[10.0] "I have nothing but good things to say about MASADA. He is a brilliant technical wrestler, and he combines that great technical ability with calculated and precise savagery. He does not rely too heavily on one or the other, instead striking a delicate balance between technical wrestling and violence. Not only is he a monster in the ring, he's had great longevity. 23 years and still in good condition is a rarity in the world of deathmatch. MASADA clearly knows how to pace himself smartly to maintain his health. His love and dedication to his craft is clear in every match. All of these together make him deserving of a 10."

"One of the most underrated workers of the past 20 years. Hugely influential in the deathmatch scene, introducing skewers, gusset plates and the syringe through the face spot, for better or for worse. Despite the stigma (I understand the argument), Masada can go with the best of 'em when he's healthy and motivated. He's old school, someone who would fit in with guys like Brodie, Hansen, Vader, etc if he had the opportunity. Tough as nails and makes wrestling look real, which is nearly a lost art these days. Truly a legend and unsung hero of the underground."

[10.0] "I've always appreciated MASADA because of that killer match he did against Thumbtack Jack in CZW TOD Rewind (that second one from 2009), dude's insane as a deathmatch guy -- huge, powerful, brutal. Surprised me a lot he was booked at my local non-deathmatch indie; he was great in-ring, absolute powerhouse, looked spectacular. (No bleeding! Lol) I chatted a little with him and got a photo too and he's absolutely delightful, super nice guy. MASADA rules!"

[7.0] "One of only a handful of deathmatch wrestlers I can stand who has come onto the scene over the last 2 decades and change. He's a guy like Necro Butcher who I feel could've actually existed in the sport 30+ years ago, and back then he would never have been allowed to have the majority of the silly, unnecessary, and really off-putting gimmick matches that he's obviously associated with. A decent worker though, who doesn't need that crap to get a reaction, but generally relies on it. Just because something elicits a reaction from the crowd doesn't mean that it makes sense in the context of a wrestling match and belongs there. His extremely high rating on here makes zero sense, especially when you take into account the fact that someone like Kevin Sullivan has less than a 5 rating lol. Mind boggling. I'm pretty much positive that MASADA himself would show Sullivan the respect he deserves and rate him much higher. Like I said, he is one of the very few modern American deathmatch wrestlers who I don't dismiss outright, as I have seen ample evidence that MASADA is capable of working a real match too"

[10.0] "Masada is one of the best hybrid wrestlers around. His clashes with Drake Younger and Jun Kasai prove how good he is both in technical skill and ferocity. I will also say he popularized the skewered in deathmatch, I don't know anyone who was doing that before him."

[10.0] "MASADA is one of the unsung heroes of hardcore wrestling. He is crazy yet can tell a story. As someone said below me, he is not just one of those hardcore guys who just do crazy spots with no psychology or story. He also has a badass look. He is an awesome well rounded wrestler"

[10.0] "As far as wrestling goes, Masada can't be topped by probably anyone today. Everything he does looks brutal, but is relatively safer than what some of the other deathmatch guys are doing, and he has a great look."

You can tell he actually knows a little more than how to swing a light tube & he can actually tell a story. He has an impressive look. Still hard for me to really be sold on him completely though. Head & shoulders better than most of the deathmatch cronies."

[8.0] "What makes MASADA so damn good is that while he is primarily a death match guy like Ambrose and Younger were, the fact is he can really wrestle. and the best part is, hes actually awesome. a great, great brawler who can withstand ridiculous amounts of punishment, MASADA can put forward a great match and have you really invested in what happens in it. and it doesn't hurt that he was trained by HB-SHIZZLE HIMSELF."
Perko27 wrote on 29.09.2014:
[10.0] "I'm my opinion MASADA is the greatest hybrid wrestler in the world today. His normal match's are amazing just like his deathmatches. For his size, he can move very quickly and do some really risky high-risk moves such as a 450 splash or a moonsault. He went on an amazing run in CZW going undefeated for over 2 years, capturing both, the UVU and CZW World Championships and also going on to win a record 3 Tornament of Deaths and being the first man to win it back to back."
