He can work well as a sympathetic comedic face or the cranky old man trying to tear down the goofy face characters (Tough Enough guys, Joey Ryan, Grado). He's always been a very hard working in-ring worker who's been able to consistently bring something new to the game throughout his lifetime in wrestling. Al has always been in fantastic shape and right now he's bigger and stronger than ever. I'm not sure when he'll give it all up, but then again I'm not sure we're ready for that."

Still, he aggressively seized every opportunity he was given, from the silly and comedic to the scraps of more serious work he got to do. He is still doing good work to this day in fact, both backstage and once in awhile onscreen with TNA."

His students are all over the wrestling world, and they're all solid as a rock. Not the type of thing you'd expect from a guy whose valet was a head."

[8.0] "I only rate him so low because he never had a chance to show what he could really do. Anyone I've ever known that worked with Al has praised his talent and his work ethic. You saw a little of it every time he got in the ring (but rarely more than a little). He was labeled a goofball and that's what stuck. Still, martial arts talent (to the extent that when Dan Severn trained for the UFC, he asked Al to help him improve his striking ability) and a gift for the sell (or anti-sell, as occasionally occurred) that could put anybody over, even his own students. He even had superior mic skills to many main eventers. Again, you only ever heard this when he was cutting some silly promo. If he'd ever been taken seriously, he'd have been amazing."

JMTheBadOne wrote on 12.12.2014:
[6.0] "Though Al Snow essentially made a career out of being the guy who could give a good match, he was weirdly entertaining during his time in the WWF as part of the J. O. B. Squad (as well as integral part of the Hardcore division. ) Currently trains and works for TNA as a road agent whenever he isn't wrestling on the indie scene (if not the occasional TNA match. )"
