall she's above average."

[5.0] "This is just going off her time in NXT, as I haven? t seen any of her indy stuff, but she? s just average to me. She? s got a cool look, but other than she? s super bland. Her in-ring work has never really stood out for me, and she? s nothing special on the mic, either."

Looked like she had signed with AEW at All Out 2019. Then was signed by WWE, dodged a bullet by getting out of retribution and hopefully she will do good in NXT."

She has an incredible look, she's a believable baby face AND heel. If you look at the comments you'll see the lowest score she has is a 4 because of her "obnoxious body art" but if that's the biggest complaint about her (a stupid one) then that should tell you how good she is."

She's strong, and nimble, while being a skilled brawler, striker, and technician to boot. She is incredibly versatile, looks like a total badass, and her years of experience elevates her matches, and the matches of anyone she wrestles against. I'm a huge fan, and I hope she gets signed to the WWE long term. She deserves going balance recognition for her years of hard work, and dedication to the craft."

Though if you are looking for believably and passion then look no further in Mercedes Martinez. A great worker who can play a technical game as well as brawl with the best of them. Also she may be one of the top three female talkers in wrestling today."
