[7.0] "This was a really good edition of 1993 RAW! The best, and biggest thing of note here is Razor Ramon winning his first Intercontinental Title in a really good match against Rick Martel. All the squash matches on this one were decent to solid; with the Headshrinkers match being fun to watch in my opinion. This episode also saw the debut of the Rock N' Roll Express in a really good squash showing for them. Thank you Lex Luger for interrupting that Ludvig Borga promo segment; you had me ready to join the Lex Express for that one. Intrigued to see what takes place during the next stretch of Raw's; as the build to Survivor Series continues and we're promised a summit for Macho Man and Crush next week."

[6.0] "The atmospheric match right at the start does justice to the overwhelmingly positive reactions to the Face-Razor of late. The bout is straightforward and pragmatic, making it easy to enjoy. And the best part is--Scott Hall seems genuinely happy about it. The Shrinkers' squash match is delivered with the usual intensity. Owen makes another appearance--he needs to be brought into the spotlight a bit now, since they obviously have plans for him. Borga plays up the clichés in an interview--effective, but not original. Luger, at least, plays the good guy in the process. While Adam Bomb (now with Harvey Wippleman and no longer with Johnny Polo) takes down the unfortunate Russ Greenberg, Crush's return is announced for next week--with Randy Savage remaining the focus of this storyline. Finally, Morton & Gibson invite everyone to a mullet meeting. Razor's title win and the Borga interview with Luger are memorable; the rest is superfluous."

[7.0] "Meh. The IC championship match wasn't that great to me. I know I'm in the minority here but I just don't see Razor Ramon as some great wrestler. He's got charisma and superstar factor, crowd loves him, etc. but the match itself was like whatever to me. But, the fact that the crowd was crazy into it and Ramon genuinely looked happy to win it, that was a pretty fun experience. Rest of the episode was interesting I guess. Lex Luger hasn't been on Raw since summer slam and Yoko hasn't been around either. It's insane considering the weird finish of their match together. tbh its bad storytelling and a bad story. Now you got ludvig being ANOTHER anti american heel, which gives lex luger something to do, even though he should be pissed off regarding summer slam. They're resetting, it's ok, but it's weird. One thing I liked was the introduction of the rock n roll express and them showing off the SMW tag titles. I think this is pretty cool. Also, Owen Hart looked really good in his squash match, and so did the headshrinkers. Seeing Rikishi jump off the top rope like that was pretty bad ass. Giving this 7 points because I enjoyed something about every segment on this show, there were quite a few interesting/unique things about this specific show, and overall nothing was 100% boring. If I enjoyed the IC title match as much as everyone else, I'd probably rate this like an 8.5."

[7.0] "This was a fun episode of RAW. The only featured match was the Intercontinental Championship bout between Rick Martel and Razor Ramon and it delivered, so the show has to be considered a success. The rest was just squash matches, which were fine. Ludvig Borga and Lex Luger had a basic segment, but the crowd were really hot for it. Good episode."

[7.0] "A very good edition of WWF's Monday Night RAW. Notable for featuring Razor's first title win, and to a lesser extent, The RNR Express's WWF debut (! ). Owen's squash was also very fun, and as lame as Ludvig Borga turned out to be, this confrontation between him and Luger got some great reaction from the crowd."

[9.0] "The match between Razor Ramon and Rick Martel was excellent. The other matches were just squashes although cool to see the Rock N' Roll Express making their WWF debut. Ludwig Borga had a long winded Promo but otherwise a good show."
