[7.0] "In the ring I believe Ivelisse is a very good wrestler. She stood out most on Lucha Underground but her matches are generally good wherever she wrestles. She is able to build a relationship with the fans. Her biggest issue is that she seems to burn bridges wherever she goes thus hurting her ability to work in major promotions. She is talented so I hope she can get the opportunity again."

[8.0] "Ivelisse, for all the rumors about her, is really quite a talented worker. I first saw her on NXT as Sofia Cortez, but it wasn't until Lucha Underground that I saw what she was capable of. Working mostly with men in the promotion, she stood out as a seriously tough woman, but I think her behind-the-scenes attitude has derailed her career a bit."

"By all means Ivelisse should've been a star by now. Very talented in the ring, a good look and really cool heelish swagger. But like Tessa Blanchard she's sadly let her lack of professionalism derail any serious momentum in her career. Squandering a spot in AEW (and they were pushing her for something big after she won that tag tournament) after the no-selling debacle against Thunder Rosa and then claiming she did nothing wrong. Going back further she got dropped from WWE though I'd put that down more to Bill DeMott being a grade A prick. She continues to get booked on the indie scene, particularly Shine which appears to be her ceiling for now. Unlikely AEW will be calling her again and even Impact haven't booked her in years. My guess is either NWA gives her a shot given the amount of problematic wrestlers they book, or Women of Wrestling if they're looking for more talent."
ArghTwentySix wrote on 01.02.2022:
"Average in the ring but all reports of her backstage (or in the case of her match with Thunder Rosa, in-ring) attitude and lack of professionalism takes away any good she might bring. She doesn't do anything better than anyone else can do that makes dealing with the headache worth the investment. Quit watching Shine because of her consistent push at the top of the card."

[3.0] "Ivelisse is way too talented to not be a huge success in professional wrestling, but here we are, wuth Ivelisse fired from yet another company. Her unprofessional behaviour and willingness to blame everybody else begpre herself, in my opinion as a psychology student, borders on self-destructive narcissism. 3 points for pure talent, reduced a great deal by a problematic personality."
Domrak wrote on 02.04.2021:

[6.0] "Without the attitude issues that are rumoured, I feel Ivelisse has always been a solid wrestler. In LU, the writing, and intergender wrestling really helped to cover any issues wrestlers may have, . Ivelisse is a wrestler that benefitted from that. She's popular because of her heart, and really great feuds, but out of the matches she was in, I can't recall any that stand out because of her exclusively"

[6.0] "Ivelisse has come a long way since Tough Enough, but with several bumps in the way. She shined most of all during her time in Lucha Underground & found her niche as a member of the trios champions. I feel like she could still improve in the ring, but she seems to have the passion & desire to further those skills. Since LU closed its doors, I'm surprised she has not made more waves in the thriving indie scene. I think the rating she has here is quite high, but I still find her to be a solid worker."

[4.0] "Ivelisse is a great wrestler, but I simply cannot give her a higher rating because I've had the unfortunate occurrence happen to me, I met Ivelisse, then better known as Sofia Cortez. Not a humble person, very arrogant indeed, but her wrestling still talks for itself, and it's pretty great. I only wish to know if she's had changed her ways since then."

Her toughness is also extremely impressive, fighting through a broken foot and still taking the fight to her opponents. I see plenty of big things for her in the future."
Damian wrote on 02.05.2015:
[10.0] "One of the best female competitors in the world right now. It's a shame that both WWE and TNA decided not to push her. Her work in Lucha Underground as a heel is really compelling."
DanTalksRasslin wrote on 26.04.2015:
[8.0] "Great all-around talent. Ivelisse has a good all-around skill set with lots of speed-based move as well as some deceptive power, a great look and is quite charismatic. She has proven herself in the ring against both female and male opponents. I've known about her for awhile - of course from Tough Enough and her TNA tryout, but also some of her indy stuff and saw her live a couple of times for FWE - and I'm glad she's finally getting a real shot on a nationally-televised level with Lucha Underground."

[9.0] "At first when I saw her on Tough Enough and at FCW/NXT I didnt really think she was anything special. Fast forward a few years and I come across her work on Lucha Underground and the indies and now I realize how badly WWE dropped the ball with her by not giving time to improve, she is really one of the top female talents out there right now in the ring and on the mic and she is still very young."
