[5.0] "Not your typical work rate Smackdown episode but still entertaining. Los Guerreros are beginning to hit their stride. The Big Show push continue. Heyman must love that man. The Brock babyface promo is hilarious. This is a man who debuted powerbombing Spike Dudley to death, and now he's claiming that Big Show is a bully for fucking up Rey. The Benoit vs The Bull match gets turned into a tag match... because the ref says so? Who needs a General Manager? A young Damian Sandow appears. A terrible woman's tag match to further the terrible lesbian storyline between Sable and Torrie. Then Mr America debuts, what a moment. Silly stuff but it's fun and that's the main thing. Crazy to think 3 of the 4 men are now dead from that segment. Who would have thought Vince would outlive all of them. Maybe you're reading this review and all 4 have passed. Then never mind."

[4.0] "This was a VERY hit/miss episode of Smackdown, which is rare because of how good the show usually was at this time. The opener was good as was the Cena/Kendrick promo and the Team Angle promo, but the women's match was bad, Big Show/Funaki was a squash as was Team Angle's match, Benoit was pinned by Chuck Palumbo, and the final segment was about the ridiculous Mr. America storyline, with Roddy Piper involved, in 2003. Yeah."

[8.0] "What a fun episode of Smackdown this was! Everything around the Team Angle vs Los Guerreros rivalry is really entertaining, there's two really good tag matches with Los Guerreros winning a hot opener, and also a reliably good Chris Benoit match. Brian Kendrick has an absolutely hilarious segment where he raps making fun of John Cena. The main event Piper's Pit segment is great because of the hilarious Mr. America reveal as the badly disguised Hulk Hogan. It's goofy as hell but it's really funny and I just thought it was a creative way to outsmart Vince McMahon! The only misses here is the bad Lesnar promo and the terrible tag team women's match that continues the terrible Torrie vs Sable feud."

[6.0] "The wrestling here isn't the best, but I thought the segments here made the show decent. Lesnar's promo was decent, Cena and Kendrick's was probably the best segment all night, and the segment with Mr.America at the end was great as well, delivered especially with how much they hyped it up."

[8.0] "Fun episode of Smackdown from a very fun era. The matches are not so long but I really dug Guerreros/MFers and FBI/Benoit & Rhyno. The main angle of the episode was the mysterious "Mr America", a much maligned gimmick that was really not too bad as you get some classic Vince over-acting, and the crowd ate it up."
