"My entire style comes with a price and I've paid that price with my body"

Uhm, from the moment I won the WWE Title last year at SummerSlam from John Cena, for that thirty seconds before Randy Orton cashed-in his Money in the Bank contract, I knew this whole thing was gonna be a uphill battle. And it has been, it's a little steeper than I thought it would be ['YES'-Chants] So, that what it feels like to be John Cena [lacht]. And everybody from Randy Orton, The Shield, Big Show, Batista, The Authority through everybody they had at me, but somehow in someway, largely because of everybody here and everybody at home, we beat the odds! And I walked out of WrestleMania as the WWE World Heavyweight Champion! [Jubel]

But unfortunately when you're the WWE World Heavyweight Champion that puts a huge target on your back. And as soon as I got back from my honeymoon, I got the worst beating of my life. Uhm, Kane came out and he tombstoned me on the floor, the tombstoned me on the steel steps, he tombstoned me on the announce table and because of that I was in a neck brace but I was determined to beat Kane. I was determined to come back and beat him and at Extreme Rules, I did [Jubel]. But that comes with a price. My entire style comes with a price and the reason why I think a lot of you people cheer for me and chant for me is because I've come out here, I've paid that price with my body. And, uhm, unfortunately-- unfortunately I also have to pay the price this week with neck surgery [Raunen]. This Thursday I'm gonna have to go and get neck surgery and I'm not exactly really happy about it. This has been my dream ever since I've been a little kid. Uhm, and what's frustrating is that there is some people that are really happy about it. Stephanie McMahon, Triple H, Kane [Buhrufe]. They seemed to be thrilled by the prospect and to them it seems like my career is pretty much done. And-- ['NO'-Chants] there's, there is a chance that it could be. But it won't be! Now, when will I come back? I have no idea. But I think all of you know the answer to this question. Will I come back? ['YES'] YES! YES! YES! YES! YES!"
