[9.0] "A really great day 2 for this tournament that saw Tyler Bate & Pete Dunne both putting themselves on the map with a great main event that was the best match of the two night event. Tommy End vs. Neville was solid and a great look at my personal favorite NXT champ ever to date against one of the best crusierweights of this era. I understand that they wanted to get new wrestlers looks in the Cruiserweight Classic but in kayfabe it's pretty hard to argue with him that WWE couldn't find one of the 32 spots in that tournament for Neville. Mark Andrews & Wolfgang really stood out in this tournament as well, and it's easy to see that NXT UK had a great batch of talent to start with just with these 16 guys. Solid 4 star card."

If they decide to follow up on this Pete Dunne should be established as a top level star with his performance . Not only in the ring but his character work . Matches worth watching : all of them and my top match was Mark Andrews vs. Pete Dunne ."

Great event overall."

[9.0] "Great Show, Much Better Than Night 1. Neville vs. Tommy End was Fine. Bate vs. Dunne was amazing. Great Work on Tyler's Shoulder and had a good story behind attack from Dunne to Bate."

[9.0] "After a rather average start, the UK Tourney came back with a vengeance on the second night. The story of the main event was pulled off perfectly, with already-underdog Bate coming back from the injury angle at the hands of Dunne to prevail to seemingly everyone's-including his own-surprise; both came out of it looking like stars. The previous brackets also had some great performances, with Mandrews and Wolfgang especially shining. And we even got a nice bonus non-tournament match with Neville and the debuting End. A great night of wrestling by any account."

[9.0] "A much better show than the previous night. One of the best matches of 2017 thus far for sure, even. Dunne vs Gradwell was a brutal fun little opener (**3/4). Mandrews vs Conners was a pretty good match (***1/4). Wolfgang vs Seven was a really good hossfight that again had a hot crowd like Wolfgang's previous match (***3/4). Bate vs Devlin was solid also with a really good finish (***1/4). Dunne vs Andrews was an awesome match in front of a hot crowd; I'm not much into Mark, but his chemistry with Dunne is off the charts (****1/4). Bate vs Wolfgang was a fun little match with a David/Goliath setup; looking back on it, I liked this a lot more due to the psychology at play from Wolfgang and how the crowd reaction and his injury played directly into how Tyler overcame the size advantage (***3/4). Neville vs Tommy End was a wonderful little surprise, and it was very good for its time (***1/2). Dunne vs Bate was built wonderfully, had great selling, great escalation, great storytelling, and a hot hot HOT crowd. I absolutely adored how this match was put together, and it put over the 19-year-old Bate incredibly well (****1/2). Again, Nigel & Cole were really great here, even if Cole had a few wrong calls here and there. The substory with Regal and Dunne was also just super. Great stuff can happen when WWE actually wants to have synergy with the indie scene."

[8.0] "Night 1 was okay but hard to watch for two hours, Night 2 is what a tournament should be, an exciting road to the finals. Now it's easier to follow the wrestlers because they were already introduced the night before. Pete Dunne has two impressive match after the disappointing first one, incredible wrestler that can do great things in WWE. Mark Andrews and Wolfgang are great too, Tyler Bate is the biggest surprise. This tournament is a display of talent and the hot crowd is something rare to see today in a WWE event. So it's recommended, not great as the Cruiserweight Classic Finals (not even close) but great Wrestling indeed."

Every match was good. Very entertaining show with no dull moments on the show. Bate Vs Dunne is easily an early MOTY candidate."

[8.0] "A very fun show! The whole atmosphere & vibe was really fun + the commentary by Cole & Nigel was amazing. Dunne was the star of the night, the opener vs. Sam Gradwell was good (***), semi final match vs. Mandrews was really good & my pick for the best match of the night (***3/4) & the finals match vs. Tyler Bate was real good as well (***3/4). The surprise Neville vs. Tommy End match was pretty solid too, and the moment of Tommy End walking down to the ring was pretty cool. All in all, definitely deserving of a thumbs up. Awesome show."

Pete Dunne vs Tyler Bate (**** 1/4). Mark Andrews and Trent Seven were impressive. Same for Wolfgang. Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate are both stars. They proved it."

The final 4 matches were very good, and built to a tremendous finish. Between Andrews a fan favorite, Dunne a brawling heel, and Bate a young upstart, they established some very good characters that can make immediate impacts at the nxt level. Will be interesting to see how they develop Bate, a 19 year old with great charisma and good babyface potential."

"I watched this tournament and it was absolutely great. The match of the night had to be a tie between Mark Andrews vs. Pete Dunne or Pete Dunne vs. Tyler Bate. One thing I can say is the English wrestlers seemed to be able to do things that you don't see much which is that they were able to sell very well and most of them were super charismatic. Everyone thought that the winner was going to be either Mark Andrews, Trent Seven or Pete Dunne and they threw us a curve ball with the dark horse Tyler Bate which really helped in my enjoyment of this tournament as well."

[10.0] "One of the best shows WWE has ever run. Not a bad match anywhere on the card, and a main event I would rate 5 stars. It used everything set up storywise on night one perfectly, and while I would have loved to have seen Trent Seven and Tyler Bate clash in the Semi-Finals, they made the right call with the Wolfgang match. Simply one of the best shows I've watched, and now I need to go lay down because I'm tired from marking out over Tyler Bate in that last match."

[9.0] "This was such an improvement from night 1. Even though I liked the first night of the tournament a lot, I have to say that this turned the dial up to 11 and killed it. The whole night there was a great story being told that I haven't seen on a WWE produced show in a while, if ever. Pete Dune, from the first night, was being built up as a killer that needed to be stopped. From the way Nigel and Michael treated him as a disgrace to the tournament and had seemingly legitimate heat for him. Then there was the way he dominated his opponents and attacked them after their matches. Then you have the ultimate baby face Tyler Bate. He was built as a very nice kid who was talented and did not expect to make it to where he. So with both these stories being told through out the night, it made the eventual show down very exciting. Then the final match happened and it was amazing, it was a perfectly told match (maybe Tyler could have sold his shoulder more) and the right person came out on top. Not to mention the debut of Tommy End and the surprise appearance of Neville who put a really good match. Also some other standouts were Wolfgang (party with Wolfie), Joseph Connors, Trent Seven and Mark Andrews, who all put fantastic matches (especially Andrews with his match against Pete Dunne). Overall this was a very good night of wrestling and I cannot wait for the show that follows this."

[8.0] "This night was better than night 1 , My ratings for Quarter Final Matches: Gradwell vs Dunne (**3/4) , Andrews vs Conners (***1/4) , Wolfgang vs Seven (***) , Bate vs Devlin (***). My ratings for the Semi Finals: Dunne vs Andrews (***3/4), Wolfgang vs Bate (**3/4). Then we had the unexpected exhibition match between Neville and End (**3/4) and finally the last match to crown the first ever united kingdom champion. Dunne and Bate had the best match on this tournament (****1/4) and put a great end for a good tournament in general."
