[4.0] "Todd Shane and his twin brother Mike can be best described as better-than-average indie tag wrestlers who never got a decent break at the major level (most likely due to gimmicks that were ill-received or ill-conceived. ) After breaking into the indies as the Wentworth Twins, the Shane Twins began to dominate NWA Florida's tag scene (and were the last NWA World Tag Champions prior to seeing the titles vacated for NWA-TNA. ) Yet when they got the call to NWA-TNA, they were given the ridiculously embarrassing "Johnsons" gimmick that saw them wrestle as anthropomorphic penises. Needless to say, it wasn't much longer until The Shane Twins left TNA for the WWE. While they found some success in the WWE's developmental system as The Gymini (winning the DSW Tag Team Championship), they didn't accomplish anything of note at the major level and have since been derided by the WWE as being "boring. " Following their release from the WWE, the Shane Twins wrestled in the indies for a couple of years before retiring. In addition to his achievements with his brother, Todd Shane has also earned the NWA Florida Heavyweight Championship. If half-grades could be awarded, I'd give Todd a 4. 5."

[2.0] "The Shane Twins were a well-traveled team with the size and muscle to make them suited to being enforcer-type characters, but didn't have the in-ring ability to become much more than that. Their most-visible roles were short and largely forgettable runs in WWE as the Gymini, a fitness-themed team managed by Simon Dean, and in early TNA as the Johnsons, the less said about which the better."
