[5.0] "Show's challengers were actually some extremely talented indy women. The opening segment with Maria was very cringeworthy. Overall the opening tournament matches varied greatly in quality. Jade vs Leva Bates being the best of the qualifying matches and Rebel vs Shelly Martinez being by far the worst. MOTN was DJ Z and Gail Kim vs Maria and Mike Bennett. The final gauntlet was fine but felt rushed."

[3.0] "Honestly I was expecting much worse . there where some good matches , one even bordered on very good . But when it was bad boy was it bad . They are paying Rebel and Raquel for something but it certainly isn't to wrestle . Rebel has been doing this to long to not be able to take hip tosses . She is in the running for worst wrestler with a job at a major promotion . And Raquel has trouble running the ropes . The announcing has that same feel as the announcing towards the end of WCW . The don't ask us to explain this we are just the announcers feel of having given up . The only people who came out of this show with anything approaching a positive rub would be Jade , Bates and Hayden . Hayden because as bad as her match was it could have been so much worse . At the end when they crowned the queen no one cared . Not the audience . Not JB. Not the winner . Matches worth watching :Allysin Kay vs. Gail Kim , Deonna vs. Madison Rayne and my top match was Jade vs. Leva Bates ."

[3.0] "The Knockouts Knockdown is a nice idea for an annual event - a nice showcase for what at one time was the best women's division in wrestling, as well as a good opportunity for indy talent to prove themselves on a bigger stage - but it hasn't always translated to very good shows. 2016 was no exception. There were a few decent matches - Jade vs. Leva and Jade vs. Madison in the 1-on-1 part of the final were solid, and Rosemary vs. Veda was decent if interference-heavy - but overall, the action wasn't really anything exceptional (and there was "that" Shelly vs. Rebel match, which, while not the worst I've ever seen, certainly wasn't good), and a lot of the outside talent seemed to be having trouble with the six-sided ring. It did a decent job of putting Jade (and, to a lesser degree, Bennett & Maria) over, but ultimately wasn't really worth the journey to get there."

[3.0] "Save your money. This PPV wasn't very good. I know the roster is weak, but some of these matches should have never been put together. Kay vs. Kim fell apart at the end and had a bad finish, despite involving the two best workers on the entire show (**1/2). Rebel vs. Shelly may be the worst match in years (-***). Dennis vs. Velvet was okay (**). Jade vs. Leva "stole the show, " even though it involved Leva (***). Rosemary vs. Veda was just a match (*1/2). Hayden vs. Raquel was bad, although Hayden can be a star (DUD). Rayne vs. Purrazzo was alright (**1/4). Bell vs. Jayme was not good (1/2*). Bennetts vs. Kim and Z was what it was (*3/4). The Knockouts Gauntlet was, again, what it was (**). Shelly Martinez was just beyond awful and Rebel shout NOT be in the ring as a wrestler."
