[4.0] "A wrestling heave episode of Smoky Mountain Wrestling, with pretty basic, yet solid action. Some good promos, setting things up for the upcoming weeks and a young Jerry Lynn making an appearance. All in all, another entertaining hour of professional wrestling."

[6.0] "Another good show with a couple of solid performances. It was nice to see Hector again, as he's been bringing a whole different style to SMW, even if he botched the top rope Crossbody. Surprisingly, out of all people, the mysterious Rocky Patterson looked impressive in the 6-man tag - though there's barely any info on him anywhere. Dirty White Boy made his debut and looked like a great heel, with Wright as his manager being a perfect fit. Jerry Lynn also showed up to do a decent job putting over Killer Kyle, while the main event was the match of the night, with Horner and Rogers working well together, finally breaking the streak of underwhelming main events."

[5.0] "Meh. Kind of an uneventful show tbh. There were some bright spots though. I kinda liked seeing Hector again even if he participated in his worst match in the promotion so far. I was also incredibly happy to see Jerry Lynn. I didnt even know he was ever in Smoky Mountain. Unfortunately, he got beaten by Killer Kyle. Someone I honestly dont take too seriously. The angles were alright. I now like Ron Wright as a character. Kinda over the Koloffs/Fantastics rivalry tbh. The addition of Jimmy Golden is kinda nice but it doesnt really save it. Finally, i dont like the result of this main event. Youre telling me Tim Horner, probably the worst overall worker in the promotion takes the main event spot? Beating Rip Rodgers at that? One of the most entertaining heels that theyve got? I really dont get it."

"The payoff to the Ron Wright story was decent: he brings in the Dirty White Boy who looks pretty good in the ring and his match looked like a proper fight. Interested to see where that story goes next. Another reasonable show setting up some interest for the following week."

[5.0] "A decent show but the show really started to drop off after the first three matches. Hector Guerrero is fun to watch on this Smoky Mountain; even if my modern or Guerrero standards he's not that smooth. The six-man tag was decent; though I don't think I care for Nikita Koloff lite (Vladimir). Ron Wright was my MVP of the episode, as we learn he has a client, and are introduced to the Dirty White Boy; someone who will become an important figure in Smoky Mountain. Killer Kyle is not that good, though it was cool to see Jerry Lynn. Tim Horner fucking sucks so the main event was pretty boring. Jim Cornette and Bob Armstrong were also good in their roles on this episode."

[6.0] "Cool show. The opener was cool, Hector Guerrero is really agile and has some good moves. The six man tag was fun, a way to put over the Koloffs and Jimmy Golden and to promote next week's main event. I really like how Ron Wright's storyline is evolving, now he is the manager of Dirty White Boy, good wrestler with great punches and nice moves. Nice mic work by both. It was a surpraise to see Jerry Lynn here, he is really good even at his point of his career, good jobber that maked Killer Kyle look powerful. The main event was good, Rip Rogers is a great talent, good seller and has a good heel psychology. I like it. It's not the best show, but it was enjoyable."

[5.0] "2nd filler episode in a row, but still building the angles nicely. Great to see Wright get a wrestler to manage and stick it to Bob Armstrong. Opener I thought was a sloppy enough match, I'd expect more from Hector Guerrero. Next two match just squashes. Last match between Horner vs Rogers was half decent, great psychology from Rip. But they killed any chance of a legitimate feud with a clean pin straight off the bat. Some of the heels really getting quality heat using their mic skills Rogers, Cornette, Mantell and now Dirty White Boy. For 2nd week in a row a filler so drops for me to a 5*"

[6.0] "Guerrero vs. TJ: Perfectly acceptable wrestling and really good for it's time given. Short matches like this really works with Hector as he was fun to watch in the ring. (**) / Koloffs & Golden vs. Undercard geeks: This was fine with a littleogical booking. The Koloffs and Jimmy Golden need to looks strong heading into the six man tag with The Fantastics next week. (*¼) / DWB vs. Nelson: Love the Ron Wright angle. Match was a squash. (¾*) / Lynn vs. Kyle: As you can see here, Lynn has tons of potential, too much to be wasted in a squash like this. (½*) / Honer vs. Rogers: This was better than it had any right to be. I'm glad they were given about 7 mins to work. (**¾) / Overall: We got a surprisingly solid opener in Hector and Travis, the rest were mostly squash to set up future stuffs which is acceptable. While the main event was decent. So we got two surprisingly solid match with one being quite decent. That's good if you ask me. Next week: The Koloffs and Golden vs. The Fantastics and ? ? ? + Cornette's Mystery Tag Team Reveal!"

[5.0] "Perfectly fine but perfectly throwaway. If you slept through this episode you'd miss nothing of import. The main event feud is a comedy bout which overdelivered in that it was actually kinda decent. The limited Killer Kyle is starting to grow on me. The Ron Wright angle seems to be developing into new terrain. Otherwise it was just a spectacle of context-free matches. Not bad, not worth going out of your way for."
