[8.0] "This was a historically great episode of Raw coming off the heels of WrestleMania 14, where the Austin Era had finally begun. Many historical moments occurred on this show, starting with The Rock and the Nation of Domination turning on Faarooq with Rock declaring himself the new ruler of the Nation. Followed by X-Pac making his return to the WWF following his firing from WCW and joining DX. And he proceeded to cut a shoot promo on Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff, which was awesome. And not to mention the New Age Outlaws aligning themselves with DX at the end of the show. While none of the matches were anything to recommend, this show provided a wealth of history that people still discuss to this day."

[7.0] "I'm giving this episode points for historical relevance but jesus christ this is not a 9 or a 10 show. there were ZERO matches worth watching here on a card that had 8 of them. Like, wtf? Are we really saying that one of the best Raws of all time features Kurrgan vs Chainz? lol no way. Yes this is a MUST WATCH episode if you're a wrestling history buff. Xpac's legendary speech calling out hogan and bischoff, and the rock turning his back on farooq, LOD 2000 forming and of course the outlaws joining DX... well basically DX taking their true form post-HBK. The stuff with Austin and Vince was done very well, but it felt weird at the end when everyone is chanting for austin and he never comes out. I see there's a dark match post-Raw where he shows up and wrestles, which had to be great for the crowd. But for the actual show, I wasn't cool with the main star and guy who just won the belt being arrested. I thought that was stupid really. Maybe it made sense at the time, as Vince wasn't used to taking stunners and the crowd wasn't used to seeing it. But today it seems silly to me. Another cool thing is Road Dogg coming out saying "you didn't know? " and the crowd not really knowing what to do. Good show, fun watch, historically important, but nah man this is not a fucking 9+ show. Wrestling was garbage. Even the end cage match. Terry funk was tied up for most of it and foley looked tired as hell. wtf was that about?"

[7.0] "The show has a lot of major moments that would affect the future of the WWF big time, so historically important in that regard. It's more of a show that sets up some of the most historic feuds and factions though, not so much something that's super entertaining in and of itself. A good show, entertainment wise but not that much better than your typical Attitude Era RAW personally."

[10.0] "Very strong episode of Raw and a very important one as well. We got the completion of the Vince McMahon heel turn where he has Austin arrested after he gets a stunner in the opening segment and this would start one of the biggest feuds in pro-wrestling history. After Shawn Michaels lost his title at Wrestlemania, Triple H cuts a great promo where he becomes the new leader of DX and he recruits Syxx from WCW who cuts a great promo basically burying Bischoff, the nWo, Hogan and pretty much everything to do with the company which got a great reaction and he immediately makes an impact where he hits Cactus Jack several times with the chair in the main event where the newest recruits to DX was the New Age Outlaws. Fantastic ending to the show. There was major development with the Nation of Domination where after months of build The Rock finally completes his turn on Faarooq with it revealed the rest of the Nation was on his side all along and they oust their former leader and founder. Bearer cuts a chilling promo to The Undertaker challenging him to an inferno match and we also saw the debut of the Kaientai faction as well as a tv plug for the upcoming debut of Val Venis. The matches are all too short to be anything of note but most of them serve their purpose very well, especially the main event."

[6.0] "Very strong RAW from a historical standpoint. X-Pac returns and joins DX along with the New Age Outlaws, Rock kicks Faarooq out of the Nation, Paul Bearer announces the first ever inferno match and Austin gets arrested and McMahon is cemented as the big heel of the company. My only gripe with this RAW was the matches felt needless and unnecessary outside of the main event."

[9.0] "Awesome episode of Raw here. Mcmahon cements himself as the heel authority figure in the opening segment and after Austin stuns him he asks for him to be arrested, and he does get arrested later on. Nation finally turns on Farooq and Rock is appointed as the leader. Triple H is the new leader of DX and X-Pac makes his return during the segment. Oh and also in the main event DX aligns with the NAO"

[9.0] "This is it man. This is where the WWF won. VMK cemented his role as a heel owner, Faarooq got kicked out of the Nation of Domination, X-Pac returns to DX and absolutely buries the WCW, nWo, Hogan and Bischoff, even the Kaientai show up to ambush Taka after his loss to Mero. Bearer comes out to invite Taker to an Inferno match against Kane at Unforgiven, and while it's no surprise that the NAO won back the tag team titles, seeing DX coming out to help them brutally beat the Foley and Funk up after the match and NAO joining DX was a nice surprise if you didn't already know about it. (Val Vilmer also returned but who even gives a damn about him)."

[10.0] "Austin and McMahon are brilliant. Vince is great heel and proves that he has great charisma. This was propably the best stunner in history. Sunny is a manager again and LoD 2000 look very good. Jeff Jarrett is very boring. Austin arrest was amazing. The Rock is the best heel in the roster and now is a new leader The Nation of Domination. Feud with Faarooq is more interesting than with Shamrock. X-Pac return to WWE when Nash and Hogan talking about him on Thunder, very good decision. Triple H is a new leader and this is how history is created. Feud between Luna and Sable still is average. New Japan stable is debuted and that's interesting. Dan Severn joined to Jim Cornette maybe NWA will be better. Kane still wants to het his brother but Undertaker still is absent. NAO won tag team belt again and this is a good decision. Gunn and Dogg joined to D-Generation X and finish one of the best Raw ever."

[10.0] "First awesome Raw after Wrestlemania. I will just list important moments: return of X-Pac, New Age Outlaws join DX, Rock is lider of NOD, announcement of first inferno match. Also there are pretty good main event with cool ending."

[10.0] "One of the most important episode of Raw, it started the hype of a post-Wrestlemania episode. The return of X-Pac, the new Degeneration-X, Steve Austin vs Vince McMahon reaches a new level and Farooq vs The Rock in the Nation of Domination. There is a low standard quality of the Wrestling matches, but it's full of stories and new things."

[10.0] "This is by far the best episode of Raw so far. This basically sets up a trio of the big things in 1998: -Starts Austin vs. McMahon something serious -The Rock usurps power from Faarooq, becoming leader of the Nation as well as showing that The Rock will look out for himself first which is a definite recurring theme. -The "new" D-Generation X is formed with Triple H, X-Pac, and The Outlaws -The vicious beat-down on Cactus Jack leads to something else for Foley"
