[8.0] "He has strength accolades for days, which is obviously awesome. He knows how to sell his cajones off, something sorely missed among many workers these days. His ability to work from underneath is absolutely excellent. He emotes extraordinarily well, with various spots finding him yelling before a big move to great effect. While the gimmick flagrantly walks the comedic knife edge of being able to be taken seriously, I feel like the Tate Twins' involvement was kind of jumping the shark. I'm really enjoying his current work without them."

[10.0] "Before his back injury I would genuinely argue Dalton Castle was Top 10 active wrestlers in the world. A total package presented unlike any other, just oozing charisma and could get any crowd invested while technically sound and shockingly strong; an absolute delight that was one of the highlights of 2010s ROH and any indie he graced with his presence. That is to say, after his back injury I still think he's incredible. That charisma never left him, and with enough years working a little gingerly he's gotten to a point where he can still really go even pushing 40. Putting him with the Outrunners might be one of AEW's most inspired booking choices in years. Also, it helps to have an Upstate NY wrestler to rep the area that isn't 2020s Bobby Fish."

[8.0] "Great grappler, good technical wrestler, solid all around offense. Very charismatic with a very entertaining entrance. Also very good in the more comedic-style matches, much like RJ City. He's comedic without trying too hard. It's a shame he got rejected from WWE for wearing flip flops. He's legitimately very good."

[8.0] "An extremely entertaining wrestler who really channeled the original Gorgeous George. It's a shame his back injury limited what he could do in the ring."

[8.0] "I went to an AEW show a few years back that he was on the Dark taping beforehand, and honestly he was one of the most memorable parts of the show. The guy is simply a lot of fun."

[8.0] "Dalton Castle is fantastic. I think his timing is a little off in terms of when he came up in the business, because if he was 10 years younger he may have had a run with the AEW title, he's just that damn charismatic, his character work is great, and he used to be able to GO. I really enjoy him and hope he heels up as well as he can, because he was made for TV"

[6.0] "Dalton Castle is the perfect small doses mid card guy. I am not sure I ever need to see him every single week but I usually enjoy myself when he does pop up on a show I am watching. He got unlucky with injuries when he finally breaking out which was a shame. The man has got enough charisma and likability that means he will always be over to a certain extent."

[5.0] "Maybe I haven't seen the right matches from Castle, but definitely not a fan of what I've seen. One of the worst gimmicks I've ever seen with The Boys, his work is okay and I've liked when he went for a suplex-based style (which hasn't been the majority). His presence on screen just makes me uncomfortable for some reason."

[8.0] "Dalton Castle is the total package: super charismatic, great promos, good in the ring (though his back injury took a big toll, alas...), a memorable gimmick, and knows how to get over no matter where he is or what he's doing. Don't let the pageantry fool you, this guy can really go when he wants to. It's a shame he isn't featured in a bigger role; Dalton deserves the world. Super unique wrestler, and incredibly underrated for years."

[10.0] "Legitimately my favorite act in all of pro wrestling and I don't understand why he's not featured weekly on AEW TV. The absolute total package of a wrestling persona: Completely over the top in the best way possible, loud and brash and confident but stopping just short of being obnoxious, works perfectly as both a face and a heel without having to change much, can work at any level of the card, has every nuance nailed down. The pageantry, the insane ad-libbed promos during his entrance, his interactions with The Boys, they all gel together perfectly to form one of the most unique and enjoyable gimmicks ever. Castle's also incredibly impressive in the ring: A master technician and freakishly strong. It's so entertaining watching Castle just deadlift 300-pound dudes and toss them over his head. Like I said, Dalton Castle (and The Boys) should be appearing consistently on AEW TV, and not being wasted as an occasional Jobber to the Stars."

[9.0] "Charisma machine. He's not an awesome wrestling individual but his suplexes are clean and his charisma is all over the place. He knows how to get the crowd red hot, and speaking about sports entertainment he is one of the bests. They need to give him a title in AEW."

[9.0] "As sad as I am to have only found out about this guy, I'm pleased I found him! A thoroughly captivating entertainer. He seems a bit clunky in the ring, at 36 this isn't a surprise but it's only mildly noticeable. His presence is amazing, as his ring attire. His ring walk on ROH is a highlight for me each week."

[9.0] "One of the most unique and entertaining gimmicks in the industry. Castle is fantastic on the mic and has the build and athleticism to go up against anyone. Excited to see how Khan books him in ROH/AEW moving forward. Awesome talent. High mid carder as a single. Great in the Trios division with the Boys."

[9.0] "To me, he's a top 5 promo in the game right now and far more athletic than he leads on. He knows his character very well and does an amazing job portraying it. he can be over the top but I think that's what makes him special. Hopefully he can have another showcase soon"

"8. 0. I? m being generous with this because I like the heel turn back to his old flamboyant ways. His current deal with Isom and Dak is okay, but I really think a prolonged feud with EC3 would bring out elements in both characters that would make them both much more compelling moving forward."

[6.0] "Maybe Dalton is injured? A few years ago I would have given him a 8 or 9. He just doesn't seem the same since his title run. Looks like his back is hurt."

[6.0] "He's a good midcard talent, but good is about as far as he gets. His matches are always solid but rarely entertaining and never great. His character work and promos are of highly variable quality: he's had flashes of brilliance over the years but most of the time he comes off as a one time act who overstayed his welcome. And when he was ROH heavyweight champion in 2018 all his limits surfaced and he hasn't recovered since. Perhaps the present disaster will allow him to either work on developing his character or reinvent himself because he hasn't been going anywhere for a while."

[7.0] "Dalton Castle is a good wrestler, in the ring he is good, his matches are nice, but they will hardly reach the MOTYC level, his character is also very interesting, and he has some really cool moves."

And whilst that gimmick has its place, that place is not on top of the card as ROH world champion. It was an embarrassment to see ROH go so hard with a guy who reeks of being a WWE opening match act."

[9.0] "Dalton Castle is one of the most unique performers in pro wrestling today. As a character, his rockstar, non-masculine gimmick is a breath of fresh air and helps him stand out. His promos, from the comedic, to the serious, are filled with passion. As a wrestler, there are few who have his work ethic (he's a champion with back injuries and a hand recovering from being broken), and he's a technical wrestling savant. I'm not judging him based on his matches this past year, since he's working injured, and that's affecting his matches (that being said, still good matches nonetheless)."

[8.0] "ROH finally puts their title on somebody they themselves have built up and he doesn't even get treated like the 3rd most important thing in the promotion. Dalton is incredible and still isn't given enough respect. His wrestling is solid, he's one of the most charismatic men in all of wrestling, and he knows how to carry himself. He's the first guy since Morishima won the title that I have felt excited for an ROH champion. Hopefully they start presenting him as the top guy instead of just being known as the BTE promotion"

[10.0] "A consummate showman with an ultra-flamboyant persona, Castle backs it up in the ring with a high level of amateur wrestling-infused technical prowess and a surprising power base for a man of his size, shown in moves like his deadlift German suplex. Well-traveled in the Northeastern indy scene as well as Chikara (under his Ashley Remington persona), Castle appeared in ROH in the 2015 Top Prospect Tournament and, despite being positioned low in the tournament's rankings, quickly caught on with the often-jaded ROH crowd with his infectious energy and unusual charisma, and went on to a well-done year-long feud with Silas Young and later won the Six-Man Tag Title with his Boys. An all-around talent for whom the sky is the limit. And of course it's always cool to see a local guy make it in the business (Castle, under that name, used to be a DJ for Q103 rock radio here in Albany)."

[10.0] "One of my favorite wrestlers today. He's that all-round talent you clamor to watch a wrestling show or you yearn for in your wrestling promotion. With his background in amateur wrestling, Castle's ability in squared circle is unquestionably on elite level. He equips it with his creativity in broadening his "Party Peacock" gimmick. If there's no obstacle, he should be the ROH World Champion by mid 2017 and tour more to Japan."

[10.0] "This is the future star of ROH like CM Punk, Daniel Bryan, Austin Aries, Samoa Joe, Roderick Strong, Nigel Mcguinness or Tyler Black, He is the most charismatic guy in ROH, his gimmick is fabulous and continues getting better his skillls in ring besides of his mic skills. His 2016 have been spectacular. I LOVE THIS GUY!"

[9.0] "Dalton Castle is one of the few people I look at and think, there gonna be the future of wrestling. He is very unique and has the ability to suprise you with his great character and ring work."

He has the ability to get over with any crowd, which is something that is seldom in the business today. Despite being mistreated in TNA and ROH somewhat, he still has great matches and has fantastic storytelling. Castle in two words- massive potential."

He is also constantly over with crowds everywhere. You would have to be a real Dodo bird not to recognize Dalton's amazing storytelling. He also makes everything look so effortless it makes other wrestlers eat there hearts out with jealousy. A real star that comes around every once in a blue moon."

[10.0] "One of the most underrated talents in the world today, but that soon may change if ROH gives him the push he deserves. One of those rare true total packages in wrestling: The look, the shoot credentials, the raw strength, the selling, the promos, the CHARISMA, you bet your ass he's got the Charisma. On a 10-point scale of charisma, Dalton Castle lies at around a 17. The man can make any gimmick work with his innate physical charisma that translate perfectly into both his actual wrestling and his mic work. Now, everybody who's seen him in Chikara or ROH loves him for his character work, but he's also great in the ring, and I think ROH is slowly starting to let him show that, with great outings against the likes of Silas Young, Adam Cole, and Hirooki Goto, even if they were in defeat. Castle is a top prospect in the entire wrestling industry right now, and whoever is first to push him to the moon will reap the benefits."

Castle is a flamboyant character like nothing I've ever seen before, he sounds like a pirate when he shouts out words, he has such awesome charisma beyond belief, he's funny, he's very entertaining (no question about that), and the guy is a great wrestler too on top of all that! Castle moves around very well in the ring, his moves look so crisp and so perfect, he has great strength, great innovation! The first time I watched the whole package of Dalton Castle, I became a fan of him instantly! He is that damn good!"
