[2.0] "The Story of the No Limit Soldiers is an interesting one to say the least. It was supposed to be this hip, young, rap-oriented group led by Master P. It was supposed to bring hip-hop into wrestling and give Swoll (Master P's cousin) a wrestling career. They were portrayed as faces but did heelish things which turned the WCW fanbase around on them. The matches weren't too bad per say...They usually ranged from basic to sometimes really good. Weird creative decisions held this faction down and it was quietly retired. [*]"

[1.0] "Normally I would give a rating like this zero comment, but this was a complete waste of Brad Armstrong, Konnan, and REY MYSTERIO that it isn't even funny. 4x4, Swoll, and Chase Tatum were either too green for TV or shouldn't have been in the ring in the first place, and Master P and the "hootie hoo" stuff was extremely annoying. A rare part of Rey's career that should be best forgotten."

[1.0] "A weak attempt at a celeb tie-in with rapper Master P as founder, the No Limit Soldiers were a slapdash group with little for the fans to get behind. Konnan served as a good mouthpiece, though his act was wearing thin in WCW at this point, and Mysterio worked as the most prominent member of the team. The rest, though, was a weak lineup - Teddy "4x4" Reade couldn't do much past serving as a bodyguard, and the rest of the team - Brad Armstrong (the most talented member besides Mysterio), Chase Tatum and Swoll - were just there to serve as warm bodies. With so little to get behind, is it any wonder the crowd immediately turned on them in favor of their intended antagonists, the West Texas Rednecks?"
