[8.0] "This show gives hope for the future of All Japan . Big crowd in a big building . While there was some things I could have done without , mainly some of the guys from other promotions , all in all it was a strong card . The final two matches where excellent . Matches worth watching : Naoya Nomura vs. Takuya Nomura , Kaji Tomato, Kazuhiro Tamura & Naoshi Sano vs. Masao Inoue, SUSHI & Tsuyoshi Kikuchi , Black Tiger, Mitsuya Nagai, Takeshi Minamino & Tatsuhito Takaiwa vs. Diablo, Rey Paloma, Ryuji Hijikata & Super Tiger , Jake Lee, Koji Iwamoto & Yuma Aoyagi vs. Kengo Mashimo, Konosuke Takeshita & Ryouji Sai , Yohei Nakajima (c) vs. Jiro Kuroshio , Soma Takao (c) vs. Keisuke Ishii , Kento Miyahara (c) vs. Suwama and my top match was Strong BJ (Daisuke Sekimoto & Yuji Okabayashi) (c) vs. The Big Guns (The Bodyguard & Zeus) ."

[9.0] "I really enjoyed this show and I think if All Japan keeps on this track they might have a killer 2017. The undercard was good. Nomura vs. Nomura was a good showing from the youngboys. The 8 man tag with Dory was not great, but fun. The young boys six man tag was great. Tv title match was good, Ikemen had a good showing. The Jr. title match was my second favorite match of the night, great match by the DDT boys. Strong BJ vs Zeus and Bodyguard was great, and I loved the main. The rest was solid, but nothing out of your way to see."

[7.0] "Strong BJ vs Big Guns was definitely the best match on the show. I thought their previous meetings were a bit overrated, but this one delivered big time. Genuinely one of the best tag matches this year. The six man tag with young boys was probably my second favorite match. Ikemen vs Yohei and Nomura vs Nomura were also really good. THAT eight man tag was a trip and a half. Not much in terms of wrestling, but incerdibly fun. I wasn't the biggest fan of the main event. Suwama has not been great since returning. His work on top was so incredibly boring and the match felt like it lasted for an hour. The last few minutes were much better and that's what saved it from being terrible, but it still wasn't too great. Rest of the matches were fine, but nothing out of the ** - **3/4 range. Pretty good showing from AJPW. While I didn't love this as much as everyone else, I still enjoyed it and I'm very happy that AJPW are getting back on their feet."

[9.0] "Excellent show! From top to bottom this was one of the best wrestling shows this year. The opener was great (*** 1/2), and other matches in the undercard were a lot of fun too. The Takeshita 6 man tag was very good (*** 1/2), and the Akiyama tag match was pretty good too (***). The real business started after the intermission though. Ikemen and Nakajima had a very good match for the Gaora title (*** 1/2), and Ishii & Takao followed it with another really good bout, altough this one was a little bit more spotty (*** 1/2). The Asia TT match was so much fun, if you didn't have a good time watching Onita and Fuchi beat the shit out of Aoki and Sato - you're a bad human being. Tag title match was just amazing, MOTN for me (**** 1/4), and the main event was really awesome too, especially towards the end (****). Great booking overall and a really fun show, which by the way was an incredible success business wise as well. This gets 9 from me, this was honestly the best non-NJPW & PWG show in 2016."

[9.0] "Awesome. Just awesome. This show was AJPW's chance to prove that they still belong in this day and age and my God did they deliver. They crafted something entirely unique: something of a Japanese indie super show that focused on giving overlooked local talent from various promotions a larger platform to shine. Most of them seized the opportunity with gusto, both as wrestlers and as entertainers, delivering things you won't see anywhere else. Aside from the old guy tag match where the 75 year old Dory Funk worked most of it, there wasn't a single match on here that I thought was actively bad. Suwama vs. Miyahara and Strong BJ vs. Big Guns in particular were incredible. They were loaded with excitement, near falls, stiff strikes, drama, and, especially in the case of Suwama vs. Miyahara, great selling. Refreshingly, most of the matches also told pretty good stories about heart and determination overcoming violence and negativity, too, which is welcome in an age where fewer and fewer matchces tell stories. It also went a long way towards the general theme that these are a bunch of scrappy misfits trying to prove their worth. Overall, I loved it. Highly recommended."
