[7.0] "Another solid show from the American indie company that in 2016 has consistently put on the most stacked shows and delivered. The main event was very similar to that of last month's in that it turned into a wild brawl set all-over Bourbon Street but the best match, per se, was that of another competitor who has come in & out-of-retirement in '16, no not Jake Crist, but J Alexander and T Ciampa. The story was a surefire successful one - the vulnerability of JA's fragile neck and the variances of viciousness an empathizing face would employ throughout the contest to be able to defeat the powerful, capable challenge without potentially rehurting JA and send him back to 'retirement. ' It's a shame AR Fox and Aerostar were only given five minutes as I bet they would have had a more satisfying match than Hero/Drago, the latter competitor I found quite rusty/clunky in his movements and execution. The crowd was odd in that match in that they love themselves some CH, but boo'd him when imposing his superior physical stature on the reptilic luchador. The four way between 3 TNA's/1 NXT and/or 3 Carolina boys and a MD was awesome for only being eight minutes. ZSJ/Gargano did not try to compete with all the many spotty contests and instead worked a wrestling match that only got hot when ZSJ broke out the cocky to heckling fans. Drew/Silas stunk when it went from keen chain wrestling to lots of hijinx involving SY's knee-protector. The other bouts also didn't register as positive."

[9.0] "A really fun show, one of most type of matches. With great storyline progression, and four really good matches."

[8.0] "AAW continues to accelerate towards being one of the top indies in the States, and there's lots of fun matches on this card - Josh Alexander returning to challenge Tommaso Ciampa in a heavy hitting battle, Chris Hero imposing his will on Drago, AR Fox and Aerostar having a mad Lucha sprint, an insane four way with three North Carolina guys and a Moose, Zack Sabre Jr. putting on a technical clinic against Johnny Gargano, and a big brawl in the main event. Lots of variety, and unlike a certain other top "dream match" promotion, there's several storylines moving things along."
