Northern Storm Wrestling (NSW)

"The second player in the Russian market. A good and strong promotion from St. Petersburg. With each new show, the promotion strives to improve the quality of matches. The promotion has also invited indie stars at various times."

[8.0] "NSW is a great local promotion, which features mostly talent from the St. Petersburg area. While the roster is not that big, everyone has their own style and brings something different to the table, which allows everyone to find someone they would like. While the war will make it difficult, I hope that they get a chance to grow internationally thanks to their alliance."

[10.0] "I follow NSWrestling for only one year (since 2017 New Year Storm event), but this promotion totally changed my opinion of Russian wrestling. They have roster not so big, but full of very talented performers (like Dmitry Donskoy, NED, Elita, Shaman, Samdi, Egor Sokolov & others). Besides every monthly show is visited by more skilled wrestlers from IWF (as Anton Deryabin, Ivan Markov or Dmitry Orlov). They had different interesting international guests like BlonDevil, Betty Rose, Stanislav Van Dobroniak, Facade & many others. Their matches are very technically skillfull, impessive & unforgettable."

[9.0] "NSW always brings up something new and fresh, creativity is on the professional level, storytelling is strong. This promotion still grows and getting bigger, but the passion of Saint Petersburg wrestlers impresses a lot. Hope to see more content from those Russian guys and wish to see them collide with Europeans finest. Keep it up!"

[8.0] "Good local wrestling promotion. Still has a lot of work in terms of production and overall presentation. Nevertheless, delivers a solid shows, always trying to do new stuff etc. Hope it only grows bigger."

[8.0] "Our country has not the greatest level of wrestling, but I can't say anything bad about this promotion. Many people seem decent workers. I am surprised how can they make people happy only because of their own enthusiasm. What differs NSW from other indie promotions is that they have characters with their unique gimmicks. They are a part of European Wrestling Alliances and I hope it means something. Ilya Malkin works hard to make wrestling popular in Russia. Colt Cabana, DJ Z and Facade were in Russia and they all enjoyed experience. The one wrestler that stands out in NSW roster is Akela. For me he is like Russian AJ Styles."
