[5.0] "One match card and even that match isn't the best match either man had in TNA (Angle Abyss). Opener was fine. Kong made an otherwise bland tag match watchable. Yet another horrible match in TNA involving Rhyno and Daivari. Tag match was fine. Booker T and Christian was fine. The falls count anywhere started pretty slowly and was mostly filled with crowd brawling but it had two great spots (won't spoil either). Nash and Joe was a fun clash of styles, but it became slow as molasses once Nash got control and it was also pretty obvious who'd win. Main event is awful, I gave it 5/0 and that was only due to the crowd. It is entirely soulless and Sting is hopeless at working as anything but a babyface and AJ himself isn't as good as he'll eventually become at playing both. Pretty horribly booked show featuring three people who didn't need victories against who they were facing, one of which should never have been a heel (Sting)."

[6.0] "Your standard TNA PPV of the era. Lots of old guys, a few younger guys putting in the effort and decent matches although nothing special."

[7.0] "There was a bit of a lull after the opener, but the show closed pretty well with the final three matches being my favourite three on the card (despite two of them having disappointing finishes). Angle vs Abyss was the highlight and the main thing to check out from this show, but personally I thought Nash vs Joe was surprisingly fun as well. I suspect a lot of fans wouldn't be too enamoured with it, but I thought it was an interesting styles clash and something a bit different for both. Nothing on the show was outright bad, and while nothing was that special either I still think this was worth watching - although you may want to skip a few of the midcard matches."

[8.0] "Good show, arguably TNA? s best PPV of 2008. Fun opener with an incredible mix of talent. A good tag title match in the first in a soon to be long-standing series between Beer Money and Motor City. Kurt Angle and Abyss stole the show in an incredible spectacle that overdelivered on expectations. While I was not a fan of the younger talent losing, it made sense in the sense of this was the beginning of the MEM as a real group and they wanted to make them look strong. It resulted in one of Nash? s best singles matches against Joe. Sting/AJ had a better match here than they would have at Bound For Glory the following year. The other 3 matches on the show were not terrible but were not the best, especially in the case of Bashir/Rhino with the very odd appearance by ICP/Corporal Robinson/Scott Hall that was never mentioned again. Fun show overall."

[6.0] "Pretty good opener, some forgettable matches and some good matches too. This was a satisfactory event."
