[0.0] "First, condolences to his family for dying of Covid recently, that is definitely tragic. Unfortunately, that's about the only nice thing I have to say here. I'm not really a lucha guy, or a death match guy, traditionally, so I fully accept that Angel o Demonio is not "for me". That being said, even removing the infamous cinderblock incident, I can't really see anything here to enjoy in the limited matches I found. Slow, clumsy, uninspired death match wrestling of the most garbage style. He was sluggish, unimpressive in look, and the one promo I found - while I can't speak spanish - was full of stuttering and half-hearted emotion, so nothing too gripping there either. But of course, the main thing most people know him for is throwing a legitimate cinder-block at an opponent, hitting him in the back of the head in a way that could have very nearly killed him. The fact that he allegedly did it as a receipt for a chair shot is even more disgusting, and it's frankly good that he was banned from wrestling in Mexico City."

[1.0] "Angel o Demonio had a lengthy career but never quite made it to the top level of the lucha world (a single credited match in AAA in 2000 notwithstanding); most of it was spent in independent hardcore/deathmatch lucha promotions of varying levels. Unfortunately, the most prominent moment of his career was a negative one - a 2018 match against El Cuervo that ended with Angel smashing Cuervo's head with a cinderblock, leading to Cuervo having to have brain surgery (fortunately he would recover and return to wrestling) and Angel's wrestling license being revoked (though he did continue working right up until his passing in 2021). I will say that "Angel o Demonio" is an awesome ring name - too bad it wasn't attached to somebody more worthwhile."

[0.0] "A little-known Mexican wrestler who did not achieve much success, but gained notoriety because of his lack of professionalism, which later even hyped some promoters, inviting him to their show. Hector literally almost killed his opponent by throwing a concrete block on his head, and after that he was also defiantly indignant and as if doing a favor by accepting defeat in the match. So, 0 points for lack of professionalism, lack of significant achievements and not very good skills at the ring."
