[4.0] "Like most of the In Your House PPVs, shows that I bet weren't even something expensive at the time having these shows of 2 hours, that were like every week feels like, but the Main Event carries most of it's ratings. 4/10"

[4.0] "A true one match card. Bret and Bulldog is why you're here or why you should be here. Nothing else is remotely relevant or that interesting. Poor Owen gets jobbed out to Diesel in a way that does indeed evolve Diesel's character, but doesn't do Owen's stock any favors. Triple H has another run in with the disgusting Godwinn and there is a throwaway tag match. That's it. The only other note is this is Shane Douglas' last WWF appearance. A really miserable card that is held up on the shoulders of Bret vs. Bulldog. That's all that matters."

[5.0] "As with much of the 95 output its a very mixed bag. Opening tag match is pretty good when its Jannetty and the 1-2-3 Kid in the ring, Razor brings charisma into it as well, Sid doesn't really add much and the match starts dragging in places, specially when they cut to a random Goldust promo in the crowd (5/10) Johnson/Landel is just a squash but if rated together with the whole Jarrett return and post match I can give it some points (4/10) Triple H/Godwinn had an awful gimmick attached to it and it felt overlong at 9 minutes.Props to Hunter for trying his absolute best though (3/10) Diesel/Hart was pretty efective for the short time it had and it definetely looked like Diesel was sending a message to Shawn and Bret instead of caring about the match (5/10) Taker/Mabel was thankfully very short and Taker's presence and overness carry it to a watchable quality. Still Mabel sucks so its not more than that (4/10) Bret/Bulldog is by far the highlight of the show and does the heavy lifting with the overal score. Very intense and heated brawl with great wrestling as you would expect from them. I'd dare to say its better than their Summerslam bout (9/10)"

[3.0] "After a great Survivor Series we're left with this piece of crap. Other people probably rate it higher mainly because of the main event, but I'm not the fan of this match so there's nothing really worth the time for me. The opener is okay as it's a textbook Tag Team Match with some good stuff from four professionals, but it get's sluggish after that. Some promos and segments that are too long, a few squashes that are alright but still squashes and the Hog Pen Match that sucked. Another Casket Match which at least was short compared to other Taker's matches with this stipulation and then the main event. I wrote more about it in the match review, but all in all there are so many things that put me out of this match - finisher on the floor that isn't sold, Bret getting opened after hitting his back and the finish out of nowhere. At least it's In Your House so it's not over 2 hours, but still it's a slug."

[3.0] "This is a bad show. The main event with Bret Hart fighting back against British Bulldog after bleeding a lot is great and it keeps this from being the worst PPV ever, but it? s still a below average PPV event."

[4.0] "This PPV sucked! But It has one of Bret Hart's top 10 matches of all time so that makes an easy thumbs up! Bret Hart bleeding to the point that Bulldogs tights were turning pink was insane!"

Derek Joists wrote on 24.12.2021:
[2.0] "This is a hard show to rate, because in some ways it deserves a zero just for the hog pen match, an idea so awful Vince Russo would have thought twice about it. Add to that a load of terrible promo work, the anti-Santa beating up Savio Vega, getting Owen Hart to job out to Diesel in about 4 minutes (I know he won by DQ but he got no offence in), and Buddy Landel of all people returning and you have much of the show being terrible. It does however have an absolutely great main event, and needs some points for that, but you should absolutely avoid the rest of the show."

[6.0] "Compared to previous two IYH events, this may have been the best out of the three. I never watched the first two to compare, not yet anyways. A weak roster compared to rival WCW, and ECW was growing in popularity. WWF had to have a decent IYH and this was it. The opening tag match, the Hog Pen match (you read that right) and the casket match were all very solid at the time and provided great entertainment, especially the Hog Pen match. Always liked this particular one. Main event remains one of my absolute favorites. I may even prefer this one to their Summerslam 92 match. If anything, the previous match was a face vs. face encounter but this one was face vs. heel, so the dynamics were different and they played the angle to the max. Still great to this day."

[6.0] "An okay PPV with one awesome and two good matches. Opener is pretty good tag team match. Hog pen match is surprisingly good especially for this stupid rules. Diesel vs Owen is disappointing because it's just a squash. Cascet match is awful. Main event is great, those guys know how to do a good match. Best match of 1995 for me."

[6.0] "Still with the weakest roster of all time, WWF put an effort at least with the main event, a huge Bret Hart vs British Bulldog match for the title. The Hog's Pen match is entertaining and better than any expectations, Owen Hart vs Diesel is a complete fail, The Undertaker vs Mabel is another boring Casket match, and the opener match deliver a good tag team action. I guess it's a 6-points event for me."
DanTalksRasslin wrote on 24.12.2015:
[6.0] "This holiday offering could be described as a "one-match show, " featuring a classic encounter between brothers-in-law Bret Hart and Davey Boy Smith as the main event. The rest of the card is not nearly as strong, though it did do a good job handling several of the company's top storylines. In terms of pure match quality, the other really good match was the opening Razor/Jannetty vs. Sid/Kid tag, though the Taker-Mabel casket match and Helmsley vs. Godwinn hog pen matches were reasonable for what they were. And we got to see the debut of Xanta Klaus, so there's that."
