Best Of The Best VI

[5.0] "This is a really long show so imma keep it as breif as I can. First 4 matches were pretty sick. I love the fast pace flippy shit so I was the perfect target audience for those. The two tag matches that followed wernt so good, and id say are pretty bad. That'd weird Cheech and Cloudy match really broke down and not in a good way. It really looked like amature hour. The semi finals were all good except the B-Boy vs Austin Aries match. Those two did not have good chemistry together on this night. The best of the semi finals was the amazing bout between Ruckus vs Christopher Daniels. BLKOUT vs Dragon and Necro was the brawl I wanted it to be. A couple sweet spots in here and is another match worth a watch. Cloudy/Niles was just a match that exited. Idk whatta say about this match other then brutal looking finish with the chairs. Bishop and Kight against the H8 Club was pretty brutal. Nick Gage getting dropkick off the top rope just barely hitting a table will live in my mind rent free the next week or so. The finals was really fuckin good and has a strong argument for match of the night. So after winning the tournament Ruckus is tired as shit and obviously forgets about the deal he made with Chris Hero earlier in the night so obviously perfect time for Hero to cash in. He does and you think Ruckus actually has some hope due to how long it's going for. But nope Hero wins in what I thought was a ultimate mega heel moment for him in CZW. Surprisingly I didn't hate the convoluted way they got to this ending of the show. After that Generation Next comes out it looks like Ruckus is gonna get beat down again but then Christopher Daniels makes the save. Or so it seemed like untill Daniels beats up Ruckus and hits a Angel Wings through the trophy before getting chaced out the ring by the rest of BLKOUT cementing in stone that the ROH vs CZW feud is far from over. Not gonna lie there's tons of enjoyable things here but due to how long it was the show started to feel draining. Not the most consistent card czw has put out either but it was just a fine show. Also hats off to the guys that had to drive to the ROH show in NJ after this."

[8.0] "The first match was decent if unspectacular, the second match had crisp action and Roderick Strong establishing himself as a big antagonist while Claudio Castagnoli basked in his newfound popularity, composing a whole package that went down smoothly while accomplishing a lot, the third match was very short and serves to clean up a bit of trash in the brackets, the fourth match has a big time feeling (and would have felt bigger if CZW didn? t continuously screw up their booking of the CZW Junior Heavyweight Championship), they wrestled a cool match with the most suspense yet and a shocking result that sets up the most anticipated match of the night. Aries/B-Boy was pretty awful with Austin Aries doing his best to carry an atrophied and unmotivated B-Boy in vain, while the crowd had trouble caring about somebody until late in the match. Roderick/Claudio was a very good match, feeling substantial with a dense workrate that felt heavily satisfying. Sabian/Sydal was a step below but still enjoyable, with Sabian showcasing more of his technical skills and getting a huge submission victory here. Ruckus/Christopher was much less spectacular than other matches, but remains a joy to watch, with its moderate pace building intrigue until the last second and giving a huge notch in the champion? s belt. The Tournament Finals had an awesome lineup, but they started it very timidly, with the first 10 minutes meaning nothing at all, but when they started wrestling earnestly, it became very fun and exciting, with intrigue on the way the match would end, and ultimately Ruckus prevailed and finally won the tournament he has sought off for 5 years. The CZW vs ROH concept is very cool, and the wrestlers came in and worked hard to tell that simple story. The journey of Ruckus finally winning the tournament was awesome, making this a very memorable show."
