[6.0] "Already 3 matches in this show was better than All Japan’s first show of 2017…. and it was after that the show really took off! This was closer to the real image of AJPW in ’17. The Bodyguard being awesome, young Aoyagi impressing, Suwama & Doering manhanding anyone in their way and Miyahara & Lee & Nomura representing the fresh generation in excellent fashion. Naoya Nomura -vs- Takuya Nomura [** 1/2] - This youthful match impressed me. Of course they only have a couple of years experience each, but double-Nomura shined together with their difference in styles clicking well. Basic, but with technique that matched the most professional of professionals and with fire to burn. It was competitive, short and to the point. Looking forward to seeing more of these brothers. Keisuke Ishii (c) -vs- Yuma Aoyagi – (AJPW Junior Title) [** 3/4] - Keisuke Ishii from DDT making his 1st defense of the AJPW Junior Title against promising AJPW rookie Yuma Aoyagi. A good match. Mostly standard formula, but with a decent pace. The last couple of minutes gained the excitement, which was just what the match needed. Zeus & The Bodyguard -vs- Takao Omori & Manabu Soya – (AJPW Tag Title) [***] - This wasn’t going to be anything else than a slow and brutal battle! And man, did they push The Bodyguard to the limit! Perhaps even crossing it a little. But the powerhouse took the beating like a man, even when no steam left in the engine. A real slugfest! And The Bodyguard comes out a star!"

[5.0] "Kind of a blah show . Some good stuff but not not up to the usual level and certasinly nothing to get over excited about . Sometimes Suwama can be the Puro equivalent of watching paint dry . Matches worth watching : Naoya Nomura vs. Takuya Nomura , Evolution (Atsushi Aoki, Hikaru Sato & Super Tiger) vs. Minoru Tanaka, Ryouji Sai & Shuji Ishikawa , Evolution (Joe Doering & Suwama) vs. NEXTREAM (Jake Lee & Kento Miyahara) , The Big Guns (The Bodyguard & Zeus) (c) vs. Get Wild (Manabu Soya & Takao Omori) and my top match was Keisuke Ishii (c) vs. Yuma Aoyagi ."
