"I'm using the translation function, so it might be hard to understand. The matches were too short to vote individually, so I'll comment here. Stone Cold vs Sid [5]. Thursday RAW Thursday! It was an average match."

[2.0] "A collection of incredibly boring matches and underwhelming promos. I've lost my smile doesn't really work if you never liked Shawn to begin with, undertaker cuts a bad promo, Vader cuts a bad promo, the headbangers have a squash match with Justin credible and carman bob holly and it's awful. The opener is really slow and middling, taker vs Vega was predictably slow and middling, Stone Cold vs Sid barely got started before the dq finish, the tag match just kind of happened and that was it and had a terrible finish. The main event was good then it ended in 5 minutes. I get it's leading into final 4 and those guys are messing with each other but christ try and make it interesting. If I'd watched this leading into the show at the time I wouldn't have bought the ppv and missed out on an overlooked in your house gem. Terrible go home show imo."

[6.0] "Solid show, some interesting stuff happened. I liked the tag title match, the main event, Taker/Savio was solid. Shawn has lost his smile, he summons all his weepy acting skills but most of the fans just chant for Sid. Main event build for Final Four is hot, everything else is kind of lukewarm."

[7.0] "Quite an interesting episode of Raw because of the chaos around the title picture when Shawn Michaels cuts his infamous 'I lost my smile' promo and vacates the title. This adds more stakes to the Final Four PPV with the match now being a WWF title match. The build around that match is pretty good for the most part, but nothing else is really built for the rest of the show. This show had a good early clash between Rock and HHH with the babyface Rocky winning the IC Title with a finish that worked far better than it should have. The Tag Title match was also very good because storytelling with Owen and Bulldog was continuing to pick up momentum. Austin vs Sid was a chaotic brawl while it lasts, with the crowd getting more and more behind Austin. Taker vs Vega was meh, but the aftermath where Taker and Ahmed take out the Nation was a lot of fun. My main criticism of this show really was the poor booking for Vader in the main event where Bret Hart pins him cleanly in just over 5 minutes. That is not a good way to book someone thats supposed to be a serious contender at all. Overall this was a good show and you can see the company transition to the more edgy stuff it became renowned for later in the year."

[6.0] "Good Raw. The quality and aggression is starting to rise, it has a more edgy and unpredictable feel. The Michaels lost his smile promo is historically noteworthy and made for great TV. IC title match was good if not a bit too one sided before the upset win. You had all your top stars sans Michaels in action. All the Final Four participants interacted with each other which was entertaining."

[7.0] "Way more interesting show than first two hours episode. Opener is sometimes slow but overall a good match. First tag team match is okay for a squash. Austin vs Sid is too short, main event is disappointing but not bad. Other matches are alright. "Shawn Michaels lost his smile" is very controversial but I liked it as a segment."

[5.0] "Shawn Michaels lost his smile, this is the famous and controversial episode of him retiring before the Championship defense. WWF had an image loss because of his (temporary) retirement. Rocky won the Intercontinental Championship and it wasn't well received by the fans, really too early for him. Some good matches but a disappointing show... on Thursday!"

[6.0] "Highlight of the show is Shawn's lost smile speech that is obviously a bunch of b. s. Highlight of watching it was when my fiancé who has never watched anything pre-2012 said "that's Shawn Michaels? Is his face bloated from cocaine? " considering the time line, it really probably is. This is the Raw where all WrestleMania go to shit. I think they originally wanted to do Shawn vs Bret, Austin vs Sid, Nation vs Ahmed/Taker/? and Vader/Mankind"
