[10.0] "Kevin Owens is one of the most underrated wrestlers of all time. There is quite literally nothing in this business that he can't do. Need a solid midcarder? Done. Need a believable main eventer? Done. Need him to make someone else look like a monster? Done. Hell, you can throw him in comedic storylines and he'll still find a way to make it work, dude could go out there and wrestle a broom for 3 hours and still find a way to make it entertaining. On top of that he can go in the ring like nobody's business and is one of the best modern day promos i've ever seen. I really hope we get to see him win another world championship if/when he recovers from his neck injury because it seems criminal that he's only had 1."

While he doesn't always get the big marquee wins his performances deserve, his longevity, adaptability, and match quality across multiple eras put him comfortably among the best. A true all-around worker who elevates everything he's involved in."

Alike AJ Styles vs Will Ospreay, two of my favorite wrestlers ever in Steve Austin vs Kevin Owens was a dream match for me that HAPPENED & delivered! I love Kevin's work in ROH, his wrestling background is absolutely legendary. The Kevin Steen show series on YouTube from his time before he joined WWE is definitely my show from any wrestler. The episodes are so unbelievably funny & entertaining. I will always love Kevin Owens FOREVER! I also think he can be World Champion when he returns from injury."

[9.0] "Should've went to the dub and I'm not ashamed to say it. The WWE is kind of unable to write him properly in a PG setting, Steen was at his coolest when he was with S.C.U.M. and a total bastard. His tag match against the Usos still holds up regardless. One of my favorite wrestlers of all time and I will never forget his work if he essentially retires after this most recent neck injury. I truly hope he can return and have some kick ass matches."

[9.0] "Owens is one of those dudes that will put his body on the line to really sell a feud. There's been so many time I've been meh on one of his stories, only for him to take some insane bump or do a memorable enough spot that I'm suddenly locked in."

[6.0] "Kevin has been terrible on the mic in recent years, decent in the ring, and his character hasn't changed in a long time. His look also makes it hard to take him seriously. But I do like his matches against Roman Reigns at the end of 2020 and beginning of 2021, as well as his older tag matches against the Briscoes."

"(10.0) I love Kevin Owens. His current gimmick is great, his matches are as good as ever, the way he brings belivability BACK into pro wrestling is what astounds me. In a world of black and white, Kevin is always the blur between and he conveys that through his promowork. His matches with Cody & Sami were excellent, and his work in the past with Sami vs. The Usos. Whenever he worked with the Briscoes, or against Cena, he's worked with so much talent and claws a way to be the biggest star in the math. Get well soon, I miss you!"

The wrestling community truly missed his energy, his passion, and the unpredictability he brings to every show. Few performers connect on such a real level, and that's what makes Kevin Owens so special."

[6.0] "Kevin Owens truly had all the traits to be a top face of the company: charisma, great ring skills, excellent mic skills, and a unique character. But WWE didn't appreciate him, turning him into a pathetic chicken-heel. As a result, after his failed Universal Championship run, he never rose above that. Although he can be good both as a heel and as a face. He can be a destroyer heel with painful moves, or a cool, fighting face capable of going to the last drop. He's his own man--an ideal character. But in the company, they only humiliated him, keeping him in the role of a jobber and a filler for title matches when there are no opponents. Owens had many interesting moments where he could have switched things up (returning to NXT in 2019, the battle with The Fiend, destroying Shane McMahon). But none of that changed anything for him. They kept burying him. For some reason, they even buried him to Steve Austin at WM38, when it was an ideal chance to pass the torch. Why can Corbin beat Angle in the last match of the second, but Owens can't? Plus, Owens was made to look like an idiot. He's an active wrestler who legitimately lost to a veteran who hadn't been in the ring for about 20 years (or more than 15, correct me if I'm wrong). He had many chances to take the title from Reigns, but they never let him. They just gave him tag titles with Zayn as a bone, a handout--to make it look like he's on the company's roster. They didn't even give him the US title at WM40, and we were content with Logan Paul's win when it could've been a WM moment. Or even a Benua-Guerrero moment where Sami and Kevin win titles on the same show. The only right move would've been for him to go to another promotion, like AEW. He had nothing to gain in WWE. But he chose to re-sign with WWE just to show off his Lamborghini on social media. I don't have the right to judge Owens for that, but I doubt he would've switched to a bicycle if he went to AEW. In the end, we see a brilliantly talented wrestler's career wasted. And we don't even know if he'll return. And do we even need him to? The cool Owens was still in 2015 when he debuted and destroyed John Cena. Over time, he started having empty, robotic matches."

[10.0] "When I think of a true wrestler, I think of Kevin Steen. Yeah, I could call him Kevin Owens, but I won't for the sake of this review because there is so much more to him than his WWE work. He has all the qualities you could ever ask for in a wrestler. His in ring is awesome, as are his mic skills. The stunner and package pile driver are cool moves, but by god, the Steenalizer is some insane shit. I understand why he retired it, but I really hope we see it in WWE at least once. Please Kevin. Please."

[10.0] "Most of the times looks are in fact not deceiving. But for Kevin? It sure is. He is living proof that you don't need 8 packs or a chiseled body to be a great wrestler or a showman. Ever since that incredible debut match with John, he has been a reliable worker who can put up bangers even putting his own body on the line. He's also got the gift of the gab, what else does a wrestler really need? Kevin really does need one more main-event title run before he hangs up the boots, it'd be such injustice to him if he doesn't for all he's done for the company post 2015."

From his Steen days to WWE, he's mastered both the mic and the ring, blending high-risk offense with sharp psychology. Sure, WWE has sometimes boxed him in, making his spots feel formulaic, but he still brings authenticity to every promo and match. Whether face or heel, Owens connects like few others. A true Canadian gem."

[10.0] "One of my genuine favourites of all time. There are a lot of reasons I love Owens for. He's one of the best examples of an Indy wrestler getting a chance at WWE as he managed to cope with the style while keeping his own unique style in. He's promo abilities are great, he has a great moveset and he understands in ring psychology. His feud with Zayn is some of the best work I've ever seen as the two have so much chemistry together. Owens is a complete package, to say the least"

He's had great runs in PWG, ROH, CZW, etc. Later he joined WWE (renaming himself to Kevin Owens) where he was a key player in 2015-2016 NXT. Steen had one of the greatest rivalries in pro wrestling (against El Generico aka Sami Zayn)."

His Steen days was filled with banger feuds with the Bricoes and El Generico (Wonder what happened to him? ) that result with great promo work and matches. His run in WWE and new run as a heel have been so fun to watch. Since his heel turn at Bad Blood, he has gone on A RUN! 5 star matches, intense stipulations, a CM Punk "Real AEW Title" esque run, it's just awesome."

[10.0] "Few people over the past 15 (maybe 20) years can even be in the same conversation as Kevin Owens/Steen in terms of understanding what it means to be a pro wrestler. At a minimum, for his time in WWE, he has basically constantly been interesting."

It's a genuine pleasure to get to watch him on a weekly basis, both as a character and in-ring performer. Unfortunately for him, he doesn't have the traditional look of a star, and that may of held him back at times. Regardless, he will still go down in history as a legend of the business."

Promo skills are above average, and I love his matches, but he will never have the look of a top star"

[10.0] "One of the best Wrestler in WWE, and also in the world, I don't think there is anyone in WWE who can do what KO does, even if you put KO against a trashcan, he will carry it to a good feud and matches, because of how he gives all his power in his programs, he's my pick to dethrone Cody."

"[6.0] I like to rate wrestlers on three criteria. Wrestling ability, promo skills, look/charisma. I rate him an eight on wrestling ability, as he can have a good match with just about anyone. I also rate his promo skills at an eight since he can cut great promos when needed. However, I have to grade him a one in the third category as he looks like a regular guy walking down the street and doesn't look like a real threat compared to the rest of the roster. After averaging the numbers and rounding them up, it comes to a rating of six. I don't see this number improving anytime soon with this career slowing down, but I hope he proves me wrong."

[9.0] "Witty promos, heartfelt speeches, big matches, memorable moments. Owens has all of them. A brilliant worker that stands out even amidst groups of talented people. You can always count on Kevin Owens giving a good match."

[10.0] "He is one of my absolute favourite wrestler, a hard worker and I love his whole meta persona watching the show, and he is just a genius in- and outside the ring."

[10.0] "KO is a guy who every company should strive to have signed and wrestlers should aspire to be. Kevin has an amazing in-ring style and very passionate and honest promos. Him as a face is awesome and amazing work, but his heel work should be studied. From Kevin Steen to his long rivalry with Sami Zayn. Overall amazing wrestler who deserves only positive reactions."

[8.0] "Was a fan of him ever since he was Kevin Steen in ROH. Even back then, you just knew this guy was special. Around that time, I never would have believed you if you said he'd be in WWE someday, let alone a world champion there. But here we are, as Kevin Owens, he has just excelled in the promotion and really taken his career to heights a lot of people could never have imagined. He's a very good promo, very good in-ring, his actual apperance is... eh, he's unique in that respect so you can't exactly hold his attire and such against him. The only negative against him, is that he can never be 100% babyface. He is just one of those guys who is a natural at being a heel. Putting him with Sami Zayn is one way of making him a babyface, I suppose. But that usually ends with Owens turning on Zayn, so a lot of people have that in the back of their mind whenever they're together. Had a great run in ROH, great run in WWE, feel like he's reached the point where there's nothing else really he can accomplish there. Had a very good match against Austin at WrestleMania, so in my opinion he has peaked as a performer in WWE. Can't really rate him other than a strong 8 because he's not the best wrestler of his generation, but he's a very good one and will be talked about for years to come."

[9.0] "Maybe the smarted wrestler on the planet lol? In the sense that his character is very logical and smart. Wrestling can be simple sometimes, you just have to watch the show, and his character actually watch the show contrary to everyone else lol. He's also an incredible worker. I don't know what he's better at : In ring or on the mic? That should tell you everything."

[9.0] "Kevin Owens is much like Sami Zayn in more ways than the obvious. No matter what, I always underrate them but as soon as they are given the slightest moment to shine, they steal the show. For Kevin Owens, this is best done when he leans towards being a heel. He can still play a great babyface I just don't really like his stunner. A joy to watch in the ring and I thoroughly love hearing them talk whether it be in a match or on the mic."

[9.0] "KO is incredible on the mic, a genuinely good worker, has a great mind for putting matches together, and has put on some all time greats particularly in ROH. Wish he had the chance to put on some better matches with some great workers over his WWE tenure, but he's been able to produce really good TV, memorable feuds, and some fantastic matches."

[8.0] "Kevin Owens is a very smart wrestler; he wrestles with intent and works well with every single style imaginable. He has been quite underutilised over the recent years, but the fans have never once not enjoyed anything he has partake in. A perfect candidate for a crowd worker. His promos are very good and always have those snarky digs that tend to go viral. He is preferably a better heel than face, in my opinion. Enjoyable to watch."

[10.0] "One of the best wreslters for his size. KO is very entertaining. On the indies or any WWE show, Kevin will give it his all in the ring. He can work babyface or heel and does great in either role. His promos are great too. Total package"

[8.0] "Kevin Owen is one of those rare people who can make any storyline believable and interesting, even the strangest, blandest or silliest. He knows exactly how to interact with the audience and has the gift of making crowds react, whether he's face or heel. His promos are always controlled and accurate. His in-ring is diversified, he knows how to take risks in the moments that deserve it and gives of himself. Despite some incredible matches and moments, his movepool and match writing are often limited, despite some compelling stories. Kevin has earned his successes and would surely deserve more, given his solid construction despite his long absence from the title scene. He's always entertaining, both outside and inside the ring, and that's an important element for the company. I'm sorry, though, that he's so grumpy and grouchy, especially in his non-kayfabe interviews."

[6.0] "He's ok. Liked him as a heel a lot more. Boring face, hated his temper tantrum character a few years ago cringe asf. Good wrestler, dont like the stunner added to his arsenal. Mic skills good. Not very many iconic moments or 5 star matches that jump at you."

[9.0] "Kevin Owens is a remarkable performer with a unique blend of charisma, in-ring skill, and versatility. His ability to deliver compelling promos and create engaging storylines sets him apart. Owens matches are often characterized by their hard-hitting style and emotional intensity, reflecting his deep understanding of wrestling psychology. However, his tendency to occasionally rely on the same spots or sequences can make some of his matches feel predictable. While his promos are usually strong, there are moments when his character development could benefit from more nuance or variety. Overall, Owens remains an exceptional talent, and his contributions to wrestling are substantial. With a few adjustments, he could elevate his already impressive career to even greater heights."

[9.0] "I've only recently got back into wrestling so I missed a lot of KO's stuff, but from what I have seen currently and from various clips KO is going down as one of the greats. Great in-ring work, and great mic work just a great dude in general. I've only seen his face run, but from clips of his heel run dude is amazing."

[9.0] "Great in the ring, very good on the mic, and is deceptively athletic for his size. I was shocked when I saw him wrestle for the first time. I think he deserves another world title run. His stuff with Jericho was great."

[10.0] "One of the best wrestlers I've ever seen. An athletic freak for his size and ability, a dream move set that's creative, a style that is adaptive in any type of match, and entertaining in every way. Kevin Owens or (Steen) is probably a top 10 in-ring talent of all-time when you factor in the aforementioned groupings, and how he helped revive WWE in this new boom era. His WM39 match with Sami Zayn is a top 10 WM match of all-time and one of those rare matches and memories that bring the kid out in you and make you emotional. Can't say good enough things, but I'll end it with this: he's such a great wrestler that Stone Cold came out of retirement for one more match and gifted him the Stunner."

[9.0] "Unlike his best friend, Sami Zayn, Kevin Steen "Owens" is a fantastic wrestler capable of pulling great matches and also has great charisma."

[6.0] "Solid in-ring performer. As Kevin Steen he was pretty awesome. Personally I never liked his ring attire and look, but his in-ring performances were great back at that time. Then he got to WWE and seemingly became a neutered, pale shell of his former self. He got more famous, but his ability largely suffered. He did entertaining work with Jericho in WWE and has had some moments, but has largely floundered. He came in with Sammy Zane who was oft viewed as his sidekick, but who has started to overshadow KO in recent years. I see him now as kind of a mid-card guy"

[9.0] "I love KO. I'll never understand how he isn't the biggest heel in the company. His character in WWE has become neutered and watered down. I know not everyone can be the champ, but KO feels so rudderless right now. Owens used to be all about the title and the money. It's not personal. Now he's just flat and it's entirely due to booking. Bring back the prize fighter!"

[10.0] "I gave him A 10 A few months ago, but I think its time I add A comment to this to really explain how much I love Kevin Owens. Kevin is an amazing all-around performer, he's amazing as A face and A heel and this and last year he main evented wrestlemania for good reason because he god damn deserves it. Whether its his amazing time as Steen in ROH or his nearly as amazing time as Kevin Owens in WWE, or his time in PWG or really anywhere he always puts on A hell of A show and A lot of times match of the night. His wars and amazing tag matches with Sami Zayn are also incredible, they have so much chemistry after being best friends for 21 years out of kayfabe, in kayfabe the relationship they have has been on and off for the past 14 years. I don't know if anyone could've imagined Kevin Steen mr. wrestling himself being this successful in the WWE but here we are, one of the best of this generation and I'll even say ever, fight Owens fight.. kill Steen kill."
