Extreme Rising World Title Tournament

[8.0] "A pretty good tournament all things considered. Former World Champions like Rhino, Sabu and Homicide helped add some credibility to the "World" aspect of this title and this was back when Sabu could still pull off enough of his key spots to remain entertaining. Rhino as the "final" Extreme champion doing the honours to a reinvigorated Stevie Richards was a good story. Ultimately Extreme Rising was run by a carny and it couldn't be sustained but it really wasn't all bad. It wouldn't be the most innovative promotion but it did a good job of getting some of the uncontracted ECW guys who could still do enough back together while that was still possible."
