[4.0] "I'm sorry, I still don't get the appeal of Dominik Mysterio, after all these years of him being a heel, he still sucks. While he has improved in the ring and on the mic, that's still not saying much, he's still average at best and only could be argued as a good promo because of the fans booing him before he speaks. I seriously don't get the appeal, is it a post irony thing or something? Anyways, my main complaint about Dominik is that he makes it obvious he's playing a character and doesn't feel like an authentic heel, he gives off winking and nudging vibes when he's on TV. Whenever I see him on TV, I don't buy into him, he doesn't convince me that he's a real bad guy no matter who he aligns with or how often he disregards his own family. Seriously, how do you get trained by Rey Mysterio and Lance Storm and turn out to be a mediocre in-ring performer?"

He can't deliver a decent promo, much less wrestle; he looks completely like an amateur. He shouldn't ever set foot in a wrestling ring again; people who enjoy this character simply don't know anything about wrestling. They like mediocrity and have incredibly low standards, like every WWE fan, but the rest of us aren't blind and we know that Dominik has no talent and will never be a good wrestler, not in this life or any other."

Yeah, I can see who is listed as a trainer but they either did nothing or they're incompetent and I don't believe the latter. Then he kicked Edge in the nards and started making out with Rhea and somehow it was seen as this major improvement. 6 years on and counting and he still sucks in the ring and still can't deliver his line in a promo with believability. He also has the dubious distinction of being in arguably the shittiest John Cena PLE/PPV match ever. An unserious wrestler, (not talking about his character), with nothing to offer and should be remembered in the same way as Erik Watts was, useless."

[5.0] "most frustrating WWE wrestler of 2026, possibly? Dom started off really horribly and was difficult to see as anything but a wrestling nepo baby who was charismatic as a straight-laced babyface and pretty slow and below-average in the ring. he was eventually gifted with his Bad Boy gimmick, found an actual character, and gradually fell into that character more and more while genuinely improving in the ring; turns out, the 6'1" guy who was not exceptionally athletic was a lot better when he was trying to be Eddie Guerrero than when he was trying to be his 5 foot tall genetic freak dad. after a while, though, this all kind of puttered out. once the WWE reduced their schedule dramatically he sort of just stopped improving in the ring, his promo delivery became more awkward, etc, it was kind of as if the only practice he ever got was while a show was actively going on or something. now he's on a losing streak, has regressed in-ring to where he was years ago, and has more or less completely cooled off. he's still under 30 so something can easily change for him still, but at this point it's clear he needs to put in a level of effort with being a wrestler that he currently is simply not willing to or it's only gonna get worse."

Not that many memorable matches to speak of, and I will say I can remember him for all of the wrong reasons at times whether he's cutting a promo or putting on a match. He's memorable for all the wrong reasons at times. Not much else I can say that anybody could say otherwise. Give me props for going out and putting at least, some kind of effort, minimum and far great or not whenever he's a performing or cutting a promo."

[4.0] "Dominik Mysterio is one of the most overrated wrestlers right now. People acting like he's the second coming of Ric Flair come on now. He's improved vastly from when he first started in WWE and his promos aren't bad but they lack something. His in ring work is average at best and there are times when it looks like he is wrestling in slow motion. His movements are awkward, which is really noticeable for the 619 and frog splash. He also just isn't built like a wrestler, he's lanky as hell and should bulk up. Comparing him to Eddie Guerrero is a ridiculous statement. Nearly all his matches end in some sort of interference or cheating, which yeah ok he's a heel so some of that is alright, but when it happens every single match is becomes so predictable and boring to watch."

He is by far the worst wrestler maybe of all time. He lies to his fans saying he wanted to carry out the mysterio name and the mysterio legacy, however in reality he was in this for the money, and now that he has the money he doesn't work hard, he is one of the biggest losers ever. shame on rey for bringing him in too soon. His promo's are one of the worst even after so many years, he didn't raised his mic-skill and his matches always goes by one script: someone helps him to win and sometimes even with help he loses. But without any help, he can't win a crap, he's weak. he don't have a "warrior" or "lion-heart" spirit, he's just Rey Mysterio's son, who's can't do anything without his new or old daddy's help. Giving him a 3 because I don't hate him so much, only when he gets gifted something that he doesn't deserve and it's funny when he get screwed, and he's a good part of the Judgement Day, but still - no, thanks"

His mic work keeps improving, his character is consistently entertaining, and he's become one of the most must-see parts of Raw every week."

Dumbinik (yes that's who I call him) had already had a horrible face run and his heel run with the judgement day has gotten so stale. All of his matches are so boring always have to cheat to win via interference and dirty tactics; he doesn't hit the three amigos right nor the frog splash and his 619 looks like he's hitting someone with his fractured legs while trying not cause more injury. The heat that he got wasn't any heel heat, it was go-away heat because fans are tired of him being shoved in their faces. Every time he's gets on mic, he waits for the crowd to boo, talks like he's reading a book and have others as backup to finish his sentence. His love angle with Liv is even more disgusting, all they do is flirt awkwardly and acting like they are this power couple that no one really believes in. I hope Liv Morgan leaves him and turns face. Giving him wins against legends like AJ Styles is also so disrespectful because it takes away from hardworking talent. All he's doing is cosplaying as an temu eddie guerrero which is also disrespectful. Eddie had charisma that came from himself naturally and has the physique. There are so many talent back their that would love to fill dom's spot like Ethan Page, or Danhausen. Heck MJF in AEW is a better heel than dom, he gets hated because he's brilliant at what he does. All Dom really is just a wannabe wrestler and be a school playground bully who's got a physique of a banana peel. He's nothing but a nepo bum. If it wasn't for rey, he would be working at Pizza Hut or Wing Stop which is better for him anyway. His entire family should be ashamed of themselves."

His initial first years were very basic and average, the weight of the Mysterio name is very heavy and I must admit for a while I thought he just wasn't up to the task. He didn't have experience outside of the WWE, and didn't spend time in NXT. Was basically thrown in the deep end. His heel turn has changed his career so much, to the point where he is now one of the biggest stars in WWE. It was a slow burn getting to where he is now, but joining the Judgment Day did wonders for his career. He's able to put on some good matches and just has that aura/charisma about him where people care whenever he's there. He has stagnated I think, still doing good stuff but he was on a different level before and now he seems to have gone under that level a little bit. He's easy to love and easy to hate, no doubt a major player for WWE in the years to come. Giving him a 7 now because there's a lot of time left for him to become greater and anything above a 7 is too much for what he has done and where he is currently."

[10.0] "Dominik Mysterio, better known as "Dirty Dom, " is one of the most captivating and successful second-generation superstars in WWE today. Born into wrestling royalty as the son of the legendary Rey Mysterio, Dominik didn't just ride his father's coattails he forged his own controversial, must-watch path that has earned him massive respect from fans and peers alike. From his emotional in-ring debut at SummerSlam 2020, where he stood up for his family, to making history as the first father-son duo to win the SmackDown Tag Team Championship together, Dominik has continuously evolved. He broke away from the heroic shadow of his father, embraced the dark side with The Judgment Day, and transformed into one of the most effective heels in modern wrestling. His arrogant, rebellious "Dirty Dom" persona draws incredible heat while showcasing undeniable charisma and in-ring growth.Dominik's championship resume speaks for itself: a two-time WWE Intercontinental Champion (including a memorable victory at WrestleMania 41), two-time NXT North American Champion, SmackDown Tag Team Champion, and the current AAA Mega Champion. He has become the first wrestler to hold titles in both WWE and AAA simultaneously a true international standout. His signature moves, like the 619 and Frog Splash, pay homage to his family legacy while he adds his own flair and attitude. What truly sets Dominik apart is his remarkable personal development. Critics once saw him as just "Rey's son, " but he has silenced doubters with his confidence, mic skills, storytelling ability, and consistent performances. Many veterans and fans now call him a prime example of growth in WWE, praising how he turned potential into proven stardom. Whether he's causing chaos in The Judgment Day, defending midcard gold, or crossing over into Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide, Dominik brings intensity, entertainment, and star power every single time.Dirty Dom isn't just carrying on a legacy he's building a bigger, bolder one of his own. With his mix of athleticism, attitude, and undeniable presence, Dominik Mysterio is a future main-event fixture and one of the brightest talents in professional wrestling."

His natural ability to lean into his role as Dirty Dom has earned him a level of "nuclear heat" that is rarely seen in the industry; the moment he picks up a microphone, the crowd's reaction is so deafening that he can barely get a word out, which is a testament to his mastery of ring psychology. Beyond his character work with The Judgment Day, Dominik has shown immense growth as an in-ring performer, displaying a smooth technical style and a willingness to take risks that honor his Lucha Libre heritage while carving out his own unique identity. His commitment to the bit-from his hilarious hard times in prison persona to his complex on-screen relationships-proves that he isn't just riding on his father's coat-tails, but is instead a hardworking, vital cornerstone of WWE's future who understands the business better than veterans twice his age."

Patocc wrote on 07.01.2026:
"He is a wrestler whose popularity far outweighs his actual performance, built primarily on charisma and sustained exposure rather than consistent in-ring development. That charisma, which is not unique and is shared by many other talents with far less visibility, has been leveraged into a level of opportunity that is not fully justified by the results delivered. While his microphone work has shown some improvement, that progress has been uneven and, in practice, has advanced faster than his in-ring performance. Inside the ring, his growth has been slow, with competent but largely unremarkable execution and a clear lack of the qualitative leap that would justify the push he has received. Comparisons to other prospects are inevitable and, in this case, unfavorable. Wrestlers with significantly less screen time and far less creative backing have demonstrated greater technical development, a better grasp of match pacing, and a more evident progression. This highlights a difficult-to-ignore gap between opportunity and performance. Put simply, he is a talent who currently sells more than he delivers. Until there is a clear and sustained improvement in his in-ring work, his popularity will continue to rely on factors external to pure performance, ultimately limiting his long-term credibility as a central piece of the product."

In NXT he had some moments and at least he can be carried by some wrestlers to a good match (Dragon Lee and AJ Styles), but he needs to show a sign that he improved on the ring or he will become stale just like everyone else who can't deliver in the ring."

He's very committed to his kayfabe, but honestly, even though his in-ring skills have improved, I still think it was a mistake to take away some of his more high-flying moves like the moonsault and crossbody just because of his cowardly heel role. I hope they let him use more of the moves he used in the beginning soon I'm still hopeful for him."
