[7.0] "As a performer, Jack Gallagher had a really unique style that stood out--his technical work, strikes, and character as the 'Extraordinary Gentleman' were a great fit for 205 Live. He wasn't the flashiest, but he had a strong identity and solid in-ring fundamentals. It's a shame how everything ended, but judging purely by the work he put in during his peak, especially in the Cruiserweight Classic and early WWE run, he was definitely a bright spot on an underrated roster."

[6.0] "I watched a good amount of 205 Live, and, while I generally and genuinely enjoyed Gallagher's gimmick and work, it's quite a stretch to rate him higher than Cedric Alexander or Tony Nese, let alone Drew Gulak or Buddy Matthews! . Those 4 had and deserved (well, in Ali's case, deserved) title runs, and, frankly, Gallagher was never that guy."

[6.0] "He's a perfectly decent wrestler but does not stand out to me in any discernable way. He's definitely technically sound and certainly knows his way around the ring but outside of that he does not possess any notable mic skills or character work for me to rate him above a 6."

[5.0] "Well, he certainly doesn't look like most of the other talents. He's got the old school image down and while never likely to be at the top of the heap in a place like the WWE, he is a great addition for a cruiserweight division."

[9.0] "Gallagher is definitely the best thing that has happened to the long-suffering cruiserweight division. Jack tried out a comedic role even earlier, he showed entertaining matches in Britain, especially in PROGRESS Wrestling, but I really fell in love with the extraordinary gentleman in WWE. An elegant British with a memorable look, a characteristic accent and an interesting attribute in the form of an umbrella, which he used more than once as a weapon. Jack was a bright spot in the division and occasionally was even the only one to whom the audience had at least some reaction. He had good comedy matches, his headbutts and front dropkick, he used as a finisher, was really very effectively. I'm not a big fan of the technical style of wrestling, but it's worth admitting that after heel-turn, when he left comedy, he still remained good, and his matches were interesting to watch - for example, he had some amazing battles with Chad Gable, as well as good tag team matches in alliance with Brian Kendrick, with which they looked very organic. After his last repacking, I think he has lost ground a little. In any case, for me, Gentleman Jack Gallagher is one of the wrestlers thanks to whom I watched WWE in 2016-2017, he attracted attention and was great as entertainer."

[8.0] "I love this guy. Great techniker, great core strengh, great headbutts and a pretty decent mic work. He worked well as a Face but was better as a Heel. I see how The Gentelman gimmick could have grown stale, but it's a shame we didn't get to see much of the new Jack, also a shame that he was not given a chance for a title run. I hope that one day he can show us some more of his unique fighting style in WWE, and maybe get a midcard title or two."

[4.0] "bland and forgettable, I don't know why he as such a high rating compared to others, he made a decent impression at first but then he became some generic heel"

[6.0] "Technically solid, but lacking any charisma or proper ring psychology. Jack's a good example of a guy who was not treated correctly by the WWE, but to be honest, I don't think he was going to get any massively further than what he ended up. He's not no real character outside of a lame comedy face gimmick, and a boring heel persona that dulls the crowd and fails to get anything out of them. Being paired up with Brian Kendrick (a guy who can, you know, actually get over and is a solid heel) doesn't do him any favours."

[6.0] "I really liked Gallagher's unique look & out-of-the-box fighting style when I was first introduced to him. But in typical WWE fashion, over the years they have managed to accentuate his negatives & hide his positives. Instead of him being WWE's version of ZSJ, they turned him into a clown with the umbrella, then a misused heel who wore street clothes, and now he's pretty much a resident jobber on 205 Live. Really unfortunate because there was something there from the start. But now if I ever see him on my television screen, I know it's a skippable moment."

[8.0] "A great technical wrestler with charisma so bright I couldn't have imagined him as a heel when I first saw him. However, now that he's a heel, I see that he could have some solid run, if he had better booking (or if 205 live in general had a better booking)."

[5.0] "Gallagher's promising heel turn has really grown stale and he barely urges a reaction from the 205 Live crowd. The show needs a strong heel character right now to propel the faces but since teaming with Kendrick he hasn't shined that much."

[9.0] "A very good wrestler and overall entertaining guy, Gallagher is proof that the smaller men can be first class stars. He's my favorite wrestler in the 205 division."

[8.0] "Such a joy to watch and a fresh talent to have in the WWE. I love just about everything about this guys character and his style. He may never be a main eventer in WWE, but wrestling is a variety show, and Gentleman Jack is exactly the kind of variety I'm looking for."

[9.0] "Jack is a class act. His gimmick harks back to the best elements of the old World of Sport shows; showmanship, technical skills and a wiry tough-to-beat intensity. But there's more to him and he comes across very studious, very convincing and very much a lover of his artform. He'd probably also put me in an upper keylock for calling it an artform. I've seen him live three times and a couple of times on DVD and never failed to be impressed. I took a mate to see him work last night and didn't pre-hype anyone; he came away raving about Jack above everyone, despite him only being in a multi-man tag. He shines through."

[10.0] "Jack is as good an in-ring performer as I've seen, which considering his age, is a grand statement. His connection to the crowd through his wrestling ability and showmanship is top notch."

[8.0] "I've seen a few of his matches in the UK and he was quite good, heard he's doing a great job in Japan too. He started out with a terrible gimmick and a poor physique but real improved himself over the past few years. And he gets a bonus point for being a redhead."
