[10.0] "She's one of the greatest and the nicest women wrestlers in the world and of her generation. She even had the longest career out of all the women wrestlers she wrestled along with in her era. It was kinda nice seeing her making appearences sometimes in the WWE after her retirement. What a 38 year career she's had. Her in-ring work is impeckable. She took crazy amount of bumps. Truly an icon of the business."

[7.0] "Just about every women at the top in her era was a terrible person and worked as hard as they could to put down everyone else, Mae was always there to give back to the business. With one of perhaps the longest careers ever, she consistently was a known name, welcomed in her position, and was able to put over countless people along the way. In her later years, she created timeless moments that people still watch to this day. While her early career is mostly lost to time, there's no doubting her legacy and mark on the business."

[10.0] "Even though it's not easy to find her matches from her active in-ring career, she still left her mark in wrestling purely on some of the insane bumps she used to take back in the Attitude Era. I wasn't a fan of every angle she was involved in, but she she did have a lot of memorable funny moments and I still can't believe how brutal it looked when she took crazy bumps from 3 Minute Warning and taking a big table spot TWICE from Bubba Ray Dudley because she thought they went easy on her the first time so they do a big spot off the stage the following week! What a tough granny she was."

[10.0] "While Moolah and Buddy Lee made the world a worse place for all women, there was Mae Young. Unlike Moolah, Young did contribute to wrestling, and Young sought to make the world a better place for women. She's easily the strongest and most reckless woman I've ever seen. Whenever she did anything to men, she demanded that they have no care or protection. Truly, she wasn't afraid of anything. She was never subjugated by the macho roles of her time, and that should never be forgotten. Long live the queen."

[10.0] "Just her having a match with Mildred Burke (albeit all 25 loses) and seeing her in action is just a treat in itself. Mae was the GOAT! She put over a lot of talent over the years. I remember Bubba saying he was very hesitant when he was told he had to put Mae through a table but she reassured him! That is a SUPER Granny for you. I kinda wish Mae had gotten to be around till she was 100 like she wanted, a 2020s crowd would have absolutely gone nuts for Mae, she would have been far and wide the last wrestler from the pioneer age. Rest in peace, Mae"

[10.0] "Thats right- shes getting a 10. Not just for the single greatest most insane bump in wrestling history (off the stage powerbomb through the table) at the tender age of 82, but for being a groundbreaking female in wrestling from the beginning. The woman was beyond a legend and unforgettable character, and even in her elderly years she exuded a toughness and a charisma that just made her one if a kind. Hell she was regularly taking bumps in her eighties and she was notorious for telling the boys to let her have its or shed be pissed. The fact she survived the attitude era defies logic. Mae Young will forever be wrestlings badass grandma and she didnt need to hold onto the womens championship for 35 years to earn that respect."

[5.0] "Unlike Moolah, she could and would take bumps, including an insane table shot at age 82 from the dudley boys. By and large dull and not very good by any modern standard benefits greatly in terms of her legacy vs her contemporary Moolah for both being a better wrestler and not having run a human trafficking ring. Allegedly she was a very good wrestler in her younger years, but television hadn't been invented yet (not kidding, she's that old). While she seems saintly compared to Moolah, she wasn't exactly the greatest person either having been Moolah's long-time companion - it's likely she was aware of some things. She also used to go out on "dates" with men, preferably married, and mug them knowing full well it was unlikely a man would 1) admit to getting beat up by a female 2) file a police report if they were cheating on their wife. She got arrested doing it in 1949 that's documented in a local newspaper and it's mentioned as happening a number of other times too by wrestlers of her era. Extra point for inventing the bronco buster finisher, which is still in wide use."

[10.0] "Trailblazer in woman's wrestling at least in my eyes. She made a division that was appalling to watch at times enjoyable. She could do it all, too. She was very good in ring in her early career and in her later life (which I have seen more of) she transitioned into a comedic character. Sh e was still able to take a bump though. Bubba Ray Duddley sending her through a table is one of my favorite moments ever. RIP to the legend."

[9.0] "Amazing, I don't know what to write and I wasn't expecting to write something, because that's Mae Young, that's one of the funniest wrestlers of all time that bumped at 77 yrs old WAY MORE than some guys did on their peak. Look up WrestleMania 2000, her with Kurt Angle, Hardcore Holly, Bubba Ray Dudley. And she was also way better than the Fabolous Moolah, both as a human and as a worker"

[10.0] "By no means a terrific in-ring athlete, she is a legend of the business. Debuting in 1939 until her last match in 2010. Footage of any stuff prior to the Attutude Era is practically non-existent but what an icon!"

[5.0] "I can get that she's a legend in women's wrestling and a true pioneer. But I didn't see all of that, I just saw her perform in WWE, and those performances weren't very good. Still, she gets a few points out of respect for her career."

[10.0] "She took a powerbomb off of the Raw stage from Bubba Ray Dudley and told another wrestler to lay in his strikes and stop being a pussy (Bob Holly, I think). In 2000 (at the age of 76), she wrestled on a MAW card in Wisconsin, which featured one of the first matches, if not THE first match, between CM Punk and Colt Cabana (I'm pretty sure that it was the first match between them on tape). For these things alone, she gets a 10! None of this includes her longevity in the wrestling business and the fact that she was a trailblazer of women's wrestling in the US. She is a true legend!"

[10.0] "I? m really disappointed in the rating on this one. Mae was a pioneer of women? s wrestling and gets a 10 just based on her historical significance. what she was willing to do in the late 90? s for nothing other than our entertainment is nothing short of amazing. Imagine your 70 plus year old grandma getting put through a table by a psychotic bubba ray dudley and you get the idea of who Mae young was. I also loved, as an immature teenager, the angle where mark henry got her pregnant. Rest In Peace Mae!"

[9.0] "Mae Young was one of the bedrock figures of women's wrestling in North America. Prior to Mae Young, women's pro wrestling barely existed. She was a mainstay for more than six decades, and even well into her seventies was willing to take bumps to help put other people over. Yeah, her stuff with Mark Henry was silly and in poor taste, but so was a lot of the Attitude Era stuff. Regardless, her dedication to the wrestling business is undeniable."

[10.0] "Mae Young literally spent 65 years of her life wrestling and devoted it to entertaining the fans around the world. Even in her late 70's or early 80's she went through a table for the entertainment of those watching. She is an icon and has all the respect in the world from me. She was just simply amazing and is a female wrestler who I look up to. Anybody who wrestles for over 65 years which in itself is the age of an ELDER deserves a 10/10 and amazing respect. Rest well , Mae."

[10.0] "For her time, Mae Young was a hell of an in-ring worker. Leaps and bounds better than Moolah. Also, unlike Moolah, Mae was willing to take bumps and put people over. I can't say enough good things about Mae giving back to the industry and the younger talents."

[10.0] "I can easily give her a 10/10. She has given the wrestling audience a ton of great memories and moments from her long seventy plus years in the wrestling business. Wrestling, sleeping with Mark Henry, giving birth to a hand, or anything else she did she made it enjoyable. She was definitely a pioneer for womens wrestling."

[8.0] "Mae Young gets a 5 and The Fabulous Moolah gets an 8? Are y'all serious? Mae Young was a great wrestler. She was one of the most famous women wrestlers in her heyday, and when she was young, she could hold her own in a ring. But besides these accomplishments, Mae was someone who deeply loved the wrestling business. She didn't have a problem being powerbombed through a table at the age of 82, because that's how much she loved wrestling and wanted the fans to have a good show! And, to cap it all of, she was a wonderful person no one ever had anything bad to say about. She is the exact opposite of her friend The Fabulous Moolah, and I wish more people would recognize that and give her the respect she deserves for all her hard work and dedication. RIP Mae. You shall be missed."
