[3.0] "No disrespect to the dead or anything like that, but Duncum Jr was just plain bad from the numerous AJPW matches and tapes that I've seen, all the way to the start to the finish of his run there. I'm not sure if he turns a leaf in WCW and becomes suddenly a lot better (to my knowledge he doesn't) but that doesn't really help the fact that the vast majority of his career are stinkers. I'll give him credit: for a guy his size to be attempting top rope moves and dives to the outside, that takes a lot of guts in and of itself, and he wasn't atrocious; sticking him in a tag match with more competent workers typically meant he was fine, albeit the worst out of everyone. That said, he botched a fair bit and had a knack for landing some awkward bumps at times which looked like they actually legit hurt the other person he was with. No semblance of psychology or any real technique beyond the basics and even some of the greatest of all time like Stan Hansen or Kawada could get this guy to a legit solid match, which that alone is bad enough. Added in with everything else, I'm confident enough to grade him pretty low here given his consistent rate of dragging matches down."
