[5.0] "The opener Callihan and Pentagon Jr. was fine (**). The next match was Scurll vs. Ospreay who was a better match than the opener. Ospreay is a really good high flyer (**3/4). Cabana & Taylor vs. Mannng & Riley (*3/4). Blanchard vs. Dobson good womens match (**). The Six Person Tag Lucha Libre Match was just great! (***1/2). Aerostar was the man in that match. 10 Man Tag Team Match was too long but probably a combo of the weakest match so far and the funniest (**1/4). Hardy vs. Storm (**). Cage, Hero & Sabre vs. Mysterio, Sydal & Ricochet was another great tag team match, very cool to see Rey Mysterio against the other indie guys (***3/4). Then the main event was pretty nice (***1/4)."

[8.0] "Really good show . The only bad point was the Jarrett vs. Ryan train wreck . One thing about that match . The Jarretts had old school heel heat . Like before everyone got wise to the fact that its a work . Good old school heels would bring the crowd to the point of near riots . There was that kind of animus towards them here . Unfortunately Nobody knew how to deal with it and killed the match, which honestly had little chance to begin with , and may have burned the crowd out . Otherwise this show was pretty great . Matches worth watching : Pentagon Jr. vs. Sami Callihan , Chuck Taylor & Colt Cabana vs. Jake Manning & Zane Riley , Crazy Mary Dobson vs. Tessa Blanchard (w/Tully Blanchard) , Bestia 666, Extreme Tiger & Jack Evans vs. Aero Star, Drago & Octagon Jr. which was great , Matt Hardy (w/Reby Sky) (c) vs. Lance Storm (w/Missy Hyatt) , Brian Cage, Chris Hero & Zack Sabre Jr. vs. Matt Sydal, Rey Mysterio Jr. & Ricochet , Abyss vs. Andrew Everett vs. AR Fox vs. Jeff Hardy vs. Pentagon Jr. vs. Trevor Lee (w/Shane Helms) and my top match in another classic in whats becoming their legendary rivalry Marty Scurll (c) vs. Will Ospreay ."

[6.0] "As is always the case, this year's installment of Wrestlecon's Wrestlemania show featured a potpourri of "The Good, the Bad, and The Ugly. " Starting with Eastwood, Scrull/Ospreay displayed a very fine, but not exemplary, semi-version of their classic from Rev Pro's "High Stakes 2016. " The six-man lucha wasn't always pretty but when one has hilites like Excalibur calling Octagon Jr 'Flamita, ' Aerostar tope'ing to the 4th row of fans and Tigre Uno reaching new heights with his legdrop over the guard rail all's good. The All-Star match wasn't a seamless classic, but the pleasure was watching a Lucha-man in his 40s work with individuals from very different wrestling spheres. Van Cleef was seen in the waaaay too-long Cabana comedy tag, the displeasure of watching two not-over men in their mid 40s plod their way through a singles match noone cared to see, and the fact that Pentagon/Sami were only given six minutes. (Hero worked a looong match with ZSJ at 'Mercury Rising;' these guys could have gone at least ten. ) Wallach was ubiquitous throughout, however 'ugly' is not synonymous with unwatchable; the aberration that was Monster's Ball wasn't too bad, certainly not akin to last year's Main Event, save for that rickety ladder at the end. But what was truly ugly, besides the close-up of Striker smarmin, ' was the outdated JJ doing his strained best to work a crazy dynamic against a hostile crowd and the gimmick of Mr. YouPorn Joey Ryan. 6. 25"

[5.0] "Solid show, was my first time seeing a lot of these guys in action. Really impressed by quite a few though. Stars; Pentagon Jr vs. Callahan (**), Scurll vs. Ospreay (****), Comedy Tag (**1/2), Dobson vs. Blanchard (**1/4), 10 Man Tag (**3/4), Hardy vs. Storm (**), Cage, Hero & Sabre vs. Mysterio, Sydal & Richocet (***3/4), Monsters Ball (***) Fun show, definitely check it out guys."

[7.0] "A real up and down card. There were some great matches like the PROGRESS Title Match and the 6-man tag that included Mysterio but there was also crap like the 10-man tag which was an absolute struggle to get through for the whole pre-match stuff and then at least 10-minutes if the match. The show is worth the watch once but next time I put it in I will be very selective."
