[6.0] "While Davey Boy Smith Jr. has the size and strength to be a desirable singles competitor, he's found a home (and does best) as a tag specialist at the higher levels of wrestling. Coming up through Calgary as a legitimate member of the Hart family and wrestling for the fabled Stampede Wrestling, Smith's titular accomplishments started coming in while he was still a teenager wrestling in Canada. Though he was afforded a few dark matches early on by the WWE, it wouldn't be until he toured a bit (including stops in New Japan and All Star wrestling) before catching on full time. After earning the FCW Tag titles with his cousin-in-law Tyson Kidd, both earned the WWE tag titles as part of The Hart Dynasty. For whichever reason following the dissolution of The Hart Dynasty, Smith was forced to the lower end of the card prior to being released by the WWE. Following this, Smith returned to the indie scene to hone his skills before catching on with New Japan. In New Japan, Smith found new life alongside partner Lance Archer - Earning the IWGP and NWA World Tag Team Titles as Suzuki-gun's Killer Elite Squad. K. E. S. followed the rest of Suzuki-gun into invading NOAH, where the duo has since earned the GHC Tag Team titles as well. Though there's still time in Smith's career for a singles run, there's no shame in him working to become a bonafide top-level tag specialist, either."

[10.0] "Davey Boy Smith Jr. is in my opinion one of the best heavyweight gaijins to regularly wrestle for NJPW, behind only AJ Styles and Karl Anderson. It's amazing how far he's come from his days in the Hart Dynasty (where he was still pretty good). Currently a tag team wrestler in Japan with Lance Archer, but with several strong showings in singles matches including a win over Hiroshi Tanahashi that shows at least a little faith in him from the company's management. At only 29 years old, I think the sky is still the limit for Davey Boy Smith Jr. BOP!"

[4.0] "David Hart Smith is a rare case where a big mammoth like him lacked charisma from the crowd. David Hart Smith started his WWE career in 2007 (as D. H. Smith) before being caught with drug problems ultimately causing him to wrestle on Sunday Night Heat. Since then, he was the muscle to Tyson Kidd and Natalya before being left go in 2011. Smith has been open with how WWE regulates matches and how you can't do certain moves. While I can understand that, it's safe to say that David had the charisma of a rock and would of never gotten over in the first place, despite WWE's policies."

[10.0] "Smith in my opinion is one of the most talented, and wasted that the WWE had an opportunity to have. Not only is he a total powerhouse like his father was, but he is also a mat technician, like the Hart family taught him to be. His lack of charisma was his biggest downfall in the US. A power/technician based wrestler in the US needs charisma, and in NEw Japan he has found it, along with a huge following."
HammertonWay wrote on 21.07.2013:
[7.0] "I was saddened when he was released by the WWE, but looking at him now, it could have very well been a godsend. New Japan welcomed him back and he took his chance and exploded. At only 26 he has much potential, proving that at Invasion Attack. Whether as a tag team or singles competitor, he will continue to make his old man proud. When people ask who was the breakout wrestler of the Hart Dynasty, I think of Harry Smith!"
