[6.0] "Revolución Lucha Libre was founded at a time where only a few promotions existed in Chile, and social media didn't exist yet. During the first years, RLL was an awesome promotion that organized excellent shows and relied on new and young talent. Since they almost monopolized wrestling in Santiago, they didn't have to worry about competition. Four years after its foundation, they even managed to bring former WWE star Rikishi to perform in one show, a task that many thought to be impossible. However, after this initial success, the company slowly began to lose its momentum. Many wrestlers were unhappy with RLL's direction and management, and began to leave the project and create new Santiago-based promotions. Also, new companies began to appear outside of Santiago. RLL leaders tried in vain to keep their monopoly, but were unsuccesuful. For a while they refused to work with other promotions, until they realized (very lately) that they would go bankrupt if they insisted on that isolationist politic. Nowadays, while RLL is still operative, it is a shadow of its former self. Years of mediocre management and questionable business decision have taken a toll on the promotion."
