[7.0] "On a weekend in which the far majority of the wrestling world was on Dallas, the Chikarmy who stayed true blue was treated to the (almost) annual tradition of the Tag World Grand Prix. As a fan of single-day tournaments I looked forward to watching this Disc and was rewarded with a good, if not great show. Every succeeding year it seems that the members of Los Ice Creams are adding more and more moves to their repertoire but it still wasn't enough to get over the hump. A goal of tonight's gimmickry was to get over that blasted armcast on ol' Blaster McMassive's armcast; I'm into getting ones gimmicks over but to have it lead to both victories, including that of the finals, was overkill. In other action, the Estonian Thunderfrog and Artic Rescue Ant had a surprisingly brutal, strong style match in which not everything clicked, but I can't say I didn't 'walk away' impressed. The other two matches, again featuring top-flight Chikara talent, served more story than wrestling purposes as the end of the Eight Man saw the prospects of perhaps a return trip to the darker side for UltraMantis, and a continuation of a seemingly endless saga of noone trusting Mr. Touchdown's intentions, and his ever-growing frustrations as it leads him to a narrower pay window each time out. Keen encore and a nice final shot of a bewildered, dazed Pinkie."

[7.0] "A solid show marked by very good semifinal and final rounds of the Tag World Grand Prix, some good multi-man matches (along with some intrigue involving the Nightmare Warriors), and some solid singles matches. The Colony vs. DevCorp final match especially stood out. Quality event all around."

[9.0] "The tournament seemed to improve as it went. The final was the highlight of the night, very good work from both teams. Blaster especially is a standout. The encore match was a blast, I'm amazed at how good a match they could have in a short time. No matches disappointed at all, the weakest was Frog vs. Arctic Rescue but even that was good, just not great."
