[9.0] "The two big matches were very good, ADR/Christian was solid and there was some really average stuff too."

[9.0] "I thought this was excellent all throughout, a couple of mid but entertaining matches and some truly special ones. The two main events are just killer Brock v Punk is incredible and I put it right there with the other similar match Brock vs Guerrero, just stellar work from these guys and in terms of storyline Heyman also adds quite a bit of drama. Cena vs Brian was excellent also and was a bit bummed by the bittersweet ending, but knowing how it all turned out for Brian at the end it doesn't really matter. Don't understand why Wyatt's match against Kane is so low rated here, it has its flaws but was good overall. A great Summerslam all in all, one of the best PPVs of this era definitely, 9/10."

[10.0] "WWE SummerSlam (2013) may be a little overrated because it has a good amount of filler and the closing angle giving birth to The Authority, but there was still some decent stuff in it to help the good outweigh the bad more, both Punk Vs Lesnar and Cena Vs Bryan were both masterclasses and post match still did some great story building for Bryan going into WrestleMania 30. Overall WWE SummerSlam (2013) is a really spectacualr show and one of the best SummerSlams ever."

[7.0] "Very fun show to come back and watch years later. The card had 2 match of the year calibre matches but there was also a few that werent very good or were simply filler. Lesnar vs Punk and the main event/ending carries this show."

[8.0] "Very good. The top matches all clicked. The ending left a sour feeling for most fans but it all worked out in the end. In fact, Bryan would go on to have an even bigger moment at WM 30 although we almost lost it. CM Punk Vs Brock Lesnar was excellent and my favourite WWE match of the year. In fact, it is my favourite Summer Slam match of all time. The World Heavyweight Championship match was good but I was really rooting for Christian. The rest of the card was also solid. All in all, It was a very good show. MOTN: Punk Vs Lesnar"

[10.0] "This is a classic ppv and one of the best summerslam this ppv is just fantastic you have a ok opener in the ring of fire match , you have an okay match between cody rhodes and sandow, they you have a very good world heavyweight title match an all time great match in brock lesnar vs cm punk and an all time great match in john cena vs daniel bryan this is a fantastic show."

[6.0] "Veeeeeery nearly a 7/10, the two highlight matches are of course really great but lesser on rewatch for me. Del Rio vs Christian is also somehow pretty good but the rest of the show is not. Ring of Fire was ass, Cody/Sandow is whatever, womens match and the mixed tag are indeed there."

[9.0] "A somewhat plodding opener and a little too much filler stops this getting a 10, but there's no way a card with Lesnar/Punk, Cena/Bryan and Christian/Del Rio is getting less than a 9 from me."

[9.0] "One of the best SummerSlam events ever. Brock Lesnar vs. CM Punk and Daniel Bryan vs. John Cena were both five-star matches, IMO, and Christian showed why he's one of the most underrated wrestlers ever. Held the crowd in the palms of his hands. Some of the other matches were so-so, but I thought Kane vs. Wyatt was an entertaining opener that helped pace us to two of the best matches in WWE history."

[4.0] "Pros: - Brock Lesnar vs CM Punk (match of the night); - Daniel Bryan vs John Cena; - Alberto Del Rio vs Christian Cage; Cons: - Bray Wyatt vs Kane; - match between Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow could last longer; - Natalya Neidhart vs Brie Bella; - match between Dolph Ziggler/Kaitlyn and Big E Langston/AJ Lee also didn't last long; - Triple H and Randy Orton screwing Daniel Bryan; In conclusion, SummerSlam 2013 was a lame show which had just a couple of good matches and a screwing ending that pissed off some fans."

[9.0] "Awesome show. This is my personal favorite Summerslam of all time for sure. Alberto Del Rio vs Christian had a good match for the WHC, really good in my opinion - ***3/4. Brock Lesnar vs CM Punk, OH MY GOD, this was one of the best matches I've ever seen , I think this is Brock Lesnar's best WWE match. How Meltzer only rated it ****1/2 is beyond me - *****. The Main Event was an awesome match between Daniel Bryan vs John Cena for the WWE Title. Great back and forth but not on the same level as Punk vs Lesnar - ****1/2. The rest was just there, to be honest, I wasn't paying 100% to the rest of the show."

[9.0] "The show started out a bit rough, the first two matches were not very good and the ring of fire match completely sucked. After the 2nd bout though this show blasts off. Three very good to excellent matches, two of those being match of the year candidates, a historic title win and an awesome heel turn. Two Thumbs Up"

[10.0] "Outstanding PPV from WWE! The build-up for two main matches (The Best vs. The Beast and Daniel Bryan vs. John Cena) was brilliant. I didn't like the Ring Of Fire match, but I really liked the idea of holding this type of match. Sandow vs. Rhodes was really good for the amount of time they had. The WH Championship match was nice, awesome addition to the PPV. But, hell, Punk-Lesnar and Cena-Bryan are MOTY candidates. Also, the ending of this SummerSlam was classic. All in all, WWE SummerSlam 2013 was an awesome PPV with some memorable moments, one well-wrestled match and two classic battles."

[9.0] "Delivered on the main events which is all you ask.. plus another good World Title match and perfectly acceptable wrestling throughout the card, but I would just start with the second match. Hot ending to the show with big event feel."

[9.0] "Indeed it was an awesome PPV. The 2 main events were both MOTY contenders, (Punk-Lesnar: ****3/4; Cena-Bryan: ****1/2) great match by Christian and Del Rio and another good match from Sandow and Rhodes. Pre-Show and the mixed tag were OK, the womens' match was bad as usual and the opener was at least something special. Probably the best WWE PPV in this year."

[9.0] "Punk/Lesnar - two (actually, make that three) amazing performers telling a perfect story and producing a perfect match in the process (*****). Cena/Bryan - also an amazing match. Cena shows that he CAN wrestle and Bryan makes it easy for him. The sequence of events (Bryan winning, HHH turning, Orton cashing in/turning) was totally predictable. But this didn't make it less awesome (****1/2 for the whole thing). ADR/Christian - another good showing of these two who have great chemistry. Match could have been longer, but still very good (***1/4). The rest of the card was filler, but except for the Brie/Natalya nothing was bad or offensive. I personally would have liked for Rhodes/Sandow to be bit longer and I would have liked Wyatt to be a bit more dominant in his first match. But that's just minor things. Awesome show."
