[6.0] "First of all, I don't hate Cena, but I don't like him either. We all know the blame should be on WWE Creative Team for how he is booked. I find it outrageously idiotic how the fans, especially Indians and my own country, Indonesians, considered him (and Roman Reigns) really strong only because of his consecutive winning against several superstars. I'm pretty sure their heart would be broken to pieces once they learn how WWE booked Cena to never lose or to lose only in a dirty way, OR to win at least THREE times after being defeated clean ONCE. Nevertheless, John Cena really IS strong to the point people like Chris Masters called him stiff, but strong and big does not make you a winner in a wrestling match, just like how small Chris Jericho outwrestled big Goldberg. Talking about wrestling, I won't say Cena can't wrestle, he CAN wrestle. But compared to the likes of Kurt Angle, Bret Hart, Daniel Bryan, AJ Styles, Cesaro, Brock Lesnar, or Seth Rollins, his ring skill is nothing. And finally, his personality which suits his babyface, but it has become too stale and he seems to know it and is like he is shoving it to people's throat. P. s. I wonder if he could perform just like his ridiculous booking if he ever wrestled in Japan and becomes big there."

[5.0] "This is a rewrite review of John Cena. He is the franchise player and debuted in 2002. It's quite impressive on how this man grew and become the face of WWE. Without any denial, he did change things around and was one of the most talked about guy in professional wrestling. He does have great moments and matches with pretty much anyone and he isn't bad in the ring as plenty makes him out to be. However, the upside to this is that he has gotten stale throughout his 10 years+ dominance and he did play a lot of politics and took plenty of new comers' momentums. This is when Cena started going from entertaining to a nuisance. In a good way, he does get the crowd going whether people are cheering or booing at him. One big desirable thing, he has plenty of passion towards WWE and the business that should be respected. I admit that there are moments I've been rooting for Cena and can't help when he does win I do mark out. So, however you want to look at him, Cena is a big controversial figure in wrestling for as long as we knew him."

He's gold on the mic, and he has a great ability to invest people in his feuds. Like him or hate him, you're always gonna be paying attention."

Without Cena, the product dies. He wins in the ring because he lines McMahon`s pockets like no other superstar. If it were your favorite sellin out arenas they would have an 80% win record."

[8.0] "This is not the rating I would have given John Cena even a few years ago. But as I think was the case for many people, his run as United States Champion reminded me why he has earned his place at the top of the WWE roster. Yes, he CAN wrestle. He's a fantastic promo, and is capable of making even midcard stars look excellent. He has a long list of excellent matches against a huge variety of opponents. Is his act a bit stale? Yes, for sure, but Ric Flair's gimmick barely changed over a multi-decade career and it didn't need to, either. What's stale for me about John Cena is his booking, not his style, and his brief move to the midcard was exactly the change of pace I'd long wanted. I can't give Cena a 10, though, or even a 9 -- he does have some definite flaws. While he's shaken up his moveset recently, his matches adhere a bit too closely for my tastes to the typical WWE main-event style. Lots of finishing moves, lots of kickouts, and most importantly way too much no-selling for my tastes. Still, Cena is a huge asset to the product, and he's re-earned my respect in spades."

[7.0] "John Cena will go down as one of the biggest stars in wrestling history, and perhaps the most polarizing one. There are people who think that he is a legitimate WOAT candidate, people who think that he cannot wrestle. Then there are people who think that he is one of the very best wrestlers in the world. I personally am in somewhere between those 2. I think that sometimes his match formula can be annoying and produce some bad matches, but at the same time, it can also totally rock & produce some absolute classics. He sure is a fine top face, very charismatic & can go on the mic with the best of 'em."

[8.0] "Cena is a bit of a tough one to rate for me. On the one hand, I understand and, to a degree, even agree with many of the top criticisms leveled against him - his act is stale beyond belief, and even considering he is the "face of the company, " he's still been far overpushed as WWE has often seemed to be terrified of making him look anything but invincible. I would also rate him below the previous "faces of the WWE" - I don't think Cena has the raw in-ring ability and everyman appeal of a Steve Austin, nor the crowd psychology or overwhelming charisma of a Hulk Hogan. On the other hand, though, taken on his own merits, Cena is indeed a solid in-ring performer set apart by his uncanny strength, he is a very strong talker, has achieved the type of mainstream crossover appeal that WWE craves in their headliners, and is a good big-match player, often pulling out good, memorable matches on the big stage. It's easy to see why he has the position he does, even if how he's been presented while there has often been less than ideal."

[9.0] "Say what you want about John Cena, but in that ring he always delivers, you can go back and watch just about any match of his you want and you will see that for yourself. My problem with Cena is the fact that for over 10 years now his character has been watered down to be a soft, teddy bear, kid-friendly character when he is supposed to be a rough, in your face thug (Doctor of Thuganomics), it's not his fault, he can only do what he is told, but it does suck. So on that note I cannot give him a perfect 10."
