This year is nothing different pushed by Vince Mcmahon over guys like Dean Ambrose and Cesaro who have more potential than him. WWE needs to reconsider that Roman Reigns maybe is not the guy who should be the face of the company, in the Wrestlemania of this year he would be booed like the last year at least they should make a triple threat with Dean ambrose because if he faces Triple H in a singles match he will be booed over him."

This latest spot that was done to create sympathy for the guy, i. e. taking him out of the Royal Rumble for over twenty minutes, I actually enjoyed because I got just over twenty minutes of the Rumble match without Roman Reigns. I'm a huge fan of Dean Ambrose but when he's thrown into tag action with the guy, I don't even watch these matches. I simply can't stand him because he always "wrestles" the same match, he's not enjoyable at all and boring as hell. He executes his five moves of doom the correct way, I suppose, but he's got no feeling for storytelling at all. And on top of that, WWE let him talk on and on and on that's not even funny any more. Yes, Vince McMahon might write his promos but he wouldn't be much better in his own words. I don't really get what exactly Vince sees in him but he doesn't want to fail again like he did with Lex Luger, so we'll have to take Reigns or simply avoid watching him, like I do. I already think about FastLane in horror because I'll have to watch this match because of Dean Ambrose and because of its importance for WM. Ambrose will get the pin, there's no doubt about it but at least Ambrose goes against him this time."

All those matches achieved 4 stars with Dave Meltzer’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter. For three specials in a row, he was the match of the night! There’s plenty to criticise about Reigns, but his in-ring portfolio this year is as good as anyone in the locker room."

He is an amazing worker he carried Big Show to an amazing match. He is a great high flyer for his size. He is a decent technician. He is an amazing brawler. He has an awesome gimmick. People think he is bad but I think he is amazing. Roman Reigns has done cool things and he can prove the doubters wrong by putting on amazing performances."

[5.0] "I don't think that its too late for Reigns to change how his character is portrayed. Ok the majority will agree that Reigns isn't exactly a good wrestler and that his mic skills is awful especially back in 2015 when his promo was based off Looney Tunes. But with the way his gimmick is going is being forced towards the audience. The direction he's going, Reigns will be digging in way too far to the point where it'll be difficult to try to reinvent himself on how he'll do. The fact that Vince, is still obsessed with looks and appearance of Reigns is concerning. There's no way to improve as a face/babyface especially if he's still getting criticized. At this rate, he needs to act as an antagonizing character."

These words sums up exactly how I feel about Roman Reigns and how I'm going to rate him. There is really no wrestler with a greater gap than Reigns. Let's start off by the way I watch wrestling. I'm a fan smart, so I cheer for the stories and the whole product, which means the wrestlers I cheer are the ones who, in my opinion (and not only), makes the whole product better. Roman Reigns isn't one of them, and the fact he is supposed to be the top guy and the face of the company, well, it really bugs me. As I said, I'm a fan smart, but when I watch the matches I don't count the suplexes or anything like that. I actually just become a mark and cheer for the wrestler I want, either because storyline wise would make sense or because I just like him so much that I want him to win. Reigns is probably the only wrestler who doesn't make me this effect, and instead to make me watch it like a mark, I watch it like a smart fan and I just can't stop to think how inadeguate, artificial and, yeah, fake he is and looks. He's just everything against the suspension of disbelief. I mean, I don't even hate him, I don't really hate any wrestler in particular. I just feel totally apathy towards him and, trust me, I even tried many times to feel some sorta of sympathetic, I just couldn't. Unlike Cena, who were someone I enjoyed to boo despite knowing that, unlike Reigns, he's actually good, I don't even care about Reigns. I'm not even mad about his mega super push anymore. I just don't care anymore. I feel totally apathy. I would say his first world title win was one of the most anticlimatic and worst in general. In the ring he is mediocre at best and his promos absolutely sucks."

It's honestly scary. Take that, and add the fact that his promos are horrible and he's the top face of the company now? Him? It's not going to work, it'll never work and WWE need to either give up on him or continue to face the backlash."
