[6.0] "Pretty good mic skills, satisfactory in the ring. MVP came up with being arrested and being thrown in jail as a teenager (WWE turned this into a storyline at one point) and he's just another alright worker. Not the best of his kind but, there's better elite workers out there the WWE has had."

[10.0] "He was great when he first joined the WWE and worked brilliantly as a face or a heel. I could name about ten guys who he deserved the World Title more than. But he was still very accomplished within the WWE and had some very good matches. Nowadays, in TNA, I think he's one of the best on the roster and he performs every time he's in the ring. Maybe, the WWE didn't use him as well as his potential deserved, but he'll still be remembered as a great wrestler and TNA is much better with him in it."

It's another thing altogther when you're also the inaugaral IWGP Intercontinental Champion. He may have never had a major title run, but MVP's certainly one of the best mid-carders in wrestling history. If half grades could be awarded, I'd give him a 7. 5."

[10.0] "One of WWE's biggest missed opportunities. The man had it all; look, charisma, mic skills and more importantly he could go in the ring. He is also a student of the game, studying video tapes and honing his craft basically after Masahiro Chono. It truly is amazing how badly they killed his momentum from late 2008 and onward, not once but on several occasions. First having him go on that losing streak and then also drafting him to RAW, in which he shined with a great promo on Legacy WWE still failed to capitalize on him. Even though he should have been World or WWE Champ, especially over the likes of the Miz, Jack Swagger, a green Sheamus etc. He can at least say he had a solid career and becoming the very first IWGP Intercontinental Champ which has become one of NJPW's top titles is an honor in itself. He has also been doing a great job in TNA being the mouthpiece for Bobby Lashley."
