[5.0] "Decent enough X-Division competitor in TNA, didn't mind his matches and felt he had a good look. Not a show stealer or standout but not bad at all."

[7.0] "Wilde is one of those under-the-radar performers whose versatility and energy often go underappreciated. Before arriving in WWE, he made a name for himself on the independent scene and in Impact Wrestling as DJZ, known for his flashy gear, electric speed, and high-risk offense. In WWE, he found a more defined place within Legado del Fantasma, where he's contributed as a reliable and dynamic tag team specialist. Wilde's in-ring style is heavily influenced by lucha libre and cruiserweight traditions, combining rapid movement with creative offense. He brings intensity and fluidity to his matches, which often helps elevate multi-man or tag scenarios. His ability to adapt to different partners and match types makes him a valuable utility player, even if he's rarely in the spotlight. His work in Legado shows he's capable of delivering in both heel and face roles, and he adds personality to the group with his expressive mannerisms and flair. However, Wilde has yet to receive a real breakout moment in WWE. He's been consistent, but not showcased. While he has the talent to deliver exciting matches, the company hasn't pushed him in a way that highlights his full potential. With the right platform, he could surprise a lot of people. For now, he remains a solid mid-card performer whose strength lies in making others look good while still being exciting in his own right"

[7.0] "Joaquin Wilde's in ring work impresses me one way or the other. Similar to his tag partner, he never really stands out a whole lot due to him being more so a mid to lower card tag star under LWO, but his in ring work impresses me."

[8.0] "I've been watching this guy for the better part of 15 or so years. I wasn't privileged to see him start out, but I was front and center for Zema Ion. He was grating as hell, and I guess that was the point, because he was a heel. The weird gear, the boilerplate heel stuff, but then he wrestled Jesse Sorensen. That was probably the beginning of a career littered with highs and lows. When he became DJZ, I thought he was dead in the water. But then he started doing "BURR BURR BA BURR" and something stuck, while his ring work got damn near elite. The tag team with Andrew Everett should've been huge, and he saw another unfortunate incident first hand (Sexy Star). But during that run, he immersed himself in lucha libre, and I'd say is probably one of the best "gringo" practitioners of the art. Broke his wrist, got two internal injuries back to back and then got that WWE deal. Unfortunately, he's be relegated to being a supporting guy most of his time there, but he always finds a new way to surprise me. That super springboard plancha, the Twitter feud with Kofi Kingston that translated to a pretty solid TV feud. I realize that Cagematch is often a place where fans who want to dig deeper come to learn, so I just want it to be known that the comments below do NOT capture the specialness of Joaquin Wilde/DJZ/Zema Ion/Shiima Xion. That Yung Go Hard is just getting started."

What he lacks, perhaps, is a little extra charisma or more developed acting to make him stand out from the crowd. Moreover, he doesn't benefit much from his membership of various Latino clans, which doesn't allow him to develop his own character or have high-stakes matches."

He has multiple innovative move and he is one of the most charismatic wrestler in indie right now. The man almost retired with horrific injury but he comeback to become better and stronger."

A very fluid, dynamic and ring savvy competitor who seems reckless at times. Not a fan of his high flying style but nevertheless he is entertaining in his own way."

[7.0] "DJ Z has a good if standard high-flying/X-Division ring style and a lot of personality and swagger to make his obnoxious heel character work. His time with the Bro Mans added an extra dimension to their tag team act but made Zema himself essentially their fall guy, but now that he's on his own he could become a player in the X-Division again."

[8.0] "One of the absolute best X division wrestlers ever in the history of TNA. And certainly one of the most unique looking competitors in the sport. California born, West Virginia raised, Shiima got to show off his skills on an international scale early in AAA, but soon he came to TNA. They made one of their rare good decisions in hiring him. He is pure entertainment. Innovative, quick, stylish. Trouble is, until the unfortunate Jessy Sorensen incident, he was lacking in mic skills. But he used that accident to turn himself into a major heel (he was at first just a heel, but now he was a MAJOR one. ) Then a tumor in his bladder threatened his career and his life. Against all odds, he made a comeback-as a wrestling DJ! He now had a great fresh new gimmick and made a great sidekick/whipping boy to the admittedly entertaining BroMans tag team. He's sort of "around, " at the moment. Not doing anything special. He'd be a welcome addition to GFW because he is a sweet guy with a nasty aftertaste."

[8.0] "Underrated talent that deserves more of a spotlight and praise. Has good charisma in addition to good versatility in his offense both on the mat and in the air that he gets to showcase more when he is not a heel. With that said, he has good personality as a heel. He has a unique look that makes him standout. Unfortunately, TNA has not given him a lot of chance to succeed despite being a good hand on the roster. Hopefully, if he leaves TNA, a promotion can make good use of him like an ROH because he has the tools to succeed if given the ball to run with."

TAWPTierJustin wrote on 21.03.2014:
[10.0] "I thought Zema Ion deserved to be on the TNA roster ever since he had that great 4-way match that Austin Aries won at Destination X 2011. When he was a babyface for a while at the start of his TNA run, I thought Zema was obviously a good worker in the ring but I wasn't feeling his persona cause it didn't really feel like he had one, but then when he turned heel and we finally saw personality in him, I became a fan of his! And just when you thought he couldn't get any better as a heel, he comes back to TNA after a few months of being off television and changes his character to being a DJ for The BroMans and he not only made himself an even better, more charismatic, and more obnoxious bad guy, but he also helped both Robbie E and Jessie Godderz become better characters as a tag team than they were before Zema got added to the mix. It really shows how unbelievably talented Zema Ion is when he's an incredible performer in the ring and a much better heel than a babyface!"

[8.0] "Zema Ion is pretty much the full package. He has the ability, the charisma, and the look of a champion. He is a hard worker and moves amazingly well. However, he has one small problem. He telegraphs moves far too often in matches. He goes to sell moves far too early before the move is hit. He has a bright future, and in time, that problem will definitely go away."
