[10.0] "My favourite wrestler of all time, AJ Styles, has done an unbelievable amount of tremendous work in several companies. His in-ring skill is my idea of wrestling perfection, with a flawless and iconic moveset, the ability to wrestle just about any match style, the capacity to carry a match, and a willingness to put others over without his status being diminished for it. He's also incredibly underrated on the mic. Also, he was arguably the greatest leader of Bullet Club, the best faction in wrestling history. I don't know what else to say other than he's the GOAT."

[10.0] "I think AJ Styles is easily one of the best pro wrestlers of the modern era. I didn't watch much of his TNA work but I was familiar with him and really became more accustomed to him when he signed with WWE. Great mix of technical wrestling and high flying ability but is a good enough worker to where he can be both without being a spot monkey. When he signed with the WWE, i initially doubted he could succeed at that stage but still somehow he was able to get even better as the years wore on. I'm a big fan of his match against Brock at Survivor Series 2017, I also thought he brought out a side of Cena that proved that Cena had the ability to improve as a worker but just chose not to, I also loved anytime he mixed it up with Daniel Bryan and just tore the house down. I can't say enough about AJ, he's a guy that you can put anywhere on the card and has the ability to succeed, he can elevate talent and is giving in also being able to put guys over. Also seems like a great guy outside the ring"

[10.0] "What does one say? One the best athletes to ever step into a wrestling ring, Styles spent many years as the measuring stick for the American Junior style. Usually good enough on the mic and could be very entertaining when he was in his element. His impact (no pun intended) was a little hampered by the long tenure at TNA, but Styles is rightly remembered as one of pro wrestling's legends."

Watching anything from him is fascinating, and especially his evolution as a wrestler over the years as you go through his career from and indie standout to one of to then THE face of TNA ever since the company's Inception for about 11 years or so, his world beating run in NJPW that gave him such a different edge, and a more or less satisfying run in WWE that showed he was still the guy. Sad he retired, but as of now, what a great way to go out and leave such a legacy behind."

And he managed to earn praise from a name like John Cena, who called him "undoubtedly the best wrestler in the world." In short, he's the greatest of all time. GOAT"

[10.0] "AJ is golden standard for modern wrestlers. It's sad that now we gotta talk about his career in past tense, but he really accomplished so much that most of wrestlers can only dream about having a career like AJ. If he was a slightly better talker, he would really be ideal wrestler. 9.5/10"

[10.0] "He never lost it and I mean that. Even in his last year where he was telling us "he lost it" he never really did. AJ was always a star, he was able to make TNA HIS company at such a young age because of how insanely good he was. He was one of the first guys who whenever he climbed the top rope he would pull out the CRAZIEST most ATHLETIC wrestling you will ever see and he was still able to do that while basically pushing 50 years old. The Phenomenal One isn't just a nickname it's AJ's entire motive he lived by for his whole career. No matter what match AJ was in he was still always the phenom who stood out because he was prepared to do ANYTHING, not many men were ready to do the stuff he did. AJ doesn't lie when he says this was the house he built because he revolutionized the wrestling we see today. He was able to make wrestling new and something never seen before and was able to always make you tune in no matter what. He made sure he was always at that level for us, and that really shows his passion. He made sure he was never washed and always regarded as one of the best for good reason. His enthusiasm, his love and passion for this sport, inspired most wrestlers today, and they will tell you that. One of the best to ever do it, and he deserves a whole garden of flowers for the stuff he did."

[9.0] "AJ Styles is the king of the 9/10 match. Other than the triple threat match in TNA I personally don't think he has any other 10/10 matches but he does have a plethora of 9/10 matches. Don't get me wrong, AJ is ALL TIME GREAT. He had phenomenal runs in TNA, NJPW, and WWE. If you're building a wrestler from the ground up he is the prototype. He has a cool move-set, he's strong, athletic, and is great with his in-ring storytelling. He was never the best on the mic but it's hard to dock him for that when he was so good at everything else. He also just seems like a nice and genuine guy where no one has anything bad to say about him. That's very rare in this industry and that has to count for something."

[10.0] "I didn't grow up watching people like the Rock, Undertaker, Stone Cold or Hulk Hogan. I started watching WWE in late 2013 and I can safely say AJ Styles is my second favorite of all time only behind Cena. This guy is just so great at everything. First off his in ring ability is top tier. He consistently has good to amazing matches. He does have a few slip ups like I thought his match with Logan Paul at mania was mid but more often than not he delivers absolute bangers. Also in the ring, I feel like he's never gassed and is always moving. He's 48 years old and he still wrestles so good. Doing the 450 at that age is crazy. As for the other categories he's also great. He's such a great promo worker. He has great charisma. He can tell stories. People actually care about him whether it's the real life crowd or the IWC. This guy truly is the entire package. It really hurt seeing him retire."

[10.0] "As far as best in ring worker of this generation is concerned it's between him and Danielson for me. He's one of the best to ever step foot in the ring. Can do all the high spots, work technically on the mat and can throw hands believeably despite his size. Not a strong promo, but good enough and has some natural charisma. Had a fantastic career and I'm glad he was able to make it to the WWE and prove he not only belonged, but was better than most already there."

I was looking forward to maybe seeing him wrestle some matches at AEW, NJPW or even TNA, but I'm not mad at all that he have really retired. [10.0] "Well today basically confirmed what I didn't want to believe but one of my all time favorite wrestlers has left the business. Where to even begin well when I was a kid and I stumbled upon TNA this man was one of the first guys who caught my attention and introduced me to a whole other level of wrestling that I hadn't seen up till tha point in my young life I was around 7 when I started watching tna. I followed his career till the day he left TNA and for a few years there I stopped watching wrestling as a whole up until 2021. Got back in touch with wrestling and while I wasn't a fan of what they had Aj doing from around 21-23 his 2024 resurgence into being one of the best damn wrestlers in the world solidified his status as one of my top 3-5 favorite wrestlers of all time. Thank you Aj you are truly phenomenal and I'll miss watching you perform."

A phenomenal wrestler and WWE will not feel the same now that he is retired."

Carried TNA on his back for a decade, then came over to WWE and carried Smackdown for the back half of the 2010s decade. Had some of my favorite matches ever with the likes of Cena, Samoa Joe, Angle, Christopher Daniels, Lesnar, Abyss, Jeff Hardy, Daniel Bryan/Bryan Danielson, the list goes on, even got the most out of laughable workers like Jinder and James Ellsworth. Glad to see he's starting to get the respect from casual fans now as the legend he truly is. Early TNA Asylum era AJ is still by far my favorite version of him. Edit: Back here to just pay respect to one of my favorite wrestlers of all time. Was always a reason to keep watching WWE during some really bad years, and always gave every match and storyline his all. I can't think of any wrestler that deserves a 10 more than AJ."

[10.0] "He is MY G.O.A.T. He is greater than The Phenomenal One. Has had a career just 3 days younger than I am at the time of writing this, and he was one of the two guys who really got me into and loving professional wrestling. Shame he has retired and a bigger shame I only ever got to see him perform two times (in 2009 & 2010)."

[10.0] "He is the greatest in ring wrestler I have ever seen. He's also great on the mic and could make a match with anyone look like a 5 star match. Despite at the end of his career he has put up absolute classics, and the most recent with nakamura should be counted as one to. It's a shame that Vince sold the bag with him vs Nakamura in mania 34. It could have been one of the greatest matches of all time. It's sad to see Aj go but it's time. I will always remember him as one of the best to ever do it. I will certainly tell my kids in 10 years about him."

[10.0] "I think it's important to remember some context around AJ's career. He constantly found himself in locker rooms of favoured and established talent, time and time again he reinvented himself to immense success. When people think about his era in TNA, they think of his matches with Samoa Joe and Christopher Daniels. Not Booker T, not even Sting or Hogan or Jeff Hardy - he was Mr TNA when it felt like the company didn't want him to be. After he left, indie wrestling was in a boom period, he took over the most over faction and took it to new heights and flourished in ROH. It was also still incredibly rare for foreigners to succeed in Japan and at that time, Tanahashi, Okada, Naito, Nakamura were all in their primes. Though you could also point to wrestlers like the Young Bucks who contributed to the change in tide, he would become world champion and main event the Tokyo Dome making way for the likes of Kenny Omega and ZSJ to do the same. Finally, WWE at a time when they were desperate for new stars. In 2016 John Cena was still full time, Randy Orton and Daniel Bryan were constantly in the main event when available and The Shield, while destined for the top spot, were taking time to develop, Roman especially. Time and time again new stars like Bray Wyatt and a little later, Strowman, Corbin and even Jinder Mahal were desirable foils yet struggled to get over. Within his first year, he became world champion and later did so for over a year which was very rare at the time. I don't think it took longer than his first night to be over with the fans. From X division to heavyweight, he kept an explosive style that led to a career that is up there for the greatest ever."

[6.0] "I've never been able to get into any of the stories involving AJ. I find his mic work to be boring and corny. That being said, I do find him to be a very impressive in ring performer. It's unfortunate that every other aspect of his work takes away from the fact that he's fantastic in the ring. Unfortunately pro wrestling is so much more than what happens after the bell rings."

He also has a great wrestling attire and is pretty decent on the mic. Styles should have one more world title run or an Intercontinental Championship run. It's sad that he's retiring this year, so enjoy him while he's still here. Easily a 10."

He truly lives up to his nickname of Phenomenal."

From his time in TNA to classics in Japan and then his run in WWE, he thrived everywhere. Hopefully, we see him in AEW as well, having some of the dream matches before he retires."

AJ has thrived in every company he's been part of, consistently delivering great matches and feuds. There's a reason he's become a champion everywhere he's gone -- his success comes from pure dedication and hard work."

Yes, i know he ain't the best on the mic, but he is decent enough with his southern accent. Even today, he moves like he is in his late 20's. AJ's best rivals were Christopher Daniels .Samoa Joe, John Cena, Sting, Kurt Angle. His contributions for the X-Division are noteworthy and whenever someone mentions TNA, AJ Styles is the first name that pops up. Unbelievable Wrestler EDIT: I was not very familiar with his NJPW run before writing this comment so I checked out a lot of his matches and I have to say what was a little hesitant 10 is now a strong 10. His NJPW run is his best in my opinion. His in ring psychology improved and his character work was way better than anything in TNA. As the leader of the Bullet Club, AJ was somewhat cocky, arrogant and brash but backed all of that up in the ring and gave some classic matches with the likes of Okada, Ibushi, Nakamura, Suzuki and Tanahashi."
