[7.0] "The go-home show for WrestleMania 13, and quite frankly, the only thing that people talk about on this show was the final segment. And I have to say, for very good reason. Bret Hart crashing out after being screwed out of the WWF Title on numerous occasions ultimately planted the seeds for not only his eventual heel turn against Austin (who would turn face at WM), but also a very small glimpse of the eventual beginnings of the Attitude Era."

[8.0] "Live from Syracuse 4 hours North of ECW territory out of an old aircraft hanger the crowd was lit with many signs to start the show. Retro LOD/Road Warriors kicked off RAW with their football gear of spikes, facepaint, and mohawks. Vince is STILL on the mic unfortunately. The Nation of Domination was their opponent with no Ahmed who came in on a prerecorded interview for 15 seconds? Chyna accompanied HHH to face a black guy in a 90s neon green space suit. "She's got a million dollar body with a 10cent face." You can see the face bumps she has from roids. HHH pedigree without releasing the arms was very dangerous. A "Mr McMahon for president sign" made Vince go "O my goodness! " NJ Gov Christine Whitman is now allowing WWF in New Jersey? Mini Goldust vs Mini Vader: Yankee Midget Rasslin. Vince interviewed Gorilla who was live in front of a fence who announced a steel cage match! Bret Hart vs Sycho Sid for the WWF Heavyweight Championship. Bret Hart Promo was, as normal, meh. The Shawn Michaels promo stated he was going to Birmingham to see Dr Andrews; WWF producers showed ~9 females fawning over him in the crowd. Sign: "Turner buys the Nelsons." JR and Jerry the King were great along side Vince at the announce table - could've used less Vince. Bad Arse Billy Gunn beat a local pasty jobber while Ken The Rock Shamrock was with the announce table. Ken gave Billy Gunn a faux ankle lock - then Stone Cold on the JUMBOTRON (1st appearance? ) gave a promo against Shamrock and Bret Hart. The Steel Cage was shown being constructed which only covered just outside the ropes and was just ~9ft high with no top. Stone Cold ran in to close the cage door THEN Taker ran in (WCW? ) Vince yelled "Sid Sid Sid! " as he jumped to the floor for the win - Sid have a Seig Heil fist twice to the crowd. Show went 1:34 without commercials so a 2hr RAW with only 14 min of commercials per hour."

[7.0] "Fine go home show. Main Event was the match of the night. The show had a lot of screwy finishes as expected when multiple people with matches at mania compete. Had a few random squash matches and a random mini match."

[9.0] "Go-home episode of RAW featured all major players. Bret Hart was fantastic. It was a historic first episode since it is the first time that Chyna and HHH are officially featured."

[10.0] "Awesome episode of Raw and it just sets the tone perfectly for what the show was going to be all about going forward! The storytelling is great with Wrestlemania around the corner and it ends with a controversial Sid vs Bret cage match where both of their hated rivals run in to try and help them win. That match is a lot of chaotic fun, but even better was Bret completely losing his shit after the match and the swear filled promo with the cage being taken apart is an iconic Raw moment! The storylines are more prominent than the matches which makes sense on a go-home show, but this does still have solid stuff like HHH v Funk with Chyna's first match as a manager and Bulldog v Vader which had an awesome suplex from Bulldog. Even the mini match was far better than expected because Sagrada Jr. is awesome and does some absolutely insane moves like that dive off the stage! This also had Billy Gunn challenge Ken Shamrock and then regret it afterwards. It's a great show full of iconic and memorable moments where the crowd was just hot for everything!"

[8.0] "This was a cool raw with a fire ending. This is planting so many seeds that I saw come to fruition back in the day. I'm glad I get a chance to see how things took form. The finish with the undertaker, Steve Austin, sid, Bret Hart, and Shawn Michaels was such a cool way to lead into WrestleMania. These five guys carried 97 and 98 with Sid to a lesser extent. It's amazing that Vince was so desperate to shed contracts given where he was a year later."

[7.0] "Good go home Raw for WM 13. The ending in particularly was really well done. The cage match and the post match brawl was really good. Bret's profanity laced tirade was a big step in the product going TV 14."

[9.0] "This really was an excellent RAW. Feels like WWF is starting to up its game to match the currently superior WCW product. Everything in the episode built perfectly to the upcoming wrestlemania, HBK returning for an excellent promo and a solid main event that had a lot on the line for mania and ending with the 2 biggest rivalries going to into mania clashing"

[8.0] "Very Good episode. everything flows well and builds up to mania well. Some Pretty Good matches and the final 20 minutes are wonderful."

[9.0] "Very interesting show especially for last Raw before WrestleMania. All matches in undercard except from squashes are good. Main event is very overbooked but it made this match rather better than worse. Promo from Bret Hart at the end is great and brawl is epic."

[7.0] "Trying to make the card of Wrestlemania 13 one week before it does not add value to the card. The Steel Cage match is good because Steve Austin and The Undertaker are involved. British Bulldog vs Vader is a good match, but the ending kills the hype. The other matches are just here to fill the time for the show. There is also the return of Shawn Michaels, one of the shortest retirements of all time."

[10.0] "Chyna has officially been named after weeks of just being referred to as "that amazing looking woman". Flash Funk was a terrible gimmick as a face so and the entrance seems so drawn out that it'd be impossible to ever really get over. Scorpio and HHH actually have lots of chemistry with each other and kick the show off with a really good outing. There's a rare gem of a commercial for WrestleMania 13 jackets where Howard Finkel is proposing a "Best of Howard Finkel Announcements" VHS tape and Vince McMahon proposes an announcer's headset/toupee combo be made. With only one prior Raw match against a jobber, The Sultan is #1 contender for The Rock's Intercontinental title for WrestleMania and extremely not over with the crowd even with Iron Sheik and Bob Backlund in his corner. Tony Atlas holds Rocky back from fighting the Sultan who just awkwardly stands in front of Rocky. Shawn Michaels makes his first appearance since he "lost his smile" and it's treated as a giant return even though it's only been a couple weeks Shawn claims to have found his smile (must be code for month long coke binge). Legendary moment when Bret Hart snaps on McMahon and cuts his "This is Bullshit" promo."
