[8.0] "A great 2013 event from ICW, one of my favorite eras of the company. For this review, I watched this event a second time. Hardly little was bad here, in fact the two that I felt did not help the show were the 6-woman match and Rhia O'Reilly vs Sara. The former looking good but the fast eliminations hurt it, the latter was just boring. Opening match was a great match to start the show. Good action from both men. Viper vs Bette Noire was solid, but not a match worth remembering in the long run. Both women did well but didn't leave me with anything that I feel needs to be talked about. The Bucky Boys vs Fight Club, as well as the Zero-G title match we're both excellent. Good chemistry between all in their respective matches. MOTN is obviously the main event. Good hardcore style match that I would have rated a 5 if it wasn't hard to keep up with everything. The women involved took some sick bumps, including Kay Lee Ray being powerbombed out of the ring and into the crowd! Insane moment from her and Whiplash! The ICW title match, while solid, did not exceed Grado and Lightning's previous bout at Super Smokin' Thunder Bowl, an event which I would love to review of the full event was available. Regardless, it was a good match with an interesting outcome. A very important segment was the BT Gunn/Chris Renfrew segment, which led to their match a couple of shows later. Renfrew being sliced open by scissors has to be seen to appreciate, and gasp at, whichever works. All in all, despite the minor hiccups, this event was great and was worth the second watch."
