[5.0] "If we're talking about in ring quality of this show then it's below average but can't deny this show being iconic with The Rocks first match in over 7 years and also CM Punk winning the title which would start his iconic 400+ day reigns as WWE Champion"

[5.0] "Not much to get excited about at Survivor Series 2011. Despite its shortcomings, Punk vs. Del Rio is still the most watchable match on a rather mixed card that fell short of expectations, mainly due to the heel team's massive build-up in the main event. If I'm going to put together a one-match event, it has to have some spice. That's not the case here at all, and so the PPV stumbles from one meaningless undercard and midcard match to the next, culminating in a Rock match that everyone wants to see, but which is stuck in a sluggish storyline that doesn't appeal to me. The aforementioned title match, brief phases of the elimination match, and slightly the opener stretch this event to an almost undeserved five points. They got a lot wrong here."

[5.0] "For me this was a bit of a let down show but still had entertaining matches. Mostly everything was between average to below average. Punk vs Del Rio and Dolph vs Morrison were my favorite matches. Rock return match wasn't bad but felt like it dragged for me."

[7.0] "A solid card with the main event obviously getting most of the attention but in my opinion the WWE title match was the match of the night. The woman's match was short but the finish looked really good, the opener was decent and pretty fast paced, and the Survivor Series match was solid with Barrett and Rhodes really looking strong. The main event was the selling point of this show with Cena and Rock teaming, and it was a decent match but nothing really to write home about. 3 star show."

[5.0] "A fine show, but perhaps a tad overrated. The United States and WWE Title matches are both good, and the tag matches are solid, but the remaining two matches are below average. Match 1: 7/10 Match 2: 2/10 Match 3: 6/10 Match 4: 4/10 Match 5: 7/10 Match 6: 6/10 Overall Total: 5.33/10"

[9.0] "Phoenix Vs Torres and Big Show Vs Henry are both bad and Cena and Rock Vs Awesome Truth was decent but too long, but Team Barrett Vs Team Orton is good, Ziggler Vs Morrison is great, Punk Vs Del Rio is fantastic, it had a lot of great moments with the start of Punk's historic 434 day reign as WWE World Champion and Rock's in ring return and the MSG crowd was really hot as per usual. Overall WWE Survivor Series (2011) is an amazing show that's carried by it's hug moments and hot crowd."

[5.0] "While the crowd at MSG was as hot as they always are, the action they were treated to was very hit or miss on this night. Punk starts a historic reign in a solid outing, and Ziggler and Morrison have a match that punch above expectations. The main event tag match, however, was incredibly basic and disappointing. Henry's stock as world champion also fell quite a bit in my opinion after a rather poor performance. This is a fun PPV to watch, but at the same time, nothing about it blew my expectations away, either. A fine show, but with all things considered, fine is about the best I can say as a final result."

[5.0] "Ziggler & Morrison start off the show with a good athletic fast paced match that manages to get the crowd interested, at least for moments. Ryder should've been added to the bout with how over he was though (7/10) Phoenix/Torres is as decent as you could get with that amount of time in Divas era wrestling but nothing great (4/10) Team Barret vs Team Orton was a solid elimination match with some nice moments, but it didn't keep up a strong enough pace, mostly due to Sin Cara getting injured early on (6/10) Big Show/Henry was way too slow and had a crappy finish but could've been worse (4/10) Punk/Del Rio was a good match and I loved Finkel announcing Punk at the start. Don't think it was one of Punk's most memorable matches though even if it was the start of his record setting reign (7/10) Cena/Rock vs Miz/Truth should not have been the Main Event, yes I know it was the Rock's comeback but it felt too much like a random house show attraction. It was pretty good at the start but it was way too long by the end (5/10) Despite the hot crowd and the currently good average score, I think this was a pretty meh show"

[6.0] "Pros: - CM Punk vs Alberto Del Rio (match of the night and had to be the main event instead of another attempt of hogging the spotlight from The Rock with John Cena and them burying their opponents); - Dolph Ziggler vs John Morrison; - Wade Barrett's team vs Randy Orton's team; Cons: - match between Beth Phoenix and Eve Torres was too short; - match between Big Show and Mark Henry ended with a cheap DQ; - John Cena and The Rock buried Awesome Truth; In conclusion, Survivor Series 2011 was an average show where good matches were followed by wasteful ones with a burial in the main event."

[3.0] "I may be in the minority here and i am surprised with the high rating of this show. OK a ppv at MSG with over 16K fans - big deal but the wrestling itself wasn't very good. Opener was really good fast paced match. No surprise when crowd loved ryder who was super over at that time ***1/2 and this was my MOTN. Divas title match was what it was *. Survivor series match was very long but very average at best. Nothing much outstanding happened **1/2. WHC title match was awful. Henry's leg work was laughable and big show completely no sold at all. Prop for him doing the elbow drop though. The ending was all time worst. After that elbow drop spot, henry suddenly did a low blow for a DQ. Just waste of time beyond stupid DUD. WWE title match was quite meh earlier but turned out to be pretty good***1/4. Punk winning was great. ME was exciting at the first few minutes then it went too long with boring face in peril segment. Glad to see rock wrestle and he was the only reason why this didn't get DUD from me. Awesome truth was entertaining on mic but their work in this match was very dull*. Overall not a very good show."

[8.0] "Strong show here and easily one of the better PPVs of 2011. Not on level with Money in the Bank, but still very good. Shows at MGS always have added advantage of a hot crowd and this was no exception. The WWE Title match was fantastic and The Rock was, well The Rock so easily a win here."
