Blade

[5.0] "A bit worse than his partner but a great "pick and roll", he basically let anyone work on him, making this one looks good and don't get affected too much with it. As a tag wrestler, he is okay. Don't know if him and Butcher will be able to keep in the promotion for 2026, the roster is pretty stacked."

[8.0] "I'm a big fan of Pepper Parks/The Blade. I've followed him since his 2CW days, then onto TNA and AEW. He's the type of worker who you can put in with anyone and at least have a passable match. He can do singles or tags. Even into his 40s, I personally don't think he has lost a step. I'd love to see him and the Butcher have one reign as Tag or Trios Champs in AEW, even if it's a transitional one."

[7.0] "Parks/Sutter/Blade has been a solid wrestler wherever he went. He was a very good wrestler on the indies. Enjoyed his storylines in Impact with Allie and Van Ness. In AEW he has been a really good tag wrestler but has not shined as a singles wrestler. In the ring he is a very good pro wrestler with good moves psychology and a good mind. He is good on the mic but he does have room for improvements."

[8.0] "He has the perfect physique and he can look real when he is inside the wrestling ring, his tag team pairing with the butcher is just perfect for him."

[6.0] "The better wrestler of the Butcher/Blade team and a solid midcard heel character in his own right. Sadly I have not caught him at his athletic peak, so now in his 40s his ceiling is where he is at: midcard doorman for up-and-coming babyfaces to overcome and/or henchman for a more popular heel in a larger stable. I think he is fine with that role and so am I."

[6.0] "The Blade has an excellent look and can hold his own in the ring. He can put on solid tag matches and is decent at singles."

"Blade, Butcher and Bunny seem like the only good fit for the Hardy Family Office stable as they're money hungry mercenaries. If they were the only team in the faction it'd be easier to feature them as credible contenders for the tag team championships, which is their rightful spot."

[5.0] "I feel like he gets overshadowed by his more interesting tag partner, who's able to pull of their Road Warriors-inspired style a bit better. The Blade is fine, but outside of his great physique there isn't much to distinguish him from a bunch of other wrestlers on the roster."

[6.0] "I look at Butcher & Blade & I think they SHOULD be better than what we've seen of them thus far. I like their look & presentation. And I think they are solid in the ring. But at the same time, they are mostly used as enhancement talent. Guess it's an example of AEW's booking based heavily on friendship. Seems like Butcher & Blade might not be friends with the right people in that company. I was not watching TNA during the days he was there as Braxton Sutter, but I do see a look that, if the tag team breaks up, I think he could still find success as a single."

[6.0] "Not too bad I mean him and Butcher quite often have better matches than you expect. I just feel Blade on his own lacks charisma."

[3.0] "i don't see much of Jesse as Braxton gimmick , Just period time in impact wrestling. and bad lucky or else , i don't like his Style , Wrestling & he is Awful on mic. but i know he can be better , hope see him soon in other companies as better wrestler. Sorry for this rate and comment but i just watch his matches and career at Impact Wrestling and i don't know about his past."

[7.0] "I appreciate that Braxton Sutter (aka Pepper Parks) is a good in-ring worker but his personality comes off as very plain and bland to me so therefore I can't really get emotionally invested in him."

[8.0] "Solid Veteran with loads of Experience. He and Trevor Lee put on a clinic. Despite his age he is the type of guy you want on your roster. As, you want a guy that can make guys look good and hype the crowd. Him along with his lovely wife will fit into TNA if signed. I do think they are a package deal and despite WWE's less than active interest. I don't think they will sign everyone and will only pursue the big indie names. Having said that I expect him to be a Locker Room Leader and a Workhorse despite anything."
