[6.0] "The 10-man tag team extravaganza was fun as usual. The other matches were also pretty solid overall."

[7.0] "By far the best show of the weekend, but still had flaws. Of the second round, two matches were awful (Trevor/Dalton; Kyle/Haskins), two were OK (Ricochet/Johnny; Sabre/Ospreay) and two were great (Hero/Andrews; Scurll/Cody). The semi-finals were by and large boring and arethe low point of the weekend. The non-tournament matches redeem the night, as the Tag Team Title match was fantastic action, and the 10 Men Tag Match was fantastic comedy. The Finals was functional and peaked at the right moments. If you trim the fat it is a fantastic show, but even with the bad matches it remains a good night of wrestling."

[8.0] "Another very entertaining night of wrestling . Not on par with the first two nights but still very good . Every one seemed tired including the crowd . The only low point was the 10 man DDT takes acid and comes to PWG match . I could use a break from all the thigh slaps . Matches worth watching : Dalton Castle vs. Trevor Lee , John Hennigan vs. Ricochet , Cody Rhodes vs. Marty Scurll , Chris Hero vs. Mark Andrews , Kyle O'Reilly vs. Mark Haskins , Will Ospreay vs. Zack Sabre Jr. , The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson) (c) vs. Fenix & Pentagon Jr. , Mark Andrews vs. Trevor Lee , Ricochet vs. Will Ospreay , Marty Scurll vs. Trevor Lee vs. Will Ospreay and my top match was Mark Haskins vs. Marty Scurll ."

The Three Nights Were AWESOMEEEEEEEE"

[9.0] "The weakest overall show of the BOLA Weekend, but given the work these wrestlers put in here it's totally understandable that many weren't going on all cylinders, especially with the length of the show. Castle vs Lee was a fun opener, but the comedy dragged a bit; the actual action was really good though (***1/2). Ricochet vs Hennigan was an okay match with some good sequences; you can tell they have chemistry but Hennigan just isn't acclimated to PWG (***). Scurll/Rhodes was an interesting matchup with a lot of good heel work from The Villain; Brandi added just a little extra to the match (***1/2). Andrews/Hero was all the fun of seeing Mandrews get ragdolled by Hero without the insane full-length story of their PROGRESS match (***1/4). O'Reilly vs Haskins was a very nice match that ramped up more and more as it went on, but perhaps a bit too late, as while it had the right length overall, it felt like they could've hit a fifth gear if they were both fresh (****). ZSJ vs Ospreay was just kind of there, but the crowd at PWG, when hype, can elevate a match (***). Bucks vs Hermanos was pretty great showcase of tag team action at just the right length (****). Lee/Mandrews was good, but at 8 minutes and without a real hook it didn't really stand out (***1/4). Scurll vs Haskins was a great face-off between the two that really showed their chemistry together (****). Ospreay vs Ricochet was a very exciting 10-minute version of their BOSJ match, which means it was quite good (***1/2). The 10-Man tag was a legendary comedy match with perfect pacing and timing on everything featuring 10 incredibly talented wrestlers (including the legend Jushin Liger, the star of the whole match); as a regular match it's hard to rate, but as a comedy match it may be the best I've seen this year, if not in a long time (***** comedy). The final was very exciting and had great storytelling through Ospreay's elimination then was good until the end (***3/4). Not the best show, but a very good one."

[9.0] "This was the worst out of 3 shows, and this should tell you how fucking good this year's BOLA was. Lee/Dalton was really good (*** 1/2), and Ricochet/Mundo was even a little bit better (*** 3/4). Rhodes/Scurll was pretty good as well (*** 1/4), and so was Hero/Andrews, even though it was really short (*** 1/4). Haskins/O'Reilly was just awesome (****), and Ospreay/Sabre was even a little bit better (**** 1/4). The Tag Title match was just unbelievable, it just lacked a hot finishing stretch, then it'd be a top tier level MOTYC (**** 1/2). Lee/Andrews was really good for how an 8 minute match (*** 1/4), Haskins/Scurll was awesome, another great performance by Haskins (****). Ricochet/Ospreay was what you'd expect, just an insane 10 minute spotfest (**** 1/4), and the final was also great, much better than last year's (*** 3/4). Buy all 3 DVD's if you haven't already, because BOLA 2016 fucking ruled."

[8.0] "Trevor/Castle was forgettable, but OK (**), Hennigan/Ricochet was very good (***1/2), Cody/Scurll was another very good match & an impressive performance by Cody (***1/2), Hero/Mandrews was good, a mini-version of their great PROGRESS match (***1/4), O'Reilly/Haskins was very good, loved the physicality between the two (***1/2), Ospreay/ZSJ was way better than their EVOLVE match from WM weekend (***3/4), The Bucks vs. Fenix & Pentagon was great - just as great as you would expect it to be (****), Mandrews/Trevor was pretty good (**3/4), Haskins/Scurll had a promising start but then it dragged & became a typical Marty Scurll match (**), Ricochet/Ospreay was what you'd expect from them if you have watched their EVOLVE & New Japan matches - I personally don't like their matches together, and this was no different (*), the 10-man tag was incredible; great interactions between wrestlers (Riddle/Cobb sequence RULED), genuinely awesome comedy & fun atmosphere (****), the main event was pretty good, definitely way better than the 2015 one (**3/4) + Marty's post-match speech was pretty awesome, as well. Overall a thumbs up for sure. Great show to cap off a great weekend of wrestling."

[9.0] "Another great night, flowed very well. I'd like to give Chuckie T and Excalibur a lot of credit, their commentary has been great but night 3 especially was hilarious. Lee vs Castle fun comedy opener with awesome displays of strength, my favorite opener of the 3 ***1/2. Ricochet vs Hennigan was a very good match and display of athleticism ***3/4. Scurll vs Rhodes was good, had some fun spots ***1/2. Mandrews vs Hero was fun ***1/4. Haskins vs O'Reilly was great, tho I wish KO won ****. Ospreay vs Sabre Jr was great with a really fun ending sequence ****. Tag title match was super awesome. Tope con Meltzer Driver was sick ****1/2. Mandrews vs Lee was fun ***1/4. Scurll vs Haskins was good but dragged too long ***1/2. Ospreay vs Ricochet was an awesome, if you didn't like BPSJ then you'll hate this ****1/4. 10 man was the most PWG thing I've ever seen ***1/2. Finals was great, one of the best 3 way finals they've had. Went maybe a bit too long but shorter than most. First 10 minutes were awesome, they managed to keep the crowd into it the whole time ****"

[8.0] "The weakest night, but still great. Show runs a bit too long, but every match is at least good, which is astounding for a 12 match card. Tag title match is the stand out (****1/2), with the opener, closer, and sub 10 minute matches the weakest of the show (all ***1/4 (still good)). PWG needs to rethink the 3-way elimination idea for the finals, these matches go too long and the energy always tanks after the first elimination (was a great match until Ospreay's double sub). Maybe rip off MITB next year and do a ladder match for a title shot? Anyways, really good show overall."
