[5.0] "[5.0] I thought the show was reasonably entertaining albeit patchy. I thought the Big Show match was the best of the evening with a unique finish, and then the main event was a reasonable brawl which looked different because of the collapsed ring. I find the style of WWE action around this period really boring - its largely just punches, clotheslines and slams with little to no actual wrestling. Very simplified fare with a focus on doing the big moves like the RKO etc., rather than it looking like a competitive sporting contest. Most of the moves seemed to be delivered with no resistance from the opponent at all, and I find myself zoning out a lot. In terms of commentary around this era its some of the worst I've ever heard. OK, Michael Cole is playing a heel character at this point but its not entertaining its just plain obnoxious. Then you have a muted, face Jerry Lawler and Booker T alongside him, each adding next to nothing. Booker just spouts the most obvious, inane stuff which is almost always preceded with "Am gonna tell you something..", its mind-numbing to listen to."

[6.0] "With the destroyed ring, the event has a certain memorability, at least towards the end, because this image will be remembered for a little longer. However, this PPV doesn't really have a single highlight that could match this memorability, thus confirming the mediocrity of the current event situation. Surprisingly, apart from the Diva match, the highly promoted tag match with Punk and Triple H is pretty lame, although both matches are still just about bearable. This also reveals a subtle strength of Vengeance 2011, because nothing really falls flat mercilessly and every match maintains at least a certain basic level. Due to the exceptional nature of the environment towards the end, this event is probably a tad better than HIAC or NOC, but this is not really reflected in the points given."

[5.0] "Boy, did this card have its ups and downs. There were a lot of strange booking decisions made here, and while I think a lot of these storylines were showing promise, I also think a lot were falling through too. Cena and Alberto had a really impressive match to me that stole the show. Henry and Big Show had a memorable match, and the opening tag match was quite good. The rest of the card was okay to pretty middling, leaving this as a solid but inconsistent experience. I'd honestly really recommend sticking to the title matches here, but you'll find worse PPV's than this one if you decide to watch it entirely."

"One of WWE's more mediocre events of the year. The non-title tag team match was pretty underwhelming considering the talents involved, the Show vs Henry match had a really good finish and was better than expected, and the main event was easily the best match on the card, and the Divas Title match was actually much better than one might expect for a Divas match at the time."

[5.0] "OK PPV. Not a bad match on the card but only the two last matches are worth checking. The opener was fun, US Title match, Divas Match and Orton vs. Cody are adequate. I was expecting more from Sheamus vs. Christian and HHH/Punk vs Awsome Truth, Henry vs. Show was satisfactory with a great finish and the Main Event was match of the night."

[7.0] "I watched this back to back with HITC and I give this one the clear edge. Even with the underwhelming Punk/Triple H vs. Awesome Truth match, I think it has a better Christian/Sheamus match, the Swagger/Ziggler vs Air Boom match is better this time around without a flukey ending, and I liked this main event better if the rating is the same with the triple threat HITC."
