[7.0] "A very fun Star Wars and a great way to say goodbye to Fritz, who delivered a solid final (at the time) performance against the up-and-coming Bundy. The rest of the card was also entertaining, with Race vs Kerry leading the way - genuinely the best Harley vs Kerry match I've seen so far, telling a fantastic story of Kerry fighting from underneath, bloodied but resilient. El Solitario vs Guajardo was another gem; while it wasn't the fastest match due to Rene's age, the storytelling was strong and the style felt unique compared to the rest of the show. Kabuki & Dragon vs Kevin & David was a very fun contest, Lola vs Irma turned out surprisingly solid, and the Battle Royal was highlighted by a lively performance from McGraw. The only underwhelming part was Irwin vs Mantell, though even that wasn't terrible."

[7.0] "Very good show overall and finished on a high with the 2nd & 3rd last matches the strongest of the show. Von Erich's vs The Great Kabuki & The Magic Dragon was a solid match of a 6.5* and this was followed by the match of the show Kerry Von Erich beating Harley Race for a shot at Ric Flair. The crowd were involved elevating the show, even in a half empty stadium they still got their voice across. Poorest elements were the Body Slam Battle Royal 3.5* and the light heavy contest. Good flow to this solid show 7*"

[8.0] "Quite a good show overall, IMO, for fans of this era. Fritz vs. Bundy was, for the "last" match of Fritz's career (he would actually have a handful after this), a solid brawl with some good psychology and a hot crowd, certainly helped by the falls-count-anywhere stip. It's preceded by two other good Von Erich matches as Kerry takes on Harley Race in a bloody fight, and David and Kevin defend the semi-fictional version of the All-Asia Tag Title against Great Kabuki and Magic Dragon. The undercard is also rock-solid, with an OK "bodyslam battle royal" designed to showcase Andre in his feud vs. Bugsy McGraw, a decent showcase for El Solitario and Rene Guajardo in their bout, a very good women's match as Lola Gonzales defends what seems to be a fictional Mexican Ladies Championship against the unrelated Irma Gonzalez, and good opener in Bill Irwin vs. Ken Mantell that shows Irwin was far better than his later reputation for his short-lived "Goon" character lets on. As a card from the early '80s, there's really not much fault to be found here, other than perhaps for purists who would've rather the retiring Fritz went out on his shield."
