[8.0] "WCPW is getting momentum. This was another good show with some storyline developments, good matches and not one weird overbooked ending. The show starts with El Ligero defeating Joseph Conners. I like the straight forward style of Conners, but maybe this match went a bit too long. I'm not the biggest Ligero fan. Next, Adam Blompied comes with Aron Stevens tunic and theme song to imitate and tease him. Stevens comes to the ring and wins the promo battle, talking shit about WWE, his firing, how he loves WCPW and low blows Blompied, getting even for last weeks action. Good build for the future match between Damo and Stevens. After that, we see Joe Coffey getting a title shot after asking Pacciti. And on that same segment, Martin Kirby also asks for a match with Grado, causing the GM to say to himself why did he hired Kirby. Grado defeats Kirby on a fine comedy match. They did some decent spots and the crowd was fully invested. I liked the german suplex spot where Kirby couldn't lift Grado or how Grado avoided an attack, causing Kirby to dive to the outside. And then all the chops by the fans. There was some space for real wrestling also. It was entertaining, Kirby is a master in this role. After the match, Prospects attacks Grado when he was being interviewed, which causes Hendry and Conners to come and make the save, setting a future Six Man Tag. After that, Noam Dar gets his farewell of WCPW after losing to Doug Williams. I think this managed to put over Doug Williams as a veteran heel that knows about the game more than anyone. His false selling of the leg leading into him gaining advantage and the final pin with a rollup was very good. And that's what matters in the end, to have the guy staying in the company being put over and looking stronger. The story of the match was basic: veteran vs prominent rookie who has made name for himself and it's going to WWE. Williams thinks he's the best british wrestler ever and that non other could top him, but Dar keeps outwrestling him and being able to scape his holds and even hurting Williams leg. My favorite spot was when Williams had Dar catched by the legs and begun kicking him, but Dar was able to turn it into the Champagne Super Kneebar. In the end, it wasn't enough as Williams wins with a rollup. Then, Primate defeated Gabe Kidd on a fun squash match. I love primate's offense and how he carries himself. The ending with the running avalanche belly to bellly suplex, into four consecutive german suplexes into a spear into the submission with a head scissors into many elbow strikes on the head ciments him as this beast man. On the main event, Big Damo defeated Joe Coffey. After Joe Coffey makes his entrance, Primate comes to the ring and attacks him with a steel chair, hurting his ribs and neck. Then the match itself starts. It's always good to see two heavyweight wrestling. Those strike exchanges felt as two bruisers fighting each other with good punches, forearms, uppercuts. The match was built around Coffey being the underdog. Coffey was able to get on top on some moments such as after the double springboard crossbody, the suicide dive or the jump to the other side of the barricade. He was able to hit some powermoves, but I specially liked his strikes. Damo is a maniac that combines good shots with impressive offense, such as the shotgun dropkick or the slam into a senton, the running low crossbody and that amazing finisher in the The Ulster Plantation. Very good match and a great way to end the show."

[7.0] "Again a solid showing from this fledgling promotion. There are enjoyable matches here but they need to balance things out."

[6.0] "This rating is just for D Williams/N Dar: I was not a fan of Noam Dar in WWE's Cruiserweight Tournament. None of the competitors in their pre-recorded comments nor in their in-ring presentation hinted at heel-dom yet Dar made the incongrous choice of presenting himself as a cocky in-ring technician without a) forewarning the audience of this character in his video package & b) not realizing that there were at least a half dozen competitors with a stronger pedigree and shinier polish than this Israeli expatriate. Dar's a tidy, compact, even charismatic package and I'm not dismissing his prospects but of all the Cruiserweights in that tournament I was most disappointed by Noam. The vanilla Doug Williams has finally found himself a colorful and timely new gimmick that should serve him well... a RJ Brewer for the UK. I rather wish D Williams would have mic'd up to emphasize that Dar's Judiasm is not inherently British and thus Williams will fight to enact another 'Edict of Expulsion, ' as the English shamefully did in 1290, to eliminate this Jewish man from WCPW. Then again, these days are too politically correct for this kind of 'Piper in LA' heat. But think of the drawing possibilities... creating a Muslim babyface, bringing Jew & Muslim together to fight-off racism, etc. Regarding the match... it's alright but never really created the heat a match of this nature should. BTW... fast count by the obviously Anti-Semetic/foreigner (wink-wink) S Lindsey (sp? )"

[8.0] "A huge improvment over the previous shows, the opener was good, Grado vs Kirby was funny and Dar vs Williams was awesome. The squash was ok and the main event was a let down, but still a great show."

[8.0] "I feel like WCPW is slowly understanding how to book their product as they go. They're focusing on forwarding storylines without needlessly putting all of the WhatCulture personalities up front, and yet keeping them around as the built-in audience wants them. A focus is placed on the talent and their interactions, and there's a feeling that every episode can now have at least one worthwhile match. Conners vs Ligero was a very good opener, had a lot of back-and-forth and a finish that kept up Ligero's streak in the company while keeping his opponent strong (***1/2). Grado vs Kirby was a satisfactory comedy match that set up a 6-Man Tag match next week. Dar vs Williams seemed a bit impromptu for a Career match, but considering Dar is almost certainly headed for WWE this Fall, and Williams needs some heat and a victory, this is better than Dar just one day being gone from the company; the match itself was okay (***). Primate vs Kidd was a fine squash used to build Primate back up from his last loss. The main event was a fine first defense for Damo, in which he looked like a dominant monster, but still heel in his mannerisms and how he retained due to Primate attacking Coffey before the match. Decent hossfight (***1/2). If the company continues to improve at this pace, they'll be a legitimately good promotion sooner rather than later."
