The main was excellent especially the Tozawa/Tkagi stuff . Surprise turns and what could be the beginning of heated rivalries as well . Matches worth watching : all of them and my top match was Monster Express (Akira Tozawa, Big R Shimizu, Masato Yoshino & Syachihoko BOY) vs. VerserK (Cyber Kong, Naruki Doi, Shingo Takagi, T-Hawk & YASSHI) (w/El Lindaman & Mondai Ryu) ."

[8.0] "I arrived forty minutes late and entered the Hall just as Cima pinned F Nakamura w/ a Schwein proving that in '16 there was no way DG would open two straight shows @ Korakuen w/out the 'bring a onnanoko/otokonoko' to the ring ritual. Well, that's not exactly true cause M Express were out first explaining the rules to the Main Event as well as commenting on what a poor, unreliable teammate Kaasa is in getting hurt so he couldn't compete in the most important match his stable's history. Well, that's conjecture but backstage some may have thought that. I recall Mochi-Fuji/Horiguchi-Kanda being particularly enjoyable on this evening. I also recall feeling somewhat disappointed by Eita/Lindaman but that might have been due to Dr. Muscle's interference leading to an unclean finish. I just don't believe well-built title matches in which the heel should properly get his due should end w/ interference helping the face. Two straight Jobs @ Korakuen BB. ? . ? The M Event was epic and will probably be on hardcore fan's top 20 DG matches of the year. Momentum switched multiple times, and at one point Takagi was by himself, but reality returned and ME must disband. But that wasn't the real shock of the evening; that came when out-of-nowhere T-Hawk hit a Urajigoku & then a Night Ride on Doi and hence kicked the longtime heel out of Verzerk. Noone in DG instigates such entertaining heat as Naruki-san so I'm curious where this leaves him. Poignant Tozawa ended this high-quality gig. 7. 75"

[8.0] "A Dragon Gate Korakon Hall show in the best way, Eita vs El Lindaman was a great showcase for both performers and setup future storylines well, Tribe Vangaurd vs VerserK was another really fun Dragon Gate multi man match. The main event was very emotional, and a dramatic end to Tozawa's Dragon Gate run, with some very bitter sweet post match interactions."
